I was there today and sat at the bar. The furnishings were great and the store was full. However, I didn't like the very loud environment. The noise level for me was very, very high due to the visitors talking too loudly. My tip would be to install the sound absorption panels on the ceiling. Would probably be good for the employees too.

I came to Bohemia shortly after 1 p.m. today and wanted to have a spontaneous lunch. The lady at the bar greeted me, but when after 10 minutes no one came to my seat (counter by the window), I left disappointed. I actually always like coming here when I'm in the area, a shame for one of my Lkeblingscafés in Zurich...! 😪

There was quite a large worm in my chicken paillard dish and I had not even eaten a fourth of the plate when I noticed it and alerted the server. She took the plate away and the restaurant still charged me FULL PRICE for the expensive dish. I received a complementary dessert which would cost around 10.-, so that was not at all fair. The servers were generally quite snobbish and unfriendly and it took over 50min for us to receive our food. I do not usually leave reviews but I definitely recommend avoiding this shabby place.

📝 Very interesting place for breakfast or brunch. Service was good and food was very good. We had to wait a bit too much at the entrance, I think the "check-in" process could be made more efficient. 🍴 You can order à la carte and they also have a few standard combos for brunch. I had an omelette made the way I wanted: very tasty, only just a little too spongy for me. Also hash browns and everything else was great. Cappuccino and juices were excellent. 📍 It's just right next to Kreuzplatz tram station, easily reached from Stadelhofen. Inside it's pretty cozy and actually quite busy/lively so there's a nice atmosphere. ☝🏼 You have to book in advance, at least for brunch on weekends. The place was packed.

My elderly mother treated herself to a cappuccino at Bohemia, she was charged 12 CHF for one cup and was rejected a cash payment. She was not provided with any menue (where she could have seen the price) and then was served the coffee without any spoon, she had to ask twice to get one, by the time she got one - the coffee was cold. That service does not live up to this price, although the coffee itself tasted very good according to my mother. I am wondering if my mother was fooled, being elderly and quite slow, with that price or if the coffee is really that expensive- both would be ridiculous

It doesn't need many words: harmonious ambience, great service and amazing food! Our Tomahawk saignant left nothing to be desired!

The service is unfriendly and inattentive. You wait at the table for 15 minutes and still have to ask for the card yourself at the counter. The staff seems arrogant. It's a shame, it used to be a good restaurant.

Been going to the Bohemia Restaurant for years. Great service and super team under Magdalena Filipovic. Great Sunday brunch. Dinner is not to be missed also.

Ambience in which you immediately feel at home with friendly and warm service. The place for an aperitif with friends or a date in a casual atmosphere. Delicious drinks and a tasty little menu. I really like it here.

Nicely decorated, nice service and great coffee

As always, we came as a small group to have brunch like practically every Sunday. The last time the food was portioned smaller than usual and when we wanted to sit down today (there was enough free space and no people waiting), Adel turned me away after 15 minutes. As a regular guest who has already brought so many guests with me, I expect different treatment!

Update (Jan 2024): Tried their Eggs Benedict which were amazing. I am generally a very harsh judge of Eggs Benedict, and even though they served it on a bagel instead of an english muffin, it was amazing in taste! Highly recommended! Awesome weekend brunch! A great selection of brunch options including muesli, omelettes, stulle( open faced sandwich), bagels, etc. We had the Havana Omelet, Vegi Stulle, English Breakfast and Cappuccinos. The food was excellent. The service was quick and friendly. The location is very well connected by public transport (bus, tram). The decor and setting was very old school, historical and interesting. Overall a very nice brunch experience. Would visit again!

A real Zurich scam in Züri bschiss! Chateaubriand for two “to share” with fries and salad 63.— p.p. Meat ok but arrived cut up a mini portion of fries and a salad for two to share. we ordered a portion of fries and a salad which we were billed separately 30 min without anyone taking care of us Our server had left Really awful

Food is ok however the service is very very bad.

We spontaneously stopped by Boehmia for coffee and cake during the week (but we recommend making a reservation for brunch on the weekends). The interior design makes you feel like you've been transported back to 20th century Paris and can enjoy a unique ambience! We had two coffees (they were ok) and a cheesecake (very tasty) and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is clean and there is access to the toilets for wheelchair users (wheelchair lift). Prices are a little higher but the price-performance ratio is completely fine due to the quality, service and ambience.

Three years later, we’re seeing price inflation (around 10-12% - which is understandable, prices rise) and brunch shrinkflation (which is not). A staple of mine was the Pacific Combo. The bread has been reduced. The cheese - which previously had Tête de Moine and something salty and white-like is now just the salty and white-one. The egg amount: less. The small pancakes: less. It’s quite a bare and spartan wooden board compared to the old days. You don’t even get a little chocolate or biscuit with the coffees any more! It’s just a bit disappointing. Getting hold of service is quite challenging at times - even when the place isn’t full. It’s the brunch equivalent of the managed decline of post-Brexit Britain. So sad. It’s stilll ok. It just really isn’t what it used to be. —- Originally, back in 2019, I wrote this —- I really like Bohemia, but I would say their breakfasts are their best offering in terms of food. Cocktails are da bomb. Done properly.

