Amorino in Luzern

I don't know if the person didn't know how to make or if we were abused, but the ice cream we've got was not the same we had at other's Amorinos. Neither like the picture. It was a disappointment for my Kids that already knew Amorinos and had a " withered flower".

Very expensive, small portions, unfortunately an inadequate toilet (for the price). Personally, sorry no thanks. Response after 3 months confirms the owner's self-motivation. There is room for improvisation. Good luck.

Excellent quality. But it doesn't have as many options as the stores in Italy.

First evening stroll in Lucerne near the lake, we had a craving for ice cream. A lot of folks were lined up outside this shop so we decided to eat here. This was the first night in Lucerne so we did not know how famous Amorino was, also later discovered this is a chain and they are in most big cities in Europe. We didn’t think it would be that good but boy were we wrong, it was the best ice cream I had ever tasted!! We got the signature gelato and it was delicious we chose 3 flavors strawberry, chocolate, and mint chocolate chip with a mango macaron on top it was an amazing dessert so delicious I would definitely recommend this chain!!!!

Listing said open till 10:30 pm. Showed up at 8:15 pm. Doors were shut. Misleading information.

Actually one of the best in Lucerne out of 7 tested. Helpful, prompt service. Had pistachio (as recommended by the waiter), chocolate and Baileys.

The ice cream is very tasty … the price is extremely high .. even for Switzerland .. I ask for whipped cream and the portion was very small .. any way the ice cream selection are good and the quality is very good ..

Something else. Brioche, crepes and waffles with ice cream. But very, very expensive and tastes great. One time is enough.

This was fantastic Gelato. Really, really, really good. Place is very cute and the service was fantastic. I had two flavors and both where utterly delicious. Perfect blend and taste not being too much towards the sweet side or too much the other way. I had to go back for seconds and I have never done that at a Gelato or Ice Cream place. My partner had two different flavors and loved them both also. We have one night left in Luzern and now must stop by tomorrow - Ha.

The place is dirty, we were ignored despite being the only customers in the shop. 2 small cups and 15.80 CHF later, all of the flavors were too sweet. I expected a nice sour kick in passion fruit, but nothing happened. « Frutti Rossi » actually only taste strawberry. Other options ? Yes, I would recommend to walk a lil further towards the Lion and visit Gelateria dell’Alpi. Try it and see the difference. Plus they are super friendly.

Expensive prices for the quality. There are similar or better stores with a lower price, such as Movenpick, but it has a bonus.

Lovely tasting and beautifully presented gelato! I loved the pistachio and the chocolate flavours. Note: one has to first queue up, decide on the options, pay and then you get to taste and choose your final flavours.

Excellent stop for an ice cream. A huge range of varieties to choose from. Their crepes or pancake with Nutella are scrumptious. Not to go without mentioning their cones with Rose shaped ice cream is a treat to the eyes and mouth. Vert friendly service. The hot chocolate was a real treat!

I wish it was possible to give “ 0 stars” for this place. There was a piece of human nail in my child’s ice cream. I went back in to tell and instead of being apologetic they questioned us! Even though I didn’t ask for another ice cream (never happening form here again) or money back ,the staff was rude! We were so disgusted at that moment my kid threw the piece of nail immediately away. That’s why there is no picture!!! I wish I could have taught of taking a photo or video then. My family loved this place until the incident. What a shame!

You won’t believe what happened to me! I am allergic with milk so Andrea helped me. However, one of the three flavors we pocked I didn’t like, she came and asked me how is everything after she saw that I only eat a little pit. Tye crazy part is were she changed my cup with a whole new one right when I told her that I didn’t like it for free. What a way to show customer how much they care about us! It is a mind blowing. Great service, Great heed, and Great smile. Thank you and see you definitely next time ;)

You should definitely try vanilla icecream with black pepper

This ice cream is delicious and they serve it in the shape of a rose. It looks awesome and tastes amazing👌🏻👌🏻 I took chocolate with salted caramel👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

The gelati are good to very good. The service has potential for improvement

Large portions, which definitely justifies the seemingly high price! The waitress had little interest in us customers and seemed very unmotivated.

