The food is so incredibly delicious that this is probably my new favorite stall in the market hall. Price-performance ratio is more than fair and the service is top. The owner is also an extraordinarily good person and very personable. You can't go wrong eating here; I highly recommend it.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this but it’s literally the BEST Sri Lankan food in Basel. I can definitely confirm that as someone who grew up eating Sri Lankan food. It’s incredibly authentic food. I wholeheartedly recommend this place ♥️

Chicken kothu and roti with vegetable curries are both amazing!!! The aubergine kurma is just out of this world. And the owner, who makes all the food, is so kind and friendly! I will definitely return.

Visiting Zoe Food of Ceylon was the first thing I did after arriving in Basel. The staffs are super friendly, they cook and serve in an authentic Sri Lankan way. The rice and curry are delicious. The Sri Lankan kottu rotty is outstanding. The best Sri Lankan kottu rotty I ever had outside of Sri Lanka. Probably the best in Europe. Good portions, great quality and a reasonable price. I highly recommend this place. I'd like to come back here again.

It's been a long time since I've had such authentic Tamil food. Found it by chance and I'm over the moon about it. Would recommend it to anyone. Gladly again. The service was also great. Danger of repetition!!

This place has only been open for a week and they’re killing it! We had great lentils, a wonderful chicken curry, a delicious eggplant dish, and this incredible dish made with beet roots and caramelized onions. Soooo good! Check out their new food stall in Markt Halle and give them some love -

It's great that there is now a Tamil restaurant in the market hall! South Asian cuisine has not been represented enough so far. The curry was good, the vegetables were excellently prepared. As for the meat, I suspect the original would be spicier and spicier, which is what I would prefer. The portion, especially the amount of meat, was large, but I suspect that will only be the case for the first few days. The staff was very friendly. The price was not cheap at CHF 21, even in the price structure of the market hall.

Very authentic and absolutely delicious foods. Thanks so much for the complementary drink and snacks at the grand opening today. They tasted fantastic and allowed us to experience the rich Sri Lankan cuisine and tradition here in Basel. I’m beyond impressed with the lunch today and will definitely come back again soon.
