Excellent food, nice atmosphere, very good service.

This is my 2nd time @Afghan Anar, it is the best Halal restaurant in town I loved it, the food is good, except for the meet fingers appetizer was too salty.. other than that, the service was great, and ambience was amazing. Definitely recommend it.

This place is TOTALLY NOT FOR AFGHANS. The food is not authentic afghani food. They only have few options and all of them are not a real afghan food. The PRICES are way too HIGH! How come you get charged 80 for just two people. The food was leftover and we didn’t eat it at all. Not a real place! Save your trip and money go somewhere else!

Totally not for Afghan people the mantu and kabuli palwau which taste really not good and the price are really high as Afghan I recommend you to not go to this place you will regret it

Just didn't meet my expectations... They have only 2 vegetarian main dishes. Their Mezze plate is good, yet nothing mindblowing, for two people they serve one big plate to share and charge 37.- (for me it just wasn't worth the price).

I do not recommend at all! I changed my reservation from 18.00 (5 people) to 18.30 (4 people) two days prior to our visit. I spoke to a real human male. All confirmed. We arrive at 18.30 and were told that there is no reservation. We were supposed to be there at 18.00. Ummm. No apology for their screw up. The place was 3/4 empty. I was told by the greeter that it wasn't her fault. No attempt at first to simply seat us at a table. I mean, we were not a party of 10! We were then given a corner cushioned spot in the corner. Not good for eating. Finally got a table. The service was very slow. The entrees were overpriced and mainly rice. The limited red wine list started at CHF 70/bottle. The saving grace was a very nice server. Otherwise, unless you are a huge rice fan, not worth it

The food is great with fair prices. The atmosphere inside and outside is very relaxed and it is also close to the city center. Fazal the waiter is a very personable person who brings excellent service. I come back every week!👍

The staff at Hottingerplatz was friendly. The prices are way too high for what you get. Especially since the little meat was very tough and served lukewarm.

Very tasty food - the starter platter is a highlight, interesting juices - definitely try the pomegranate juice.

We ordered the entire menu and shared it between five people: all of the foods tasted amazing, however some of the dishes did not seem satisfying if they are ordered as a main dish. The atmosphere outside was very relaxing despite one of the lamps that was a bit too blinding and the eventual mosquito bite.

Afghan Anar quality, as you would expect from Limmatplatz. Beautiful, new location now near the Kunsthaus. As always, the food was excellent, the service was very quick and extremely friendly. We'd love to come back!

The safran ice tea and Mantu with pumpkin is so good! Highly recommend.

Newly opened at Hottingerplatz. The garden is perfect on a warm summer evening. Food tastes good. The mezze plate is unbeatable, better than Lebanese.

Beautiful location with lots of loving details, both in the furnishings and in the food - top taste! It's worth a visit!!!
