Abordage in Lac Léman (VD)

We came here as no reservation. It was busy. We got our table. I ate pasta and it was superb. Pricey tho. My partner had burger and it was good as well. Service was not bad.

Given the sunny weather we were able to eat on the terrace. Dishes composed of succulent and well presented green asparagus. Smiling and efficient staff. We will come back

We went today for a Sunday meal as a couple. It’s always very busy on Sundays and we got a place that suited us well. Meal-wise, we especially like the pizza 🍕 “Caprese with bufala mozzarella and tomatoes”, it’s a real treat because the dough is crunchy and the flour used makes it a thin and light dough. The filling is rather generous and of good quality (for example San Daniel raw ham). Today I thank the boss ☕️ and his team for their welcome, we will come back with great pleasure.

Went with a group for a professional dinner. Pleasantly surprised. The food is good and the ambiance is very nice.

Very nice discovery! we were a team, and everyone was delighted. Personally, I had the white truffle pasta: a delight, and the Nutella pizza: a treat. Impeccable service. The only downside: I was placed towards the front door... and there was a lot of coming and going for the pizzas ordered to take away. In winter, not ideal. I will return this summer, the terrace is magnificent.

These days it's not always easy to find a good pizza. This one was extra as we like: airy and light dough, well cooked, not too loaded with mozzarella and toppings. In short, a perfect balance. The service is charming and the setting is cozy. Perhaps a small detail could be improved; the scoops of ice cream could be more generous. The cup was a little low in ice.

Nice place where we ate very well. The welcome from some employees is a little austere and lacking in ampathy but I recommend this establishment. No complaints about the food which was excellent.

Came here on a recommendation as the best pizza place in Lausanne and weren't disappointed - the pizza is indeed excellent. It's a Neapolitan style pizza with thick borders and with plenty of toppings options. The service was also decent: I could only wish they spoke English better. If there is anything to improve the menu it could be adding freshly squeezed juices to the menu - for some reason it's very rare in Swiss restaurants. It's nice they have dedicated free parking lots.

Nice place located a few meters from the lake but no view. Very good lake perch fillets but the price is exorbitant. The rest of the menu also seems to delight the taste buds.

I have had the pleasure of dining at the "L'Abordage" restaurant on several occasions and I must say that the experience has always been very pleasant. Located a stone's throw from the lake, this restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that perfectly complements the surrounding natural setting. As for food, the pastas and pizzas are generally very good. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes are well seasoned, which makes every meal delicious. Another significant advantage is the private parking available to customers. However, it should be noted that places are limited. Since parking can be difficult in the area, I advise you to arrive a little early to be sure of finding a space. In terms of service, orders may take a little time to arrive, but never excessively so. The staff is friendly and does their best to ensure a pleasant experience each visit. In summary, "L'Abordage" is an excellent option for those looking to enjoy good food in a calming setting. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return.

In a calm neighbourhood, near the lake. A neighbourhood tip is to take the pizzas away and eat them at the nearby beach.

Excellent restaurant, wonderfully located a few steps from Lake Geneva. Impeccable and friendly service. Terrace also available in case of unstable weather because partly covered by the roof.

Very quiet pizzeria by the beach, really a great place! The pizzas are delicious and very filling. There is a student discount if you get takeaway.

Difficult to give a clear opinion. The weather was not good for the RV but the covered part allowed us to eat outside. For the cooking part, my Neapolitan pizza (the one I order in all new establishments) At first glance, it looked good and was tempting. But the toppings don't match. Lack of ingredients (olives, capers) When tasting, in the center, the dough was wet as if not cooked enough.

We ate the pizza which turned out to be perhaps the best in Lausanne. Very nice waitress. Next time I will try other dishes.

What a desappointment! I took perch fillets for 47.-. At this price, they must be perfect. That wasn't the case at all. Overcooked, completely brown, they were dripping with oil and were not good. The portion of fries was very meager. In short, rubbish!! Prices are generally exaggerated, overrated. It's an Italian restaurant with classic cuisine, nothing more. Unfortunately the prices do not match the dishes. For example, the beef tagliata costs 46.-, to which must be added the fries for 5.50.-. The hamburger costs 31.-. Restaurant to avoid, there are much better elsewhere even by the lake.

Several times we cross the lake from France to "land" in this establishment and this time we could not not leave a glowing comment, the place is magical, the service is perfect, fast and efficient, real pros and the dishes are delicious, good creations like this smoked swordfish carpaccio which was to die for, octopus at the top and pizzas that are just EXCEPTIONAL!!! but like every time! Outstanding pizza. They have really nailed the crust and the sauce. Try the Margherita, it's delicious. Nice salads & desserts too. There's a big outdoor terrace.

