Wieder einmal packte uns die Lust nach gutem Thai-Food. Also, wohin gehen wir? Da wir keine Zeit und Lust auf Experimente hatten, gingen wir auf Nummer sicher: Ins Thai-Grütli in Werdenberg. Es war wieder Spitze, wie immer. Frisch zubereitet und super gekocht !!! Leider mussten wir erfahren, dass die Tage des Thai-Grütli gezählt sind, eine Überbauung ist ab Mitte 2020 geplant... bleibt zu hoffen, dass die Grütlifamilie einen andern Platz findet, um ihre Gäste weterhin mit bestem Thai-Food zu verwöhnen !!!

Food was very good. Unfortunately you can only pay in cash and it is not written on the door that you can only pay in cash. That wouldn't be bad if it was written on upon receipt. Thanks

A very not caring waiter didn't feel like saying when I was ordering a beer that the beer he suggested was a bottled beer, not on tap. Sure! I have obviously come to a bar to have a bottled beer. This is what people do... Other waitresses are fine, but this guy is not.

Der Typ ist sehr unhöflich. Der freut sich glaub über keinen Kunden, so wie der sich verhält. Noch ein Hallo noch ein Wiedersehen. Nicht mal ein Danke fürs Geschirr zurückbringen!

Extremely friendly team, a real pleasure!

The quality of the food is pretty good for fast food, but the speed of the service leaves a lot to be desired. The store is almost empty but waiting times of 15-30 minutes are not uncommon.

We enjoyed the food in the restaurant. An original menu with Rösti variations surprised us. We experienced an original, approachable and friendly service team. Gladly again.

There is a very good selection of vegetarian dishes every lunchtime

It is quite an affordable restaurant compared to others in Switzerland. There is a choice of a daily menu for a price between 13 and 19 francs or a selection from the buffet where you pay according to the size of the plate 7 to 14 francs for a plate full of food as you like. There is also always some soup and several desserts on offer. The service is nice and always helps with the selection. The food is of average quality, but the biggest negative is the environment, which looks like cheap fast food. Children have a climbing frame inside and there is also the possibility to sit on the terrace. The advantage is that there are both small tables for 2-4 people and large tables for 8 people.
