Delicious meal and perfect service!

Beautiful setting, delicious food and well served... we had a drink on Saturday evening of our weekend, then we came there the next day for breakfast reserved with the hotel room... I was very surprised to see that after small croissants, pain au chocolat and various items served on the table... we were offered different lunch options included... Hummmm delicious... We were served by a friendly little waitress like everything and who frankly deserves to be hired full time. Bravo Miss, we had a great experience and we will come back again this year.

There was some kind of fabric in the cheese and after reporting it to the server there wasn't even apologies or anything from server or the manager. The food was good but the service was sad. One server was really rude as he put zero effort in explaining the cheese selection as I received no information on cheese, it was disappointing. The same server also pour wine and everytime it would splash out of glass a bit. It was only one server who was rude and unprofessional but it did change my image of this place.

We booked for the Christmas menu, for a restaurant of this reputation the service was disappointing, unsmiling staff (except the extra who was starting his first day) and unprofessional, we thought we were in a canteen. The meal nothing more and poor in quantity, the ridiculous cheese plate. We ended with a nice surprise with dessert. Cold table decoration for such an occasion. Value for money not there

It was a first in your establishment and surely a last unfortunately.. we entered through the main entrance of the hotel, nothing being indicated.. as soon as we entered the door an unpleasant man looked us up and down, telling us to don't stay there and go down to the parking lot... either... Once we find where to park we find the restaurant.. we are very well received by a young woman who takes us to our table.. the only positive point of our evening.. The cuisine did not dazzle us despite the high prices... the Vietnamese salad has a problem with the dosage in terms of lemongrass... my companion couldn't finish... peach burrata good.. The octopus was good but not plentiful enough in our opinion... and the hummus was much too present... Thank you for the little candle requested on my husband's dessert Then we leave the restaurant and go through the parking lot where we were told to park... and for barely 2 hours we find ourselves paying more than 9chf... Nothing lived up to the prices charged in my opinion... Damage ..

Terribly sad birthday dinner. Very poor service (long minutes to take the first order for the drinks, one by one!) We asked to change tables as one with lake view was available but needed to be cleared. The response was: you must wait till I clean when I have a minute !!! Average food No sides were proposed with the Tagine, which was sad. 🫤 We didn’t stay for dessert or coffee as it was not a great experience. Very poor outdoor infrastructure (plastic chairs without cushions ) All these are a real shame for a 5 stars hotel restaurant...

We went to the Bellagio café during the Montreux Jazz festival, despite the crowds, the service is impeccable, the staff are welcoming and very pleasant. I will not hesitate to return there on my next stays. A real quality establishment!!!

The welcome is unpleasant. You might think it was a casting error but all the staff are nonchalant. Unfortunately, the kitchen is not up to par either. The perch fillets, advertised at 180 g for 49.- on the menu, are a complete joke. Served on a dessert plate, you can help but laugh when you see these 5 'strong maous' fillets. The cooking was messed up and way overcooked. The ceviche starter is bland and lacks pep. There are some positive points, the fries are quite good and the salads are well seasoned. The terrace is well shaded and quiet from traffic, near the lake. The wine list is a little expensive for the selected references. In the end, a big disappointment for a restaurant that aims to be gastronomic.

I would like to file a complaint against one of your waiters who treated us in a discriminatory manner. We went to your restaurant and was seated by your waiter (blonde hair with a ponytail) and ordered drinks only... at no time did he ask if we were having a meal or drinks. Once we ordered, the waiter dismissed us rudely for just ordering drinks and said we must carry out our drinks outside the restaurant to a bar next door He demanded we settle the bill and it was an awful experience caused by this waiter. We felt humiliated and discriminated against. This behavior is unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately. No one should be treated this way regardless of their menu order, skin colour or ethnicity. I urge you to take action and ensure that all employees receive proper training on respect, diversity and decency.

