The worst cappuccino in Geneva - huge cup, too hot, looks like water with a bitter taste of burnt beans. And without asking me they added a chocolate powder on top!🤬

I love this place!! The atmosphere, the dishes, the drinks, the welcome... Everything is top notch.

Delicious food in a very pleasant setting!

Went here for dinner to try out their vegetarian options. The restaurant can be reached by walking down a couple of stairs from street level. We sat at a table which, on one side, had a wooden bench, which built the main window. This seat is rarher hard and not comfortable for longer times. There are also normal tables with chairs. The food, we ordered their tacos and a vegi burger, tasted very good. The food has been prepared in advance and is warmed up before being served. The sweet potatoes served with the burger were a bit hard and dry. The food is fully priced in our opinion.. Overall, a good experience and would go back in the future, but we were told that the restaurant will close end feb 2024.

Tasty and colorful dishes, 100% vegan, but difficult to choose between all the fantastic desserts! Very pretty, clean and quiet place.

Honestly the food is terrible, it's the first time in my life that I eat vegan food which is this bad. It's beautifully served so it looks great but the taste is just awful. It's just not balanced, and has very awkward taste that's irritating. Very disappointed, to be avoided.

Absolutely delicious and beautiful vegan dishes. Both food and drink were delightful. Not easy for anyone to imagine and then execute somewhat sophisticated vegan food but ALIVE does it extremely well. Great job 👏👏👏

We always take our dogs with us and you would expect they would be allowed in a vegan bar/restaurant, but they were not. What a shame, especially with already the lack of vegan / plant based places in Geneva.

The Golden Latte was especially nice! I try these everywhere and they just nailed it. They use soy milk and I think it’s a perfect combination.

This was the perfect cafe! After a very stressful travel experience, and walking in the rain, we found this vegan cafe that fit our needs perfectly. My partner is Gluten Free, and the options were clearly marked for him. The atmosphere is very nice, calm, cozy, and beautiful with plants everywhere. The food was delicious. Would recommend!

Very pleasant place offering totally vegan, organic and local food. On site or to take away, Alive has a wide choice of savory dishes and very tasty brunches, as well as pastries, tarts, hot drinks and juices (made to order).

First time in this establishment which I couldn't wait to try. Several different dishes for lunch, I opted for the kale salad which I unfortunately found very bland, I think it lacked a sauce to make it tasty. It was written with fondant butternut squash, I didn't feel it at all. They were tiny, very thin strips, impossible to find the taste or texture. I was disappointed, especially since the price of the dishes was not cheap. I really appreciate that it’s homemade, local, it’s great, but I wasn't convinced...

Imagine going out to eat it at Alive, you have a bad reaction, you call the 'restaurant' panicked because this never happened in your entire life (despite eating to loads of vegan places and regularly drinking kombucha), the manager starts patronising you and telling you to calm down arrogantly over the phone without apologising. Obviously that makes you even more angry, but then they try to twist the situation by accusing YOU of insulting them when all you did was express your discontent. Then when you write a bad review, they publicly respond revealing all sorts of personal details that you shared over the phone regarding the food indigestion to try humiliate you (hence why I deleted the review) and they threaten you. Look at their answers to negative reviews in general. No matter what happened, your pettiness responding to customers would put me off your place anyway regardless of the review itself. I find the ethics of this place disgusting, just like their food. I kindly wish you to learn about customer service. I won't engage with you anymore or read your responses so no need to try victimising yourself further. It's extremely rare I write bad reviews but when I do, there's certainly very good reasons. Also don't assume and try to involve my mother in any of these communications, she had nothing to do with any reviews or emails whatsoever. Here's a copy for 'your community' to see one of your responses to my review: You and your mother are simply pathetic. Deleting and rewriting your reviews does not help the community. It has been now more than a week that this issue is going on. As we kindly and politely tried to explain you, your mother did not support the Kombutcha that is a fermented drink. You should better advise your mother to stop sending us insulting emails that I reserve the right to reproduce. Your attitudes to both is simply ridiculous. Moreover, the only bad reaction that YOU had is shouting insults over the phone to our staff, it has nothing to do with our food but with your education. The owner.

