A warm welcome with comforting cuisine. Coming from Avignon in France for a short stay, we were delighted to eat and drink in the excellent company of the inhabitants of this village. Bravo and thank you to the team and particularly to Sam for his communicative good humor

Posto carino anche se non si vede bene dall’esterno. La pinsa è buona anche se già pronta! Nice atmosphère, very convenient for a lunch break. Parking it’s easy. Good prices and there are also some products from Italy 🇮🇹
The Pinsa is from Roma and it’s something between a pizza and a focaccia, so it’s kind of bread with some toppings.
Great Tapas experience. Tasty food and excellent service. I enjoyed the atmosphere. However, sharing one large table with other restaurant geoers would not be my choice for all occasions. It is on the expensive side too. The cheese accompanying meat platter was really good.
What hospitality at this cabin! everything neat. It is not modern like the other cabins we have slept in, but that is what makes this cabin so unique. One can choose to sleep in the room where the beds are made of straw, how cool. We liked that the most. Part of the group slept in the other room where the mattresses are located. We were invited to have a drink together as a welcome. Afterwards we had a nice meal. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast and were provided with a delicious packed lunch. Really worth visiting and staying overnight.
Rue de la Corsaz 8, 1820 Montreux, Switzerland, Vaud
We have had a second home in Montreux for 14 years but have only just discovered this wonderful bakery. It is in the Old Town - this means a walk uphill, a car journey (limited parking a short distance away) or Bus 206. It is worth the journey! Beautiful croissants and a baguette that could come from Paris. The baguette has a good crust and that inside that resembles sourdough. Clearly a hand made product. The prices are ridiculously low for Switzerland and the lovely lady behind the counter repaired my paper bag when I inserted the baguette too enthusiastically. Carefully note the days it opens (and that it closes at 1.30) and MAKE THE JOURNEY. You'll be grateful you did.