ATTENTION TOURIST TRAP! It's understandable that the ice cream costs a little more at this location than elsewhere. But CHF 6.10 (six francs and ten centimes!) for a small ball in a mini cup is simply unbelievable. The ice cream tastes average and no – despite the price, it has no gold particles. The extra charge does not go towards the friendliness of the staff - it is very below average.

Was wonderfully delicious! I enjoyed a flowery ice cream cone. I would recommend the lime basil with coconut.

Good ice cream with an interesting flower-petal assembly method. The only issue is eating it fast enough before it melts.

Pistacho Gelato was creamy and flavourful which was good but had freezer burn (i.e. ice follicles). I provided this feedback and the staff was nice to provide me with a new but smaller cup of hazelnut gelato but that too had freezer burn. Overall, this is very disappointing considering the higher price point of the gelato.

Nice idea with rose ice cream, I like it. Also great that they have my favorite flavor with mint and dark chocolate! But the price is too high. A “ball” 6.20… I've been there twice and both times the employee wasn't particularly friendly. Ice cream is okay as a take-away, but it's far too narrow to sit there.

The L' Irresistable (the waffle and ice cream) was Amazing!!! The ice cream was awesome too. Waffle was slight crisp outside and soft inside & you get to choose 3 ice cream flavors. The ice cream feels light. Highly recommend if you are in Lucerne

Pistachio & Hazelnut: Delicious. Favorite so far. Chocolate: Not bad. But not chocolate-y enough and it's not sticky enough as a gelato. Best part is you can choose as many flavors you want as long as the cup can handle it. Staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were affordable.

A typical Amorino, whether Basel, Zurich, Geneva or Lucerne, tastes good and the selection is the same as with all other Amorino.

Absolutely delicious and fun!! The worker helping us was so polite and she made our cones look beautiful. I believe it was worth the money for a fun treat that you don’t get every day. :D The lime and strawberry flavors were my favorite!! People can go elsewhere if they are going to complain about prices :)

Unfortunately the young saleswoman has been giving very little Glasé for the price for 2 months. The saleswomen used to be very correct, meaning they didn't insult the customers and gave very little glass for the money the customers paid. I would like to know how much Amorinos Glase costs per kilo and how many grams should be in a corresponding Glasé ball. I want to get the right amount for the money I pay.

Wonderfully beautiful gelateria in Lucerne. The staff is friendly and the coffee tastes wonderful. They offer vegan milk alternatives and also many vegan ice cream flavors. Unfortunately there are no places to sit in front of the Galteria, but the lake is right across the street, which makes this situation bearable.

Instead of just balls in a waffle - enjoyment and art are mega coordinated!

The best and most beautiful ice cream in Lucerne. The location is great, opposite the lake to the right of the Hotel Schweizerhof. Each ice cream on the waffle is decorated as a flower, which is visually very special. The quality of each flavor is excellent. The service is friendly and works really quickly, so there are hardly any waiting times.

Great ice cream. Only natural ingredients. The ice cream is not placed in balls, but rather creatively placed on the waffle like a flower.

Bad customer service. I don’t understand, the picture on the menu shows hot chocolate with whipped cream and macaroon with it. Mine was made without. After asking the girl who made it why is it without cream she said it will be additional cost for it! So why is it shown with it on the menu? And for the price of 6.60 CHF! I asked again so what’s on the picture then? And girl’s reply was “I don’t know what it is!” 😳🤷🏼‍♀️. Now I don’t even know how it supposed to be served, in order to claim my money back. Better ask how it comes before you see it on the menu picture since you won’t get what you expect

TOP ice cream parlor. We loved it, very good ice creams (the coffee one is as if you were having a real coffee; I have never tried vanilla ice cream like it). In addition to some very pretty ice creams, they are eye-catching