Pleasant place near the lake, the pizzas are excellent I had a fresh and slightly sweet tiramisu as I like. The servers are smiling and attentive to your needs. I highly recommend coming.

Delicious pizza 🍕 in a beautiful location

A pretty restaurant in a very gorgeous and quiet area not far from the lake. Portions are quite generous and the waiters are very friendly and approachable. The best surprise was the gluten free option for the pizzas! Big kuddos to the chef for trying. And it was quite close to a regular wheat flour based dough. Can't wait to bring my family there!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is well cooked, they have an excellent selection of wines and the staff is friendly and always ready. If the day is nice, take advantage of the terrace. There is no view of the lake but it can still be reached with just a few steps. Highly recommended

Pizza way too wet and too expensive. Nice setting but average service

Great option at a very nice location. The service was very polite and quick. The portions are very generous and very fair pricing! A jem in St-Sulpice! We tried the eggplants in the oven, the pesto risotto and the grilled octopus! No comments... Being greek, that was a piece of Mediterranean in Swiss Romande!

Solid experience, food good, service ok

I've been there twice. I was not expecting to eat such great pizza so I came back again to taste others and I was really happy about that second chance! I had a starter with artichokes and eggs that was sublime. Finally I'm a tiramisù lover and I'm pretty critical about that; I gave it a chance and I was really surprised, it was so tasty that I really couldn't believe that it was possible to eat such a great tiramisù outside Italy. Well done guys, I'll come back for sure!

Nice restaurant near Lake Geneva and EPFL. Wide range of dishes, manageable menu. The pizzas have a very fine, wide edge.

Food is nicely plated and the service is friendly. Taste is dissappointing. Tried the veal, lamb and beef filet, was all okay, but the overall composition was bad, vegetables tasted fishy, sauce was sparse, potatoes were really bad. Scallops were bland and not prepped well. Salmon tartar looked horrendous. Fries were super nice though. Overall not worth going if you love food. If you dont care too much, you will have a good time.

We came back here to celebrate my mother's birthday (we were 8 people). What can I say, everything was excellent, my family didn't know the place but they were delighted to spend the evening there. Custom-made cake and generous portions. Thank you very much to the staff for giving us an incredible evening!

We had a spontaneous meal late at lunchtime. The location of the restaurant is great - almost on the lake and with a view of the lake. The food was served promptly and you could also share a starter. The service was very friendly, attentive and also quick.

Nice restaurant, but unfortunately the staff could be more cheerful, it seems that we are not welcome.....a smile costs nothing but brings a lot.....my plate was cold and my meal lukewarm!

Pizza of the week: Cereal dough with cherry tomatoes, parmesan and rucola. The dough is light and therefore easy to digest. A real treat for the taste buds!

Pizza was really good there! I took a random one with pistachios on it, sounds strange but it was actually really delicious!

The best pizzas I have eaten. There really isn't better anywhere else. As for the rest, I haven't tried it yet but I'm looking forward to trying it.

A sweet restaurant we stumbled by while having a walk by the lake. The staff was very kind and welcoming and the pizzas were fantastic. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in the area.

Very good but a lot of waiting unfortunately

We had dinner this evening at 4 on the terrace (14.8.2022). A good number of tables (6) were occupied by couples with young or very young children, often making quite a bit of noise. Not to mention the scraping sound of the (uncomfortable) steel chairs on the cement/stone floor. Two of us ordered the Tagliata of stale beef on the bone (Chf 44.50). The plates were cold, as was the meat. I asked the waitress why they didn't heat the plates to which she replied that it was because of the few salad leaves also on them. Why not put the salad in a small bowl on the side and the fries served in a small bowl (cold) on the plate (to be heated)??? In short, the meat was tasteless, the fries too salty, the atmosphere noisy and the service average. No chance of going back...

Big disappointment with this new restaurant since the change of management! We went there on a Sunday evening, ordered the pesto risotto with prawns but instead of the prawns there was a kind of trout tartare, the salmon trout tartare was very poorly cut, however the linguine with vongoles was very good, however I had to ask twice for my glass of wine in order to be able to taste it at the same time as my dish! As for the service, we looked for where the smile and friendliness of the staff was.... For an entrepreneur who is not an amateur from what I have read in the press, can do better! Too bad but we won't go back.

A huge place with a posh feel in the very centre of St Sulpice. Their pizzas were just simply amazing -straight out of the bread oven, smelling delicious. There is a beautiful terrace (great for cocktails and dining during fine weather).

Try to get the tables at the terrace to really enjoy the summer evenings, unfortunately the tables inside get very warm.

Very nice terrace.... however the tables are not suitable for a terrace (wooden and not very clean... missing placemats) as for the chairs they are made of iron and are very noisy. and very uncomfortable. . very friendly staff .. excellent pizza
