I was with the family at Easter and ate their famous perch. Excellent quality, beautiful place overlooking the lake. I'll be back

Yesterday we had a delicious meal! Last time we ate the perch fillet, it’s the best! I highly recommend this restaurant! Welcome, quality-price, very friendly and warm staff.

Restaurant where I hadn't been back for a long time. I really enjoyed this moment. Nice welcome, I had a simple dish, but very good and I like Lutry where my family worked for many years as a winemaker tàcheron.

We had a good meal in the beautiful location. Service was quick and with typical French charm. Special vegetarian requests were possible. Good, local wines. You definitely need to reserve in advance.

Restaurant located in the historic center, the view of the lake is breathtaking, the dishes are delicious, in particular the spinach and morel puff pastry, but what can we say about the fabulous perch fillets served with fresh fries, desserts and Ice creams from a local artisan are a treat. The staff is dynamic and very attentive. I had a good time and recommend this establishment.

The food is way over priced and underwhelming. The perch and fries left a foul taste in my mouth. Risotto was okay. The local white wine was lovely and service passable but bordering on rude. Would not recommend.

Did you dream of being treated like Cinderella? It’s possible in this restaurant where asking for the bill seems like an insult… Fun to be scolded like a child by the manager of the establishment. However, the food is of good quality, which is a shame. Compassion for the waiters who seem to be subject to management's moods...

Damage. We were at the “café” and there were flies ABSOLUTELY everywhere. Perch from Poland while the bourgeois next door had perch from the Lake. A hoax. A morel puff pastry without morels. A tasteless salad dressing, just oil. If ever, they make desserts next to the DIRTY dishes!! Never again.

Very good, neat but very expensive for what is on the plate...eg the crème brûlée there is only barely 1 cm thick of cream!!!

I give this rating because of the excessive price of your chef's recommendation card which contains three melon dishes. I ordered melon with port, I received half a melon, with a shot glass, served on the side with red wine. All for around 20 francs. it was very difficult and annoying to cut the melon on the plate. It’s up to the chefs to do this work, they’re paid for it. Let's not forget that the price of half a melon is 1.50, and you sold it to me for 20 francs...

As usual the filets de perches were amazing

We couldn't choose our starters because it was problematic to choose 4 different starters for the kitchen so we might as well limit the menu to 2 starters. (Same for desserts and main courses.) Otherwise the dishes were ok in taste.

Good food and good service! Unfortunately hearing the boss, full of bad faith, yell at the customers, very little for us. Everyone looked more than uncomfortable... PS: inedible salad dressing

The food was delicious, but the conditions were a bit harsh. When we arrived, the kitchen would probably only be open for 5 minutes and we had to order quickly without much thought. After us, guests were still served food 🤔

This is a popular restaurant in Lutry, with stunning views of the lake if you sit on the terrasse. The food was tasty, but we give it a 4/5 stars because service could be a bit slow during “rush hours”, and the overall price-for-value is not very high in comparison to other restaurants in Lutry or nearby Cully. Friendly tip: do reserve a table in advance, especially for Friday nights or weekend meals :-)

We went together for the 3rd time. In this cafe. The first one a year ago for my 65th birthday. The table was rickety. We made the comment to the waiter. Who didn't manage to solve the problem for us. Not too nice. But the perch fillets are excellent. 2nd visit in March I think. Just for a drink and a portion of cheese. Expensive and small, the portion. I say this because yesterday in a cellar we received a portion of cheese twice as large for 8.-.3rd time Saturday evening for a morel and spinach puff pastry. More spinach than morels. And lack of cream in the sauce. But the icing on the cake is a winegrower's cup for 15.- with so-called Lie. And we had apple juice instead. Too sweet. And no Lie at all. We asked what she had worn. She told us about the Lie. And we asked for a glass of Lie. to compare. She told us we have more. And we told the waitress. We were sure you were going to tell us you had more. And suddenly she finds some. And in the end she put it on the bill. So no good hand, for bad times. Nothing to do with what I had in my ice cream... The young lady's name is Maude. I don't think I'll ever set foot in this cafe again.

The restaurant contains an authentic bistro corner, a pretty dining room and a beautiful terrace. Its location is idyllic on the edge of the lake with a view of the mountains. Very good food and good service. The only downside is that there are no cushions on the chairs which is quite uncomfortable. Especially in summer on the terrace. Get ready ladies to stick to the chair if you are in a dress or skirt. The waitress's excuse... Covid 🤔.

Very nice location! A caring team, welcoming, smiling and pleasant as possible. As for the perch fillets, they were simply exquisite! We felt the freshness of the products. A place to absolutely discover!

We book in advance upon arrival... No place, we are offered to eat outside in the rain... as warm as a barn door at the reception... in short avoid... I recommend the Leman restaurant .. right next to it. As I cannot answer I am changing my opinion.. no, your colleague confirmed that he spoke to me on the phone..

The restaurant and its various rooms are very pleasantly decorated and comfortable. The fact of having a bistro section at the back, authentically Vaudois, a more intimate and elegant room upstairs and the room facing the lake backed by its terrace intelligently offers all the options. The welcome and the service are of a very good level and cheerful, particularly upstairs. The cuisine does not live up to its reputation: its flagship dish, perch fillets, does not spark enthusiasm and does not reach the level of some of its competitors. A huge disappointment: the home fries were greasy and soft. The quality of the pdt on the market is not an acceptable excuse: we do not serve them in the same way as we would not serve lake perch fillets if there were none! We serve frozen fries while informing guests when to order. Too bad. The boss is a charming, apologetic man. Maybe I'll come back to review my judgment

We were there on a beautiful day in February, warm enough to eat outside (they also provide blankets). Our waitress was a bit hectic, nice, but it always felt like she was rushing us along. Yes, it was Sunday, yes, there were a lot of people but I had reserved and I have a pet hate with staff breathing down my neck. We had filets de pèrches which was delicious, as usual. Same time next year!