My partner and I visited Montreux yesterday for the jazz festival and had dinner here last night. It's a lovely restaurant with a wonderful view of the lake. The food was delicious and well presented, the staff were welcoming and helpful. We look forward to a return visit.

The practical establishment of prices in relation to the five stars of the hotel. The dishes offered are very good and beautifully prepared. The meat was tender as butter and the service deserves to be increased a little during the Montreux Jazz. Every time, I go there with pleasure...reservations are recommended.

Even during the Jazz Festival, it's a great atmosphere and a nice break from the crowds outside. The Maitre-D with the beard and the young lady assistant were very nice, and thanks for the suggestion of the Beef fillet and also the fois gras as entree! Everything was excellent and I will come again if I'm in the area :)

But that's it... he didn't even stop by once to see if everything was okay. He was completely stressed. (The other sommeliers clearly looked more distinguished) -The dish... I had the opportunity to taste their perch fillet. They were dry and tasteless. (Reheated?) -Dessert... I tasted their chocolate cake. It was cold and compact. At this stage it’s just a condensed chocolate cake. Given the place we expect better. -Wait 30 minutes for an addition. Bulk: We arrive and we see that everything is very expensive (a Coke for 6 francs and a menu between 60 and 70 francs) we say to ourselves that this is normal given the place. Maybe total 10 clients, took them 20 min to get order for one cocktail and a coffee. To pay 8 CHF for a Nespresso machine capuccino and 18 CHF for a normal cocktail I find it horrible, not even good service, they gave us some cold popcorn as a free side thought :)

Very long waiting times. If you eat here you have to take your time. Some dishes were not available and my main course was only lukewarm. The German translation in the menu was incorrect and the waiter changed our table four times while we were serving. The starter was great, the main course (chicken) was more or less cold and the bill hadn't arrived after two and a half hours. We had to pour the wine ourselves and no one cared whether we wanted to order more drinks. I would prefer other restaurants in this price range.

Das Servicepersonal war zwar freundlich, aber völlig unprofessionell. Schon beim Eintreten wird man damit konfrontiert, dass man maximal zwei Stunden bleiben kann. Ziemlich aggressiv wird man darauf hingewiesen, dass sich jede Person einzeln von der Familie registrieren muss. Kontrolliert wird dies anschliessend jedoch nicht. Dann lässt man sich aber mit der Bestellungsaufnahme viel Zeit, obwohl wir ja angehalten sind, uns zu beeilen mit dem Essen. Es wird mehrmals nachgefragt, was wir denn schon wieder bestellt hätten und dann wird das Essen doch falsch gebracht. Der Glas Wein wird einfach eingeschenkt, ohne die Flasche zu zeigen. Das Kindermenu für Kleinkinder wird auf grossen heissen Erwachsenentellern gebracht. Ein kleiner Löffel ist im ganzen Restaurant nicht zu bekommen, so müssen die Kleinkinder mit grossen Suppenlöffeln aus für sie riesengrossen heissen Tellern essen. Mit der Rechnung wird man bereits während dem Essen konfrontiert. Zudem war das Essen völlig versalzen. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht von diesem Restaurant! Preis und Leistung stimmen gar nicht überein. Die Qualität des Essens sowie des Service' ist weit unter dem hohen Preisniveau!

Très déçus, une méconnaissance de ce qu'est du Gluten, on m'a dit que je pouvais manger des pâtes (penne) à la farine de blé. Car d'après la cuisine, une fois les pâtes bouille à 100° le gluten disparaît. J'en dirais pas plus, mais je déconseille ce restaurant pour les cœliaques.

I ordered perch fillets, 8 fillets (good quality) but swimming in butter, fries accompanied them but no salad or vegetables for a price of CHF 49.00. We should at least offer a choice of side dish (plain apples, rice, etc.) as well as a different cooking method so that the meal can be a little more dietary.

