I mostly know the bar and have frequented the restaurant a few times.
The general rule is the rest. It's not bad, but the last time I came with company, my host's hamburger was very salty and the cheesecake, which the waiter recommended "very highly" was a tasteless piece of rubber.
(Could it be that they had made too much of it and had to get rid of it? At the risk of selling the guest something disgusting?)
Bars: I really like to relax a bit in bars. Read my newspaper, write, entertain myself with any company..... But you can't because the music is very loud! So, between the noise from behind the counter (coffee machine, crockery, etc., obviously), the chatter of the guests plus that music at an exaggerated volume, stresses me out, more than anything else!
P.S. Also I wonder, why are there NEVER napkins on the table in momo' bars (all TI?)?
In Italy there is never a shortage.
Never, not even in the most "filthy" places.
I remembered it in the Maghetti neighborhood many years ago....Last night with a dear friend I returned there after all those years...Magnificent experience...Lovely little place!
Very nice, clean and unique place. Prices in my opinion a little high for the quantity of food. Spare ribs were just bones! After telling the waiter, he asked us if we wanted anything else (we would have expected another portion of the same dish to arrive!)
Very disappointing Easter lunch, 2 pieces of kid not at all special, a few baked potatoes and frozen vegetables at an exorbitant price. The place is nice but the cuisine needs to be improved a lot.