Fantastic cappuccino (and coffee) that was flavourful and a good way to start (wake up!) the morning. The menu was chock full of delicious options that makes one want to order everything! I got the platter that was overflowing with choices. The alpine cheese was nutty with fruity aftertaste and paired well with the breads, the marmalade too was great without being too sweet. The scrambled eggs are perfectly done, not too dry or wet. The pancakes were fluffy and well done, not overcooked or undercooked and paired deliciously with the banana and maple syrup (not pictured). The omelette and Sunnyside up are also great choices for smaller eaters.

January 2, 2023: Breakfast only until 11 a.m. - ridiculous for such a restaurant! June 30, 2023: Unfortunately I have to double. Price-performance lunch menus are no longer comprehensible, even for ZH conditions. Pasta Bolo chf 28.-, sorry you can't feel it anymore! December 8th, 2023 the prices have become even more expensive and the portions are of course smaller... You have definitely lost a long-time regular customer. Which you don't seem to care about anyway. Adios rip-off ✌🏽

Relatively expensive, no chance without a reservation, coming late costs 50CHF per person and you get a "timeslot" which is over and you have to leave. Food was delicious, yes, all in all together with the conditions etc. there is better...

Worst service ever! The waiters are complete ignoring the guests. At the reception you have to wait forever until they seat you at a table. At the table we had to wait 30 min until we could order. Not coming again

Nice atmosphere - you can chat undisturbed in the booths - and fine food at reasonable prices. Unfortunately my pulp was a bit tough, but otherwise you always eat very well.

This restaurant was looked up for a traditional egg and bacon type breakfast, what we had was most delicious. The service was excellent, everyone friendly and in good spirits. Highly recommend this restaurant if travelling or in area.

We sometimes drive past this place and seeing the crowds sitting outside on sunny days, wanted to have brunch here. We managed to get a reservation for Sunday brunch by booking almost 3 weeks in advance.. The service was pretty fast and friendly and it is nice to have cooked breakfast once in a while. They have eggs Benedict with bagel, omelettes, pancakes, "Stullen" (open sandwiches). The portions are big, you won't go hungry. I ordered a vegi stulle and thought it had too much cottage cheese and too little avocado. The fried eggs had gone cold as well. The prices are a bit steep for breakfast at 28-29 CHF for plates with meat. All in all it was OK but next time I will probably stick to a cream cheese bagel at 8.5 CHF and coffee.

We were here for brunch. You definitely have to make a reservation, otherwise you won't get a table. The food was very good and in good portions (not too small). The healthy bowl was great in these hot days. The price is typically Zurich.

If you order a cold coffee and a milkshake coffee comes that costs 9.50chf... that's anything but a reason to come back. Unfortunately, it's not the first time something like this has happened in Bohemia.

The doorman who suppose to help you with a seat helpless, he show you the part of the bar where you can seat where it’s completely full,not even trying to help.

The food was very tasty and if you order tap water you get it for free. I recommend the Royal Bagel with Salmon and the regular Creamcheese Bagel. We waited about 50 minutes for our food, which was a shame and unfortunately my order was forgotten and I only got my order after 15 minutes, while my partner was already finished with hers... After eating I wanted to pay and the waitress knew that and went in and I couldn't get out... Finally had to get up and pay inside, which was a shame because we thought Bohemia was mega exclusive and very expensive.

The breakfast menu offers everything you could desire and is priced fairly. They have mimosas and interesting juices. I recommend the banana pancakes with chocolate sauce!

Bohemia is a restaurant located on Kreuzplatz, with good service and a very complete menu. It is almost always open and has an incredible chocolate cake with ice cream.

Bohemia is always a good restaurant. The food has a consistent quality level and the staff is friendly and helpful. We went for brunch and the Bagel Eggs Benedict was excellent, highly recommendable. The pancakes are always good and the same counts for their omelettes. If you go for dinner I highly recommend the spareribs. They are tasty, juicy and the right amount of seasoned. The only downside of Bohemia are the slightly high prices.

Young local service staff who have no idea how to deal with guests... they all use the same name. In a pub, of course, but I expect a different approach for this restaurant. Are new employees not instructed, or does it not matter? In my opinion it has to do with respect.

Perfect long, fine food especially the brunch, staff also very friendly. However, I recently discovered at a brunch with friends that there are exactly 2 options for people who follow a vegan diet: white beans and fries. I think this is a no-go for 2023 in such a well-known restaurant. The staff didn't really know anything about it either, not even the bread was vegan, and there was nothing marked on the menu. There are so many great options these days. This should definitely be improved, restaurants should also have a certain role model function.

