Die besten Restaurants mit Vegetarien Essen in Solothurn

We will no longer visit the Ristorante Taverne Romana. Why? The good first: The food was good to very good. The wines consumed were also good. We really liked the atmosphere. Now the negative impressions: There was no menu (not even on the homepage). The service staff listed the dishes without any price information and you had to decide on something straight away. A comparative weighing was not possible. Apparently all the guests are very well-heeled, so it doesn't matter to them how much one dish or another costs. A well-filled wallet was also necessary when paying because the prices were above average, especially for the wines. The service staff was very friendly, but some of the technical expertise was lacking. Some examples: I ordered fish in two courses, but had the steak knife on the table until the end. Because we - like most of the guests - wanted to drive back, I asked about the open white and red wines. The staff couldn't answer both questions: "I have to go ask." Both times we didn't get an answer even after waiting 10 minutes and had to ask at the bar. After the main course, I asked the staff if it was possible to order a very small plate with a maximum of three small pieces of cheese. “Of course we’ll do it” was the answer. A large plate arrived with 5 different and large pieces of cheese... So much for food wasting! There are a few more examples to list that pretty much ruined the evening for us - especially after the hefty bill payment.

Today, in brilliant weather, we were able to eat again in the garden of the Restaurant zum wilden Mann. Because of the weather, we were still undecided whether we wanted to eat inside or outside - but it wouldn't have mattered because there was a table set for us both inside and outside. We were warmly welcomed, the food was wonderful (including the bread ;-)) - there are only positive things to report. Google would like you to recommend a dish - for me it was the Seetaler Schweinsrack - a dream! Thank you very much, and yes, we arrived safely. :-)

Pleasant restaurant, not everyone could like it

Authentic and delicious Thai dishes. friendly and efficient service. Recommended without reservations!

It's a shame that a restaurant that is so great in all respects has to close for economic reasons. Ambience, service, hospitality, cuisine, everything was just right here and all at extremely fair prices. We mourn the Tschepbach......

I was able to order the take away menu 15 minutes before pickup and it was ready on time. The food was very good and there were several sauces with it. Happy to order again!

It's a pleasure to enjoy a meal at Barmelhof, we had butcher's dinner today...mmhh, nice! The service was also friendly and prompt!

The food was ok but too expensive for what was offered. I think the portions are very small for what you ask for. I think it's very bad that they let dogs in. The dog shook her the whole time and my mouth was full of dog hair. Sorry but that's no go, I can't recommend it to anyone else. For what you spend, there are very good restaurants in Solothurn. That was my 2nd time and last. The service was top notch and very nice. However, the food was not very garlicky.

Great discovery. Refined and creative meal: Jerusalem artichoke soup served hot around whiskey ice cream. Chocolate-coffee ice cream and caramel ice cream: very good. Too bad the toasts were sometimes burnt. Solothurn beer but foreign red wine (too bad). Nice decor, renovated building and sophisticated decoration but not too busy.
