Came on a Sunday evening, which perhaps explains the welcome and the icy atmosphere of the empty restaurant, when I reserved at 6:30 p.m., it was barely if they were willing to give me a table!
We only order two dishes without starters, a steak from the Molard butcher shop, pig cheeks for my friend.
The entrecote, the most expensive dish, is tiny, the very very very cooked cheeks give the impression of being a little dated or of being re-served from another customer, strange.
The waiters constantly insist that you drink, scowl when you say no.
At 8 p.m., the kitchen cleans up loudly, telling you that you have to leave.
Not all that great.
Not about to set foot there again.
In the top ! Very good place to party and above all safe inside! Which is highly respectable. The instructions are given by the safety officers at the entrance and are very, very clear, I loved it! Thank you for this party.
Frankly, it doesn't make you want to set foot... it's dirty, it doesn't cost anything to have another lick of paint at the price you sell your menus for... Are we talking about the ashtray?
It has much more of a bar vibe than restaurant, and therefore one would expect good drinks along with food.
We had booked a table for dinner, and they did comply with our request for a window table, but the restaurant was basically empty when we came so it felt natural.
Service is friendly enough, though it seems they only were two people servicing the entire area (which did eventually become busy), but they were still attentive to us which was great (though they were visibly and understandably in a hurry).
The food was alright, tapas was great, the risotto had a picture with much more seafood and shrimps, but came with none of that (it was a shrimp risotto with no shrimp??). We did order one drink (whiskey sour) which unfortunately was too disappointing so we only tasted it and couldn’t even finish it. There was basically no sourness and no sugar in it at all, it would be completely believable if they later said that they accidentally swapped their syrup/sugar with regular water. It was an expensive 16 CHF for two disappointing sips…
anyhow, the vibe seems nice enough but our experience was sadly not the greatest. might be better another time?
Actually a nice park but besieged by Romanians who sleep about 15 people there night after night. The police and the city are watching. Geneva is increasingly becoming a begging mecca. In every park the same picture in front of every Coop and Migros. Just sad.
