We had a corporate After Work Drinks event here with ~40 people and it was fantastic. The anti-pasta was top notch and we were taken care of by friendly, capable staff. The drinks and location were great but the staff made the atmosphere very unpleasant. We arrived and saw few people seated and no one greeted us so we sat down and later the waiter seemed very annoyed at us when he came to take our order. He came with the drinks and much later came over with coasters for our glasses and angrily gave them to us as if he was my grandma and I was ruining her nice table! Mind you, he forgot the coasters, not us! He did not offer the regular nuts that the other tables had with their drinks either. Just before we finished our drinks he came and asked us to pay supposedly because he was going on a break, mind you we were on vacation and could have easily ordered another round! We felt as if we were not wanted and I suspect many felt the same because the bar was almost empty at 7pm on a Friday in August!! The rest of the bars were buzzing with costumers. Not worth it.

Awesome spot and one of the best bars in Basel, great ambiance, incredible staff and the drinks are excellent. I haven`t been here in a while due to Covid, but it felt great to be back. Had an impromptu birthday drink here with friends and the staff was great and reserved me basically half the space so I could accommodate about 30 people. Will definitely be back again for a casual drink with friends and also for private events. Highly recommend it and a great spot for the Basel expats (like myself) to meet other expats to socialize and network. Staff and management is great and constantly aiming to please--thanks Claudio for making the last minute booking and being so flexible and helpful.
