I was at Badi Auhof for the first time today and I'm thrilled! A very nice young lady at the checkout gave me a friendly welcome, the bathers were all deeply relaxed, probably because there were only a good 130 people in the bath at the beginning of September in the afternoon. The green areas are very well maintained, the large trees provide plenty of shade, the sanitary facilities have a 1960s feel, but are clean and functional. That's how I like it and would love to come back. I think it's particularly great that, depending on the weather and how cold you feel, you can still enjoy the outdoor pool until the end of September! The food is so delicious! (had a chrispy chicken burger) beats many a restaurant. Otherwise a very friendly, clean, beautiful and international pool. Just on Sat/Sun and Wednesdays on hot days there were a lot of people/children. I don't understand why the staff is being bullied here, it's unimaginable what kind of nerves of steel they need with the amount of indecent guests, and this in extreme heat!

Apart from the not very nice gentleman at the cash desk entrance, the swimming pool is quite ok. There are 2 barbecue areas and benches where you can eat comfortably. Even in the shade in the afternoon. It's also nice at the barbecue area because it's a little outside... behind the men's locker room. The Ford area is extremely well attended. The swimming pool is overcrowded with people. A little too much for me. But understandable on such a beautiful Sunday.

Nice swimming pool. I think it's a shame that the bushes with thorns are there next to the children's pool. Children can get injured and plastic swimming aids can also break just because of these bushes. There would definitely be another solution that would be good for everyone.

Super unfriendly staff in the restaurant! You get the feeling that they would prefer you not to order anything at all. Water for coffee...? You can get this somewhere at the Lavabo. Really great!!! Luckily there are the lifeguards who are very friendly. Water great! When it is cold, the water is heated. Very clean. To be fair, I have to say that the kiosk staff also do a good job. Auhof outdoor swimming pool, Schwamendingen, actually an architectural delight from the late 1950s. Despite the modernization of the pools, the Gisel building is still clearly visible with its design language and (a lot of) exposed concrete. Plus the labels in the style design of the late fifties/early sixties. Lots of space, not overcrowded even during the summer holidays on (very) hot days, lots of shaded areas. Very friendly staff, accommodating. Kiosk/bistro surprisingly varied offerings, friendly service even when it's busy. Price-performance ratio OK! Ideal outdoor pool for families with children. Children's playground. Recommended, multicultural audience, parking spaces available, better to go there by bike or public transport!

The lifeguards are very unfriendly and unhelpful. They don't give real money but instead give vouchers. The slide is very dirty and is rarely cleaned. The fries are not well prepared and not well seasoned.

Nicely equipped but poorly managed. The worst open swim facility in Zurich I’ve been to. If you want to SWIM, better choose another place. There are 3 swimming pools: 2 for kids / hanging out adults and one for swimmers. But the last (big) pool has just 2 lanes for swimmers and plenty of space where kids and adults still hang out (idk why they decide not to go to one of the 2 smaller pools). Kids are constantly hanging on the lines’ separators, occasionally kicking you while you’re swimming. While I was there, staff members walked by millions of times but never told kids to stop disturbing others. Also, there is a really weird fence separating the pool from the grass field. It looks like someone donated a fence to this organization and managers didnt find a better decision but to build it where visitors the least expect to see a fence.

Bad Auhof is clean and beautiful. We feel very comfortable there.
