Very tasty food. Without a reservation it is quite possible that you won't get a place. In my opinion, the ambience can be expanded or expanded. I dare say 'classic Asian'?

Delicious food, seems very authentic. Neighborhood vibes cannot be overlooked.

It is one of my favourite places for Virtnamese food in Zurich. Staff is not very friendly during the lunch time. I used to visit this place often but not anymore since I have a baby. There is no changing board in the restaurant, which I find shocking, knowing how littleplace it takes and how little investment it would be. I hope the owners will take this feedback and make the place more family-friendly.

Worst experience at Vietnamese cuisine -1 Reservation made in advance, waitress couldn't find her. -2 “Bun Bo Hue” soup was not cooked properly, only lukewarm, the rice noodles were still stuck together. -3 after eating, I had diarrhea!!!

Very nice Vietnamese place. I had bolalot and it was very similar to the one I had in Vietnam 😅 The food was tasty and the service was good.

Very good Vietnamese restaurant. The food was excellent and fresh. However, eating locally over lunchtime takes a lot of patience and time. We had to wait almost 45 minutes until our order was taken and the food was finally served. You can also take the food away as takeaway

We’ve been to Chez Nhan at least 5x in the last 2 years. One of the best Pho I‘ve eaten (at least in Zurich) and with good vegetarian options for your non-meat eating friends. Mangosalad and Tom Kha Gai are delicious, too. I can also recommend the Butterfly Pea Icetea. We had very friendly service every time.

Reasonably ok Vietnamese food. I think that the Pho is a bit bland and they put too much pepper in. However the quality is overall good. Starters are quite nice.

We went there for a quick lunch and chose to take the buffet and some homemade infused water. That had many options for vegetarians and non vegetarians. The small plate is around 16 chf and the big plate is around 19chf. For 3chf difference might be worth to take the big plate. The food was good and the service was polite. I would come back.

Chez Nhan has one of the best Bánh mì in town imho. Their lunch menu (buffet included) hits the right spot with fresh ingredients and reasonable prices. The flavours are as authentic as it will get on this side of the world. I've yet to have a dish which has disappointed me. Also, indoor and outdoor (back) seating is a plus.

The best Vietnamese restaurant I've been to and one of the best restaurants overall. The food is delicious and the service is perfect. I recommend a thousand times.

Oh what a gem of a Vietnamese Restaurant! Even if it’s just a little out of the beaten paths of the city - a mere 2 minute walk from Bus 72 station Manesseplatz brought me and my friend to this restaurant. I have to admit - I am a foodie person but no Connaisseur of Vietnamese cuisine but I came to the right place: an extensive menu with lots of exotic sounding dishes made the choice what to eat difficult. You just want to try so many dishes!!! I had shrimp rolls as a starter (steamed) and a bowl with shrimp later as a main dish. My friend a green mango salad and a bowl with beef in spinach rolls. Sure we tried each others dishes and could just not decide which was best. They were just all special, nicely balanced in spice and taste. I fällt nicely satisfied without overeaten. The service was outstandingly friendly! I am certainly coming back - this time with more people…so I can try more of the plates of others 😉

Authentic Vietnamese food for a very reasonable price. The settings are lovely both indoors and on the terrace. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Good place just for a drink or dessert as well.

Always a pleasure having dinner here. Staffs are friendly and kind and tentative. Food is great, Vietnamese approved. Id recommend the matcha cheesecake if you like matcha. So good. Bo Ne is also a head turner literally and great dish.

The restaurant has a very nice interior in which you feel extremely comfortable. The food was also impeccable. It is highly recommended and definitely one of my new favorite restaurants!

For me one of the best Vietnamese in town. And the prices and size of portions are great.

This place has quickly become one of my favourite restaurants in Zurich. We came here for our anniversary dinner in hopes of finding a delicious vegetarian banh mi - and we did! We came here on a weekday around 7pm and the restaurant was relatively empty. By the time we left it was mostly full. Our waitress was really friendly and did a great job of explaining things to us. We ordered the banh mi with tofu, a banh cuon with tofu and the Pho Saigon with tofu but beef broth. The banh mi was so delicious - the bread was also perfect- crunch on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside but not too dense. The ingredients were really well seasoned and the sides of spicy sauce complimented it well. The banh cuon - like a warm rolled rice pancake dish with filling was pretty good. Our waitress convinced us that we should try to the Pho with the beef broth. It's the traditional way of preparing it and she explained that most restaurants in zurich us bouillon, but they make their broth with the actual beef bone. So, we decided that it would be something special to try. The broth itself was incredibly deep and delicious. I really enjoyed it with the fresh vegetables, tofu, and rice noodles. Finally to finish of an excellent evening, we ordered the Che That Cam - a sweet mixture of mung beans, rice, coconut milk and red beans. This was such an incredible dessert! The combination of all of the ingredients were so delicious and I didn't want to share with my husband. ;) Thank you for a delicious evening Chez Nhan! We will definitely be back.

