I don't understand why this coffee has such good reviews! There are no chairs, tables or anything to eat in the “Kaffee”. A lonely coffee machine is waiting to be used and there are 3 small tables with 4 chairs in front of the house. You can't buy anything with food, but various hats are on display. Why this place calls itself coffee is beyond me. Seems to be a marketing ploy, as various visitors gave it 5 stars for whatever reason.

During my visit today I tried every bread and I have to say that they were all absolutely top and tasted incredibly good. But it wasn't just the bread that was convincing, but also the familiar and friendly manner that I was able to experience here. I can only warmly recommend this bread/baker. It's small and nice. In summary, I would say this is a hidden pearl in Bern!

Unique place with beautiful views. I used to always come here to eat a croute fromage with a café maison while skiing. Hopefully the ski area will reopen.

The small café / resti is very homely and beautifully decorated. The owner is also incredibly friendly and contributes so much to the relaxed and positive atmosphere. Coffee was great and prepared exactly the way you like it. The prices are very fair and there are even discounts for students.
