Bistro Riffraff in Zürich

Cozy but stylish place for an aperitif and to discuss something in peace. I didn't eat anything there. But a look at the menu: It would be positive to mention that there are also vegan alternatives on the menu, but more critical is whether it still makes sense to offer tuna in 2024 with total overfishing. In general, there is a lot of meat (and marmot is almost absurd) and fish on the menu compared to the healthy and ecologically acceptable alternatives. But I didn't judge the food because I haven't eaten there (yet) or in a very long time.

Always top lunch menus - We come here almost every day. The price-performance ratio is very convincing and the food is extremely tasty. Menu salad or soup are also always included. And then the freshly baked bread... We love it.

Haven't been here for a long time. In any case, the renovation is good. The bistro is homely. Good atmosphere. Gladly again.

Great location, excellent food, very warm hosts, pleasant guests.. small, clear menu with changing daily specials, great lunch menus... The game menu in autumn is very tasty. And the bread is delicious! always a pleasure :-) Update 10/2023: the wild selection is also excellent this year.

A discovery. Ate in the garden. Several menus to choose from, mega fair prices. The bread is homemade and the shouting service is very nice, asking if you would like more. Overall package great.

The menu is ingenious and put together with simple, tasty and traditional dishes from Switzerland (e.g. Hacktätschli, Älplermagronen, etc.), complemented by delicious curries and tapas. There are new daily specials to discover every day. Good value for money.

This cozy place restaurant has left the best impressions on me! They are Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation and the best service alcohol cocktail drinks, wide wine list and workers. I recommend to you all. Refreshing beers and little snacks on your way to the cinema enjoy the very nice atmosphere with a very kind service I will definitely go back no I don't need to watch a movie which I did in the first time but just to have a little snack and a beer.

Nice restaurant or as it is called bistro! Nice and cozy to drink coffee, have breakfast, eat and have drinks. The food is fantastic!!! From the classic nut salad to tuna with Japanese cucumber salad. Local products and high-quality seafood products are used. The kitchen does almost everything itself and conjures up delicious menus. There are also great specialties in the game season. Insider tip. Very nice staff and price performance is very good! Definitely worth a visit!

Great offer and super friendly everyone in service.....

We uncovered this bar at random because we were initially headed to the international beer bar when we saw it was quite small and crowded. Bistro Riffraff was right across the street from it, seemed like a cosy place so we decided to give it a try. The prices are reasonable for Zürich (7.50 a pint of beer) and the staff was really nice! Always smiling and very efficient. All in all it's a small cosy place that's great if you want to have a few drinks with friends 🍻