As outdoor dining and drinks are finally allowed again in Switzerland, we waited in line on a sunny afternoon to get a table in Café Bellagio's terrace. After being seated, we were given a piece of paper with a barcode and was told that each person needed to scan & register, before taking our orders. We tried, but the barcode led to a third party website, and an app (Spcial Pass) needed to be downloaded on your smartphone. As the waiter returned, we infomed him that the barcode doesn't seem to work correctly as it is asking us to download an app. He said that the Social Pass app is necessary for contact tracing registration in order to be served. I politely explained that we do not download third party apps on our phone, but we would gladly provide our names and numbers on a paper registry. The waiter rudely said that if we do not have the app, we cannot be served. He also added that it is required by the law. I tried to clarify with him that while the law requires us to provide our contact information in resstaurants, it does not endorse or specify the use of any particular app. Furthermore, our research shows that the Social Pass app is a third party app developed by a private person to faciliate an establishment's collection of client data. To be clear, it has neither connections to nor endorsement from the Federal Office of Public Health. After a small argument, we were still refused to be served and decided to go somewhere else for drinks. 50 meters away, a lakeside bar welcomed us without the need for the Social Pass app . Note: Even if we agreed to use the app, it was impossible to download as my phone was out of space and my friend's was a work phone (I also explained this to the wiater). In other establishments, pen and papers are still used. Remember, not everyone own or carry smartphones, and providing personal information to a third party application (not the restaurant) should always be at the client's discretion.

Mais la terrasse est ouverte côté lac et aucune carte avec une mention. Hyper désagréable. A 10 h du matin on me dit de revenir à partir de 15 h. Mais ce sûr que je ne vais pas y revenir. The food is okay, nicely prepared and reasonable for the price. But the service is not worthy of a 5 star hotel. The tablecloths have holes in them, a paper drinks menu serves as a placemat and I only know the menu from a snack bar. Chic restaurant (great piano in the large room 😍) in a nice setting by the lake, reason for my 3 stars..good presentation of the dishes..perch fillet was good nothing more but the rubbery beef aiguillette..here's the chef missed his meat.the waiters provide decent service but too slow to serve the dishes..they lacked Italian sympathy which is what I expected given the name of the restaurant..the price is quite expensive for what you get there eat and drink so I might go back for a coke on the terrace but not to eat 😑 the waiters all wore masks 😷 well done 👍

Dit was echt een super-lunch in Bellagio. Vlakbij het meer van Geneve; dus een prachtig uitzicht. En een hartelijke verwelkoming door Michael die echt alles, maar dan ook alles deed om het aangenaam te maken voor ons. Eten was ook verrukkelijk (ik nam de rundsburger) en ook mijn disgenoten waren enthousiast. Een echte aanrader dus - die ook qua prijs zeer goed meeviel, voor toch een dure stad als Montreux en een duur land als Zwitserland.

Zalige plek langs het meer - neem de menu: kleine maar lekkere porties met koffie en water voor 5cfh extra, idem voor een glas wijn. Vandaag was het gazpacho van amandelen en baars in blanke boter saus. Bij de koffie krijg je nog 3 kleine cakejes. Mijn complimenten voor Michael, onze garçon.

Restaurant choisi sur le pouce avec le passeport gourmand. Accueil pro mais pas très chaleureux. Lieu agréable, jolie table. Attente légèrement longue avant la proposition d’un apéritif alors que la salle était quasi vide. Jolie carte, nous avons très bien mangé, plats savoureux et très bien présentés. Le dessert était particulièrement délicieux. Ils ont également une très belle carte des vins.Seul bémol, le service: le serveur était probablement mal luné ce jour là, et donc particulièrement froid. En revanche, une serveuse qui débutait, était très aimable et pleine de bonne volonté. Mais celle ci était rabaissée publiquement par ledit serveur ce qui nous a mis mal à l’aise. Au moment de demander l’addition, celle ci nous est donnée sans la réduction faite du passeport, nous le signalons de suite et avons droit à une réflexion du genre « ha ben je peux pas deviner que vous aviez le passeport si vous le sortez pas dès le début » alors que ceci avait été très bien précisé lors de la réservation.
