Today, March 13, 2024. I sometimes get pastry from the Turkish from time to time, never their kabab. - The problem lies in the prices.....$$$ - They voluntarily and categorically refuse to display the price per gram of their pastry which is displayed in the window. They sell their sugar-filled pastries at the price of medicine!!! it's so expensive!!! - Each time, the price changes!!! and when I ask them to display at least the price per gram for information to the customer, the boss, a macho, uneducated, aggressive and poorly polite... imprisoned by his ego, yells at me!!! - The only power he believes he has is food that can be found everywhere... as a result, I decided to warn future customers. - In Switzerland, normally, prices must be displayed in windows for customers to see. The pastry is well placed in the window but never the price per gram, there is no price, nothing, zero... I bought a piece of Kunefe pistachio cake without any taste, I had to pay CHF 7.- instead of 4.- (the price almost doubled in a period of time!!) - and when I was shocked by the price, he told me not to buy it... with an authoritarian and extremely aggressive. I decided to put an end to it once and for all and stop enriching soulless human beings. We have returned to the new world where our actions are not counted. A word to the wise. I can easily do without it and live in good health without its dark energy food!

Kabab are no expensive industrial taste no politeness no hygiene.

Oh my, I cannot get enough of this kebab place! The falafel sandwich is incredible, the perfect amount of crunch of the falafel paired with the lettuce, tomato, and sauces! The seasoning is perfect. I come to Lausanne just for this place. The food is so delicious and reasonably priced. The people who work there are always so nice and kind and happy to serve us! Falafel sandwich is 10 CHF and they have some meal combos as well!

Quite good Kebab! Meat and veggies are tasty, but the bread could be tastier if heated on a grill (to make it crunchy) rather than in a microwave oven..

The products are fresh and the kebab is good. The problem is the lack of hygiene. The person who collected and touched the cash made the kebab (touched the food) with the same hand immediately afterwards without washing or disinfecting their hands. This is a serious breach of basic hygiene rules.

Some friends invited us to dinner and it was very good. A quiet restaurant. Good attention from the waiters and good quality of the products.

Some sauces are missing (Algerian cocktail) but it was very good only with white sauce. If you ask for more or less than a few they will do it. A negative point: meat and bread are heated in the microwave

Super good Durum, which does not stay on the stomach. Homemade sauces, a delight. Super friendly welcome, top hygiene.

Could be the best kebab in Lausanne, but is a little overrated, too bad the bread is industrial and reheated in the microwave... and also a shame that there is no room to eat on site. The best kebab is still Ali's Kebab located in Chauderon which makes everything homemade (bread, sauces, etc.) except the meat.

Before the semi-confinement, we used to regularly buy kebabs and stuffed eggplants there. Return this week for 2 eggplants to reheat at home. What a disappointment to see that there is almost no stuffing/meat left in it. In short, we ate almost vegan in the end! Even if it's fashionable, eating something that no longer has any taste is borderline. The price has not fallen. Disappointed, and not in a good way. Change of boss, by chance?

After years of hearing compliments after compliments about this kebab, I was delighted to go there to get my opinion. However, on paper, I couldn't understand such enthusiasm for this one because nothing on paper made it different from other kebabs. The spit is industrial like in all the other kebabs, the bread is, unless I'm mistaken, not homemade either. Anyway, I went there and to sum it up in one word: Overrated. We can't say it's bad, it's good but it's absolutely nothing exceptional and I can't understand such enthusiasm on the part of people. The pin is the same as everywhere else, industrial mixed pin. Bread heated in the microwave, the feeling of biting into a filet-o-fish is a shame. The vegetables are fresh. It’s nice that they offer 3 spiciness levels for the hot sauce. They also make a tomato sauce which is original, it was good. Too bad they put the sauce on the kebab and not in the bread before putting the rest. In 2 morses there is already more sauce and the rest of the kebab is dry. I also took the opportunity to taste the falafels, koftes and sarmas, everything was very good on that side. The young lady who took my order was very friendly and smiling. But coming back to the kebab, it's really overrated, identical to 99% of other kebabs, nothing that stands out from the rest. It's very standard and in no way deserves a reputation as the best kebab in Lausanne. There are other kebabs in Lausanne that make their own bread or even better their spit. They deserve this title.