I visited this place as I was in the area and wanted a coffee; a simple, basic coffee - nothing fancy to be very clear. They do serve coffee, stale coffee to be precise. Brutal. Also, the arrogance of the staff and the negativity they infuse the place with is something I’ve rarely in the food industry. I would normally not review such a place as this is not a coffee shop but drinking coffee should be a pleasant moment and creating a good atmosphere for customers is no rocket science. Here, it is.

Reception by the cold and unpleasant owner. Followed by condescending remarks from him. We let it go at first. Then, during our next interaction, a rude and insulting response from the manager. Pointing out his inappropriate tone, he immediately attacked us verbally (almost threats). We therefore decided to leave the scene immediately as he continued his actions. We have never been received like this in a restaurant. Unusual and shocking experience. I don't recommend this to anyone.

Charming, old fashioned and cosy venue with incredibly warm welcome by genuinely friendly staff. The lady attending my table spoke as much English as I spoke French yet managed to make my evening lovely and comfortable 🤗 From beginning to the end I felt like home where food is truly delicious. Older gentleman ( guest of the restaurant) having coffee at the table outside after finished dinner, rushed to recommend in French I should have fillet the perche and creme brulé for desert…as they are devine. After by clearly a regular guest I simply had to comply.. adding the pot of Moules Marinières as a starter. All dishes were delicious and soo fresh!👌🏻I can’t wait to visit them again ( today! On my last day in Lutry) If you love quality and clean classic flavours this place is a must! No fuss, no unnecessary circus on the plate.. fresh delicious fish and most perfect creme brulé I ever had. I don’t understand how such simple beautiful dish is being butchered by so many other places. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Great place in all respects.

The food is good but the boss is terrible with his employees. He attacked an employee in the middle of the room for more than 10 minutes without thinking about the comfort of the customers. Too bad because the rest of the staff is very nice.

A very pleasant experience, the restaurant is located on the quays with a magnificent view of the lake and the Lutry marina. The ideal setting in short. We ate the perch fillets and without being very picky either, I must admit to having rarely eaten such good ones! The staff were super friendly, the wait was perfectly OK. The price is a bit high but if it is fish from Leman, I don't see any abuse. I recommend this establishment with my eyes closed and will return with great pleasure.

We haven't been back for a while and won't be back again. Smaller portions and rising prices. A starter of half a melon and 5 thin slices of ham, 25.-. Simply theft. I'm not talking about the rest. Like fries greatly reduced to then sell supplements. We arrived before noon, before everyone else. Then the terrace started to fill up, people to receive their entry and us nothing. We had to show up and after 30 minutes we received our entry. No excuses. In the end, 123.- for a small starter, 2 dishes and a small children's plate, with 1 bottle of water. We understand that the crisis is causing damage but this way of doing things is immoral. Shame on the owners!

The Tarte Tatin is not caramelized but was just spread with quince jam to make it better, very disappointed 😡.

poor service: we had a reservation but only got seated after waiting for 10 minutes. Mains took nearly 45 mins to be served, the risotto took a full hour. There are better restaurants in Lutry, please skip this one.

Frankly disappointed. We booked for 12:30 p.m., when we got there there was no more room. Very unpleasant waiter with inappropriate behavior: asked my husband to show him on his phone the call made the day before to prove our reservation!!! Waiting 30 minutes to finally get a table. 2 glasses of white wine offered to keep us waiting (the only reason I gave 2 stars)… my husband asked for Fera, there was none, took the beef which was ok. I take the morel puff pastry as a main course, very good taste-wise, but frankly 10CHF more for rice is a steal (starter at 23CHF without rice, main course 33CHF, only difference: rice). Finally incorrect addition with 1 coke counted in addition. In short, I won't come back again.

We came with friends and family to eat the perch fillets, which are good. Prices vary depending on the "normal" plate or more perch fillets. We don't know if the nets come from the lake or elsewhere.... On the sanitary side, we noticed that the latch to close the (ladies) toilets has still not been repaired since our last visit, almost a year ago. For a catering establishment, it's incredible, knowing that there are people on weekends and only one of the 2 toilets works!! When will the repair be??

One of my favorite restaurants in Lutry, the dishes are simply exquisite. The only downside is that the staff is not always very welcoming… As a trader myself, I find this a shame, because the setting is idyllic, despite this I would continue to come as often because they also have the best perch fillets! Location is privileged and view over the lake is nice. Service is terrible, impolite and slow. Waited for 25 minutes before someone came (3 waiters passed and nobody cared), shuttered the lights and started cleaning and tidying bottles very loudly when we were stil inside. All at 17:00 I shall note (they’re opened until 23:30). Never coming back. Terrible experience.

Food is great, waiters are very arrogant and really unfriendly. Nobody smiles in Lutry? When I pay so much money for my dinner I expect more from staff. No English menu, nobody speak English or German, nobody help with any translation. I think these people don't like foreign visitors. Its a shame for so lovely small village. But I will never come again. We felt very stupid and not welcomed. Very disappointed.

Really very disappointed... the boss caused a scandal at the neighboring table because the ladies couldn't get the social pass.. he was rude... also ordered a salad with mango shrimp and green salad... for 30.- I I received a little green salad with seven shrimps.. no mango or anything else.