Honestly be very careful of this place. i have been vegan for several years and never did I have such bad reaction after eating in a restaurant. The owner is so rude and unapologetic. Also reading their response to previous negative reviews, it seems like they are used to deflect responsibility, being sassy and try to humiliate unhappy customers. Obviously this is just my opinion ^^

Healthy, Colorful and Tasty vegan food. Wonderful cozy dining space. I loved everything. Healthy, colorful and delicious vegetarian food (oh! By the way, there’s iced coffee!) A high-ceiling, bright, modern and comfortable space, Love it! Love it!

Very nice place with extremely delicious food. It's a shame that a service man wasn't having his day during our visit and thus spoiled the overall experience a little. If it weren't for his arrogant behavior I would definitely give it 5 stars. Worth visiting 🌱👍🏼

it was unbelievable delicious and i’ve had the most amazing cheesecake ever! still dreaming about it! highly recommend this place! bravo!!! amazing work!!!

Food beautifully presented, good/generous amount of food per dish, and above all: very freshly made! Service informal but fast enough. Friendly and cool atmosphere. Plus: air conditioning is rare and precious, in Summer, in Geneva!! Summers are becoming so damn hot in this town. And it's open on Sundays!! (Until a bit before 6pm). I think it closes on Mondays and/or Tuesdays, as it's open during the whole weekend. At 3pm, when the 2 of us arrived for lunch, there was no more "brunch/lunch" menu, but it was still possible to get this. Delicious and wonderful. It's really not that pricey, for the quality is offers. It's hard to eat variety and fresh food and a considerable quantity of food in Genève without paying almost double.

I was surprised to see that there is no table service given the prices on the menu. The dish tasted bland and the furniture on the terrace was damaged. The coffee isn't the best either. In short, I found this establishment expensive and without any real strong points.

Very good vegan restaurant. It's not cheap, but we eat well. The matcha latte not bad but nothing more. Self-service water would be desirable, especially since there are enough people who take paid drinks without it.

I very much like the vibe of the cafe and the staff is always extremely friend. In the past I’ve tried the avocado toast, which was very delicious as well as the banana bread and the cheesecake, both of which I was not 100% convinced of (banana bread a bit tasteless and the cheesecake could have been a bit creamier). Overall, I will nevertheless continue to go there and just order the savoury options.

Great all-vegan cafe! There are cakes, cookies, croissants and savory dishes. The avocado toast is highly recommended.

The setting: natural and refined, you feel really good there. Light tones which make the place very pleasant, to spend a moment of relaxation or even to find creative inspiration ☆ 5/5 The service: friendly and smiling, but no table service, too bad ☆ 4/5 The presentation: beautiful presentation which delights the eyes and the taste buds. Fine and delicate for pastries and the cups are generously filled ☆ 5/5 The tasting: today, I note on a breakfast taken on site. Banana bread in individual cake portions is an original idea, but I think it detracts from the texture by making it drier than if it were served in slices. The taste and flavors are delicious. The pastries, croissants and pain au chocolat, are, in my opinion, overcooked and therefore dry and crumbly. We don’t find the texture of the French croissant ☆ 4/5 The wallet: $$$ no table service, the portions of the pastries are not very generous, although we are into fresh and vegan products, I still find the prices a little high ☆4/5 My favorite ❤️: the coffee has a very good aroma

What an absolute find of a Vegan cafe right opposite the lake. Very friendly & helpful staff if you are ever stuck in Geneva like we where please pay it a visit.

Delicious pastries, a real treat!!! Lots of people on Sunday lunchtime so you have to be patient. Try it without delay, the dishes are as beautiful as they are good. Special mention to the carot cake which is Exceptional

Excellent vegan restaurant opposite Baby Plage des Eaux Vives. The two managers: Gilles and Sébastien are very welcoming, very smiling, Very good quality food and very very well presented 👍. Very welcoming place with cushions at the bottom. We feel at home. Very pleasant decoration. Warm welcome reserved for customers. I highly recommend it 😉

The food is excellent, the atmosphere is great, everything was perfect.

Fresh and creative cuisine in an airy space decorated with Zen Bobo. Table service is absent and is hidden behind the notion of the “concept” (sic): Order and pay at the counter. Too bad because the food is interesting. This is the rationalization of human resources management where we are increasingly asking the client to do the work.

Excellent vegan restaurant un Eaux-Vives in Geneva. The dishes are beautiful to see and delicious to eat. It is a creative and refined cuisine, a real pleasure for the eyes and the palate. I highly recommend it for vegans and non-vegans!

