I love a waiter that loves his job and serves good food with a smile. It makes my meal enjoyable

Reservation made for 6 people on Monday February 5 to celebrate a birthday! Friendly welcome from the seller representative and table in the veranda, very good. The napkins are paper for the evening, I find a little light.. Compared to the dishes, the green salad is large but the leaves left as is...huge and without anything else, it is representative of a canteen! The waiter asks if the tartare should be very spicy and the customer answers medium and I tell you a thousand words, the tartare was plain with the bottle of Tabasco..it would have been correct to give us a medium spicy dish and with tabasco close but not natural!! My entrecôte looked like a steak and was smaller than expected but well grilled - positive point! The perch fillets were in abundance on the plate, nothing to report on that side. The cockerel wasn't very grilled, didn't make you want it and it's a long way from the rotisserie but it was eaten!! The service was slow and felt like a nuisance. On Mondays there may be fewer customers coming just after the weekend but then you might feel like you're too much...the cook ate close to the bar...it was far from appetizing! No mention of the birthday and the ketchup then the mustard in a squeeze bottle!! Gorgeous!! To top it all off, I threw up my guts the same night and my husband who had the same menu was sick the next day!! Overall, it's a huge disappointment and I regret having chosen this restaurant which nevertheless had everything to please, good location, reasonably sized food menu which allows me to manage the products but unfortunately, everything has declined!! I recommend the competition if you don't want to pay to be sick!!! Damage!

Entrecote and its Carnivor butter were excellent. Service could have been slightly faster, in particular since the restaurant didn't seem overly busy when we were there. Definitely would return though.

My wife and I arrived in Geneva after a 4 hour drive from Dijon. With no dinner plans in place made our way to town center and dined at Carnivoir. We were greeted and seated by Antonio who turned out to be master of all trades. Incredibly engaging and friendly. Spoke English very well and simple made us felt welcomed. We ordered a nice bottle of rose , a calamari appetizer to share. We then both had the special rotisserie chicken as recommended by Antonio. Excellent to say the least. We concluded with crème brûlée ( not sharing here) one each. Well done
