The restaurant is staffed with friendly and motivated staff😀 The food tastes delicious and regional, the only criticism of dishes with French fries is that there are always too many French fries. It's better to add a smaller portion of French fries but get a second helping.
We are currently staying at this property, chosen because it is a stone's throw from Vaduz and Bad Ragaz. The apartment assigned to us is equipped with all comforts, with 5 beds (there are 4 of us), kitchen and satellite TV. The only major flaws in the apartment are the bathroom (because it is very spartan and with a former plugged and smelly drain) and, for an Italian who always brings something of his own to eat/cook from home, the lack of a colander and a moka among the dishes 🤣 Among other things, the hob is electric, not induction (so anyone who wants can bring the coffee maker with them). Apart from this, the large size of the apartment is not of secondary importance. We didn't opt for breakfast because we know Swiss prices quite well, living a few km from CH. And besides, our accommodation isn't cheap either... but it was inevitable, being the Easter period. Overall good though
As for the location: we are very close to the motorway, a stone's throw from the train station and a snap of the fingers from the very pretty village of Heidi, which makes everyone feel like a child again.
After waiting in line for almost 45 minutes, we received completely overpriced chicken nuggets and fries. Both were cold! The chicken nuggets were soft and had nothing to do with chicken. The fries were the worst fries I've ever had. Tasteless, limp and not seasoned properly. The nut salad was okay, the bacon could be better. In summary, it was too expensive for me and we had no alternative so we were forced to eat there. It's a shame, you can get a lot out of it if you want and know how...
Here you can use the toilet for 1Fr. It's faster than in Heidiland. And in Heidiland there is only a 50Rp coupon back, which can ONLY be redeemed in the Marche.
Unfortunately I can't report anything about the cleanliness. I noticed the toilet too late.
Great restaurant on the mountain. Food is tasty (love the Veal cheeks) and staff very warm and accommodating. Our go-to place for lunch on ski days in Laax. Best to reserve in advance as it's, understandably, quite popular.
The previous record in terms of service in the 2012/13 season!!! After an hour (60 minutes) it's always nonig and served with tomato cream soup and a portion of chnobli bread. The soup is probably in a pot ready and the chicken bread is not really challenging for the Chuchi... And all
that's nope on twelve o'clock at noon, but on the other day at noon......!!! (Excuse me from the staff? = missing report!!!)
Update:
After 11 years, I've been looking again and unfortunately the service is always catastrophic......! !!!!!!
Kind of a bare bones experience. Was a quiet area, no food nearby, outdated rooms, breakfast minimal, I thought there would at least be a nice view considering the mountains right behind, but tall trees cover the building. I feel like for the money, it was overpriced.
Ordered via justeat.ch, delivered way too late twice in a row. Pizza after 5 minutes like rubber sole. Sauces that are just enough for 3 slices of pizza. It's such a shame, everyone neglects quality after a while. Definitely won't be ordering again.
