GeA Gelateria Artigianale in Lausanne

The ice cream was really good despite the prices which are always excessively expensive in Switzerland (but we know that and expect it). What we don't expect is the antipathy of the glaciers who didn't give us a single glance, didn't say anything to us (neither hello nor goodbye), chatted among themselves. Maybe it was a bad day, personally I won't go back...

This gelateria is in the top 3 places I have tried in the world. For any normal person who likes ice cream, avoiding this place would be a crime. I still had the taste after finishing it.

Very very tasty ice cream. Small but fine selection of varieties. Fresh melted chocolate was stirred live into the stracciatella ice cream. However, also very expensive.

Very disapointed. We went there for granitas, there were only strawberry and lemon, and they didn't have the brioches as you can see on their poster at the entrance! We had lemon and it was really not good. Nothing to do with those found in Italy.

Certainly, delicious ice creams (we had saffron - orange blossom). On the other hand, it's a shame that the two salespeople are so rude and unpleasant. Price level: it’s Lausanne and these are artisanal ice creams, but 13.- for two small pots, it’s really extreme! Instead, go to Loom, Bon gusto or Labo Gelataria, where the ice creams are artisanal, delicious and the staff are very friendly! (At the right price!)

Wow. on a walk with a foodie friend...she introduced me to one of the best ice creams in Lausanne Small, discreet shop. But quite a queue. (But the service is great! Not too long of a wait) That promises. Woooo promises kept. I had tiramisu and hazelnut praline. Extremely tasty and creamy ice cream. Go there with your eyes closed!!

I was particularly surprised by the grades awarded. I thought I would enjoy myself, and what a disappointment.... Horrible Tiramisu scent, very average chocolate and vanilla... no comment!

Super good ice cream Price a little high for children

An exaggerated amount of sugar in all flavours, so much so that you cannot perceive the flavour. As an Italian I advise against it, so as not to add the price, 7.50 CHF for an ice cream, I won't comment.

Great gelato, very fresh and authentic

I took three flavors, I never managed to know which ball with which taste. For the price it's really disappointing.

Perfect, real artisanal ice cream

This small, light-colored shop is magical: the artisanal ice creams and sorbets change according to the seasons and the market to keep only a few preparations which invariably remain on the menu. Delicious chocolate sorbet and other “gelatti” will refresh you while bringing back travel memories.

The flavors change regularly and the ice creams are good; it feels natural and it's not too sweet. However the prices are high.

The waitress is dying of trouble, not very cool for the information given to customers. Lack of professionalism behind the counter. Next to the Italian gelateria's closer to the customer, more friendly... Sorbet ice cream for vegan, too sweet and not often the taste of fruit... the images on Google sound magnificent, the ice cream doesn't taste like the image .

The best ice cream in Lausanne by far. The best flavors in my opinion are the pistachio and coconut 🥥. A must try when your around caroline area. They use only fresh and natural ingredients. The portions are huge as well.

I rediscovered the taste of Italian ice cream.. advice to the Italians, very good place.. I can't wait to taste their granita with the brioche 🤤🤤

The ice creams are good but I find that the flavors are always the same, not too much innovation. And the worst for me is the staff.. so unfriendly, we know that working on a Sunday must be difficult but hey, that's no reason.. neither hello nor goodbye we almost have the impression of disturbing.