Good kebab on the go..efficient, quick and plentiful..personally I like it when the meat is crispy but it does the job! Taken correctly

I have been going to this place for over 10 years now (with a few interruptions). The welcome is always warm. The place is clean, bright and the food is beautifully presented. By far the best kebab in Lausanne which stands out for its freshness and the quality of its ingredients.

The meat is industrial. The spit is not made by the owner and the bread is not even homemade. Heat in the microwave. Price increase. CHF 11.- instead of CHF 10.50.- 3 months ago. Too expensive for quality that leaves something to be desired.

First of all, a very bad reception, I asked for spicy in my durum not lava, the owner of the restaurant is not capable of managing his emotions, should consult a psychologist. The only good thing there is the waitresses who are friendly. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend this restaurant even to my worst enemy. I also add that I just threw this durum in the trash because I can't handle the nuclear explosion that they put in it.

I went to this “caterer” this lunchtime with the intention of ordering a kebab, galvanized by all these glowing consumer feedback, 4.7 stars, wow! Once there and heading confidently towards what was supposed to be a wonderful meal, I saw a roll of reconstituted meat as I walked through the door. The shame, the scandal, I would even say the abjection. Never in my life could I have imagined that such a thing was possible. How on earth could the people of Lausanne have awarded 5 stars to a bum who couldn't even find a place next to the worst gambling dens in the city? Amazing.

I WISH I could put 6 stars! This is - hands down - THE best Kebab place I’ve ever gone to, and I did go to a lot of them all over the world. They make all the ingredients, sauces, etc. Home made and it’s been a family business forever and a day. Used to go there as a kid 20+ years ago and the taste remains the same! Can’t stress enough how much I recommend this place.

Best Kebab in Lausanne. Been going there for 15+ years now. Always great. PS: reading the other reviews regarding the microwaving: They don't cook the meat in the microwave. You can clearly see where the meat is cooked (properly). They use the microwaves to heat it back up.

I would give them negative stars if I could. I really do not understand how this place is so highly rated !!!!! There are a number of flaws in this restaurant, but the most outrageous is the use of the microwave for cooking the raw meat and the bread. Complete lack of care in their cooking. Besides their few sandwiches in the menu, there’s practically nothing offered. I personally believe this restaurant is in the top 3 worst kebab joint I’ve ever tasted in the number of years I’ve lived in Europe. I *highly* discourage anyone to try their food. Extremely overrated. Don’t believe me? Try by yourself and experience the disappointment. I would be a fool to ever give it a second chance. There must be a number of fake reviews, that’s all I can think of right now.

By chance or by desire, a little restaurant to discover. The Bosphorus is the best place to eat Turkish food in Lausanne. The welcome is warm and friendly, with a smile. The dishes offered and prepared to order are excellent and at fair prices. You must of course appreciate the flavors and tastes of the Middle East. For a midday break, here is the right place to come and discover and share.

Caterer?? Just a common snack bar where you can find a big pile of meat like “almost” everywhere in the region. The bread is microwaved, so completely soft and the ingredients don't break anything. Lucky for them to be so well placed.

By far the best kebab I have ever eaten, and yet I have tasted plenty of them. In any case the best kebab in Lausanne at least, even the best in the world! Perfect balance, not too much meat! Fresh produce - although no choice in kebab 'meat' - in fact the only choice comes down to the usual mass-produced suspect: heavily processed meat, not the most flavoursome and very dry. Main difference is in the choice of salad/vegetables (type of choucroute - which is quite rare in a kebab, a very light yoghurt sauce and the addition of sumac - all of which are very fresh indeed). Overall not bad, fast friendly service - but if you want better meat or more choice, then better to find a place where they actually make and prepare the heart of the dish themselves.

One of the best Kebabs in Lausanne and surely also one of the healthiest. The meat is cut non-stop and the vegetables are fresh, really perfect when the weather is nice at midday. No cocktail sauce, only mild and hot spicy sauces as well as a white sauce and they are all homemade! I really recommend

Cashed The change cleaned the counter without gloves with a dirty cloth, and all that to serve me with The same dirty hands without gloves! I threw away the falafel wrap as soon as I left.