Quality of the food is good and tasty. Quality of the coffee is okay. Service is sometimes a bit slow but with the great seats outside in summer that's not a problem ;) Unfortunately, many guests smoke outside, which spoils the atmosphere. The prices are also rather high. The music is much too loud in the evenings: you can barely hear what you're saying. That's why I deduct the two stars. (As a resident in the area, I can unfortunately also add that it's a shame that people always clean up loudly at night and really disturb the night's sleep (after 11 p.m.!). This probably can't be avoided (it's been going on like this for years) but still it has become a restaurant that I no longer want to support.)

Way too loud, the acoustics are terrible. Isn't there anything that can be done with noise insulation? When the staff removes or puts away the dishes there is a huge clatter and you can no longer understand your own words. The music is also often too loud. We don't feel comfortable in this very nice restaurant.

Cool bar and good food, also snacks etc., had some "platters" with aperitifs to drink with.

I've been going to Bohemia on and off for years, but recently I've noticed that the service and ambience have unfortunately deteriorated. The service staff give you the impression that you are not welcome, no smile, no friendly "Hello". The other day the place smelled so bad of stale alcohol that we almost felt sick. We weren't particularly sad that the opening hours were shortened. It's a shame that this actually nice restaurant has lost its good standard.

Great brunch in Seefeld. Lots of choice and delicious food. The prices are on the high side, but it's still worth it. In the back there are large tables with some privacy. Reservation is strongly recommended.

Brunch in a larger company; Tragic for the money you get here. Starting from a lack of parking spaces, to rather unfriendly staff, to below-average quantity, rather limited offerings and high prices. It should be mentioned that you have table service here and you get a few snacks on the table (NOT a buffet), I don't know how 3 croissants and 5 slices of stale bread are laid out for 6 people, but at least no one should be hungry here . The selection is also very limited, from boring salami to cheap ham to ready-made jam. For example, if you want various types of dried meat, roast beef, mortadella, soft cheeses, honey, Nutella, etc., you've definitely come to the wrong place. The most original are the avocado/tuna rolls. The often praised pancakes are no better than the ready-made ones from Aldi. It is also important to mention that all drinks must be ordered and paid for separately, which costs money. Guys, it's better to drive a few meters further out of town and visit a farmer's brunch or go to a bakery (Bachmann, Steiner, Tschirky etc.) and let yourself be pampered.

On weekends the music is so loud that you can no longer hold a conversation. Furthermore, the friendliness of the service has decreased dramatically. On our last visit, the waiter didn't even want our group of 5 people to pay for what we ordered individually. That's a shame, because the food and drinks were fine. Unfortunately, the bad increasingly outweighs the bad.

Been there for brunch and several times in the evening. The music in the evening gets louder and louder until it is no longer possible to have a conversation and you are completely overwhelmed by the bass. Unfortunately, the service has really decreased every time, you wait far too long, especially in the evening! Paying separately is only possible after a complaint from the waiter…

Both dinner and brunch/breakfast were very good. However, I think the coffee has room for improvement in terms of taste. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is mostly friendly and always prompt.

Beef Tartar was very delicious, whiskey sour looks amazing, but it didn’t taste well, it was very loud in the restaurant but in general this place is good for an after work drink.

A big and beautiful space to sit and enjoy a coffee or lunch. Their weekend brunch is also fabulous but be prepared for it to be crowded and sitting in close quarters. Wonderful for a quiet coffee in the morning and great energy and vibe for the weekend.

We spontaneously came up with the idea of ​​going to Bohemia for brunch. The nice lady Sofia at reception was able to organize a great place for us even though the restaurant was completely booked. Vicky's service was also courteous and super friendly. Thank you for allowing me to celebrate my son's birthday at Bohemia. It's definitely worth reserving here early😋

I came without a reservation, but saw from outside that there was space. I then received this with the request to leave again in an hour, as the next reservation was then. That was fine with me. Two minutes after ordering, the waitress came back and told me I had to leave immediately because the table was occupied. I didn't understand exactly why it happened so quickly and then said that I would rather be at another restaurant. The waitress informed me that this was no longer possible as I had already ordered. I was then allowed to eat my meal at a spot near the bar that had been created out of necessity.

We had two cold plates, fine fries. Food was good but had to ask for bread 3 times. Drinks delivery comb approx. 20 minutes after ordering. What you also have to say is that our service man has only been working there for 2 hours. The own house sauces BBC and tomato ketchup were super tasty. Very loud in the bar area and in the hall. This is my personal impression.

The Bohemia salad was “normal salad” for my taste and, together with the giant prawns, was very expensive. Unfortunately, the risotto was missing salt, which was difficult to fix with the empty salt shaker. The 200g of salmon is definitely based on the drained weight or earlier, after the grill it still feels like a good 100g. The atmosphere is very nice, with a great bar.