Awesome food. Shameful to say that we ran into a waitress who provided the worse service we have ever had in Switzerland. She was extremely impatient, long face with anger , Pure horror.

The food is delicious and the service team is top notch! The restaurant is lovingly furnished and the garden is very cozy. We have enjoyed going to Chez Nhan for years. Whenever we think that we have already tried everything, another culinary surprise appears out of nowhere. A great restaurant where everything is just right and you immediately feel at home.

My companion and I arrived at this restaurant around 9 p.m. We had heard good things and were very disappointed. If you expect Zurich friendliness and courteous service, you probably shouldn't eat here. The waitress consistently treated us condescendingly, with an incredibly arrogant attitude, even though we tried to be friendly. She couldn't smile, barely communicated the bare minimum, and seemed to reject us. We had the impression that we were a nuisance to the lady. The food was okay to good. However, we will not go here again due to this overall poor experience and the behavior of the waitress. I can only hope that the lady is friendlier to other customers.

Really good Vietnamese food and great service without the hipster surrounding! It's a great place to meet friends and have a conversation as it's not too loud (as in other restaurants of this type). We have tried various dishes and we're never disappointed! They also have Vietnamese beer but their cocktails are also great! I recommend going here for a casual night out with great food and conversations.

A typical Vietnamese food restaurant in Zurich. It's a bit far from the center but the taste is really nice, not too salty as it used to in CH flavour. Price is reasonable, service is very good as well.

We have been to Chez Nhan several times and have had both very positive and very negative experiences (wrong food, unfriendly staff). The food is extremely tasty and the selection is large. The restaurant also has a charming terrace in the “inner courtyard”. Unfortunately, the visit is always very different and depends on the service.

Good asian buffet, and the food has a lot of taste, although this is partly due to the large amount of oil that they add. So tasty food, but not the most healthy. Good food off the menu too, although pricey for what it is. Nice interior and exterior terrace too.

Portions were plentiful but not really authentic. Taste so-so. Dessert menu is more of a joke, what you get is different than in the picture. Especially in the dimensions. The bill is not correct. And we were charged for shrimp even though we ordered beef.

Uh.Really.Great. Went there for the first time with a group of friends and enjoyed a really nice evening. Not only was the food excellent, but the ambience and mood were also great. The hostess was very friendly and attentive and reassured us that we were fine. The price-performance ratio was fair and justified. We will definitely visit the restaurant again. This combination of good food, pleasant atmosphere and reliable conditions cannot be found in a Vietnamese restaurant in Zurich. 10/10 will go again

Just had a pretty negative experience there while picking up my order. Placed an order on ubereats for pickup since I was in the area buying wine. An older woman brought out my pretty large order in 2 flimsy plastic bags and then kept repeating (in a not so friendly tone) tasche, tasche? to me. I was confused at first because i had a hard time understanding her and honestly, german is not my native language; but when i realized, I basically said yes that i wanted a paper bag. She then basically told me (hand gesturing) that I'm supposed to bring my own bag and then she walked away. Then she turned and saw I was still standing there and shooed me away with her hands as if she was telling me to leave. Then it dawned on me that she assumed that I was an ubereats driver picking up a client's order (which definitely still didnt give her the right to talk to me in that tone or treat me that way). Finally I was able to speak to another much nicer and younger woman there and she gave me a paper bag. The food itself was good but this was my first time at this restaurant and this experience was just unacceptable, and the service from that older woman was extremely rude. Part of the whole experience of being in or picking up food from a restaurant is the service and as this was so horrible, I probably won't be back. There are many other Vietnamese restaurants in Zurich which I'd rather support (one that is literally right nearby this one).

A very spacious and comfortable dining space, and the food tastes good. Although the bowl looks large, the portion is actually not very large, and you need to order another appetizer to be full.

The food was incredible, all the way up to dessert.. Every person needs to try the matcha-cheesecake and Vietnamese coffee here, it's on another level!
