Very good restaurant. They serve a variety of small appetizer dishes which are wonderful.My favorite is the chicken. It also has a large selection of wines. One of my favorite restaurants in town. Really delicious!

Wonderful original Italian cuisine, lovely family service. We come from Vienna, but when in St. Gallen, then Mamma Assunta! Be sure to try the red house wine! Saluti, alla prossima!

We stumbled upon this wonderful little place on our drive back to Appenzell. It was one of our favorite places and such a great experience. Our host was an older woman whose name we regrettably never got but she was just wonderful!! So welcoming, made excellent suggestions and even did her best to explain in English what the items were. She even drew examples when she couldn’t think of the correct English word for deer and elk. She chatted with us and just made our dinner experience so great. The food and wine was also unbelievable. We each chose the Wild special of elk or deer. Highly recommend!!

The food is delicious. The place is small and usually crowded but cozy enough. You can take from focaccia to complete meal dishes. The wine is good. In general a good place.

Excellent traditional inn type restaurant without fuss.

Always very good pizzas but this time it was very salty. Wouldn't order a pizza again!!!

Great restaurant run with love! We are there as guests from time to time and are always warmly welcomed.. the food is excellent, the pizzas and the service are excellent, you feel like you are in Italy.. great ambience and the two brothers are TOP! Always happy to come back and the price-performance ratio is excellent..!

Simply pure enjoyment and warm hospitality, the mixed salad with white beans is sensational, Cozze with chnobli bread is simply fantastic. The pasti are also highly recommended

Das Essen kommt schnell und ist preiswert, warme Küche immer möglich, Service aufmerksam und freundlich, Pizze und auch gut bürgerlich mit sehr gutem Preis - Leistungs Verhältnis.

I was so happy about a Tagliatelle Bolognese a Salsiccia! Everything homemade! But unfortunately I was very disappointed.. no taste of the sausage, the sauce was sour, much undercooked, watery and I had to add salt a good 5 times.. Pasta water not salted? There was no response to my complaint that it was tasteless and that I actually ordered it specifically because of the taste of the sausage, and also the large portion so that I had something to take home with me but I no longer wanted to take it with me... When I initially asked about an aperitif with alcohol, she suggested Aperol Spritz... but I asked about the Lilliet with the berries in it, the lady said yes. After ordering, I saw a whole menu of aperitifs, which unfortunately she didn't show me. Unfortunately the Lillette came without berries... only with Schwepes Wild Berry... It's a shame, I was used to better things from the focacceria...

Immer wieder gerne dort. Das Personal ist freundlich, die Speisen liebevoll zusammengestellt, auch wenn man den ein oder anderen Extrawunsch hat.

Bella Italia in Rapperswil...what more could you want to escape and enjoy everyday life. Only recommended.