Offering vegan burgers when we can't cook potatoes! The fries were obviously reheated. (waiting for half an hour in an uncrowded establishment - Saturday 6 p.m.). Bland and uninteresting burger.

It was delicious ! Between the burger and the vegetable ravioli, a real explosion of flavor in the mouth! Not to mention the desserts, the choice was difficult but without regret, the carrot cake a real delight, and above all gluten-free, vegan and without added sugar! 🥰😊 Small downside, the quantity of the vegetable ravioli is a little light, we are left hungry, maybe add 2...

Ideal address for vegan gourmands. Whether it's the meal or the cake or the homemade drinks, we're easily tempted. The downside is the service time, 22 min to get a piece of cake to take away even though there was only one person in front 🤷‍♂️

Honestly I didn't expect much, since it looked like every other vegan restaurant you encounter in the cities across Europe. But I must say I was positively surprised by dish we ordered and the desserts were really tasty as well!

Very nice place with delicious vegan food. I pop in there from time to time. Portions are big and presentation is beautiful. Me and my friend we had a burger and it was delicious and Veeeeeery filling 🙂. Macha latte is one of the best I tried and they have good selection of vegan deserts. Carrot cake was very nice however I still prefer slightly non vegan option 😜

It is seriously my favorite restaurant/cafe in Geneva. The vibe is really nice, good light and with sufficient space (great for working too). The food and drinks are delicious. You have to try the weekend brunch! is a must. Everything is very tasty and healthy. I also love the staff. Everyone is always kind. Gilles is particularly very kind, always with a very welcoming smile.

Wow, what an absolute gem in the heart of Geneva. I can honestly say this is probably the best vegan breakfast I have ever had. The tofu croissant was delicious and very flavourful. The oat milk latte and kombucha was also exceptional. Our server was very helpful and warm. An absolute must for vegans in Geneva!

The prices are excessive! 27 chf to eat a little vegetables and rice and be hungry when you come out... The vegetables were good.

The best place in Geneva to eat healthy, gluten free and vegan. I shared the Alive burger and Avocado Toast with my husband for lunch and we were amazed by the flavors of both dishes! Highly recommended!

Vegan restaurant at the top!! We came to eat with friends and everything was perfect. The choice of menu is varied and innovative! The endive tatin is a real treat, I recommend it even if you are not Vegan.

However, equating parents who dare to take their children out, let them laugh and play, and who have the misfortune of not keeping them glued to tablets to people without embarrassment and poorly brought up represents the height of societal intolerance and decline. of humanism. That a young woman clearly under construction, obsessed with her own well-being and her pilates classes, allows herself to give her opinion, it's democratic. But for the restaurant to respond by stupidly thanking you for the compliments says a lot about the morals and philosophy of the establishment. The food is not good. I am a fan of vegan food being vegetarian for 9 years. The dishes are creative but lack flavor. Even the potatoes wedge lacked flavor. Will not come here again nor recommend it.

Do not be fooled by the looks! The dishes seemed colorful and good but the taste was not. What a disappointment!!!! I left half of my dish- wedges were hard, dry and tasteless, burger worst than the wedges. Definitely NOT reccommend this.

Food is okay , avocado on toast is overpowering with no onions or mix salad . Avocado isn’t seasoned . Not worth the price could do much better .

I really like the place and the concept of the café, too bad I don't live nearby. Very friendly and friendly staff, they let you relax in the café without ever giving the impression that you are disturbing if you ever want to work on your computer or something else.

Really one of the best vegan places I’ve ever been to. The burger was very delicious, the patty, the buns and the caramelized onion were so good. I’m definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu. It’s really good!

Great place with vegan food, excellent drinks and yoga classes. My burger came with a bun that was like a crisp, really hard and impossible to bite through! For the price, this is not acceptable. Space is beautiful and great location, hence 3 stars

Large, modern comfortable seating and lots of healthy vegan food and drinks to choose from. Lovely cakes. You pay for and collect your drinks/food tray at the counter and are then requested to bring it back there. Might be more efficient st busy times to have racks people can pop their trays into, although this would detract from the aesthetic. Friendly staff.

Only one person was managing the entire cafe. Taking orders and serving and preparing drinks. So obviously it was a long que and long waiting period. Food wasn't up to our taste. Not a great variety of dishes and carrot cake was really bad ! Raw and flavourless.
