Pleasant atmosphere, very tasty food, large portions and friendly staff. I recommend it and will happily come back.

Nice place to chill, be with friends, bring your dog, or even work (they have wifi). The people are really nice and it's next to the port. They serve bagels, salads, dahl, and soup of the day, with beers, wine, and some desserts. Usually open in spring/summer until the end of October.

A very good Sunday brunch. Pastries, hot and cold dishes and desserts. Everything was very good! The welcome was perfect. They didn't have a seat but they rearranged their tables to find one for us. Remember to make a reservation if you want to have brunch. There is a children's corner with games. It's great for families but it's noisy.

Tradition obliges and we were in Stein am Rhein at Easter and at the Rheinfels restaurant for lunch. You can't tell from the outside of the house how much tradition there is in it. You eat fish and it's usually crispy and very good. When it's nice there is a nice terrace by the river. Be sure to try the Truttiker Pinot Blanc. I had the Frito Misto, very nicely done. In that place you can find really fresh and good fish even raw one. I found this place managed by Sicilian people really comfortable, with warm attitude and informal if you want. Give them a possibility to let them delight you with good dishes and a friendly atmosphere.

We have been going to the Schützenhaus with the children about once a month for years. The food is always freshly prepared Homemade croquettes, super tasty. There is always a wide variety of vegetables that are no longer available in restaurants very often. Lamb fillet is highly recommended, and the Cordon Bleu fitness plate is also a hit with us. We will definitely remain loyal to you.

It's a shame I relied on the reviews that were too good. Called more than a week in advance and ordered a very nice place. I also struggled with Italian. That was probably one of the mistakes. We got the best spot right next to the kitchen door. Just don't take this seat. The door opens a thousand times. There is a draft and a smell coming from the kitchen. A huge noise too. You can't hang the jacket on the chair. This bothers the arrogant female waitresses. But if you then complain, then it's your own fault... What a shame. Great kitchen. Staff and space right next to the kitchen cannot be recommended at all. The main thing is that there is an empty table in the middle of the room where the staff writes down the orders and holds out their besties to you. We never again... Not recommended at all.
