The cloud is descending Our first brunch months ago was ok. The again assigned bistro table, which was too small for 2 people, still required organizational skills and creativity - very limited space, including the distance to the table neighbors. The service took 10 minutes to arrive. Cappuccino and milk coffee were served in small coffee cream cups, the request for a larger cup - the challenge of the day. We went to the buffet at 12:15, the bread table was 3/4 empty. We asked the chef de service primarily about replenishment of braids. Answer: at this time (?) the full supply would no longer be guaranteed, and due to food waste there would only be a limited refill, the plait would still have to be baked, takes 20 minutes! At a price of just under 70 per person, we clearly expect a corresponding selection of bread, cheese, sausages, fruit and hot dishes. The bread table and the cutting board sank into crumbs. Just 2 different nameless jams in XL jars that the guest was allowed to scoop out of, Nutella no longer available, total rest stop feeling... All in all, an absolutely soberingly disappointing tower experience. Here you are definitely resting on the cloud of views and the (still) ongoing success, which is a shame! We will not visit this location again in the future - spend your precious money somewhere else!

When I read the reviews I wasn't expecting much about the food, I just went there for the atmosphere but the food was as great as the atmosphere. I recommend you to go at 6 30 in the evening. You could enjoy the view both when the day is bright and after the sunset.

Disappointing Tourist Trap Our visit for a celebratory dinner turned out to be regrettable. Despite the steep prices, the service fell short of expectations. From wine being forgotten to be served, to plates arriving at different times for each diner (even though we each ordered our own tasting menu), it was simply unacceptable. The food itself was a letdown, with some dishes overly salty, others served cold, and overall quality failing to meet our expectations. While the views were the sole highlight, the cramped tables left little room for comfort. In fact, our neighboring diners felt closer than our own partner across the table. Save yourself the disappointment and explore other dining options. Our experience here was regrettable.

The reservation was made by our concierge from American Express for a business lunch at the Bistro. I have been 3 times to the CLOUDS before and it was fine, but this time was the last. At first we felt welcome, but that later disappeared. Food was average, my Garden Burger buns were over baked, which created a lot of crusts and it was super hard to cut through. Non-alcoholic beer is just a Heineken. Which is a bad choice of product knowing that there are superior non-alcoholic Swiss beers out there. Service was disappointing. We were served by a lady with short hairs, which I believe was C. Scandizzo. She had to cover a lot of tables. The service looked understaffed. When someone from our group was given her his order, she just left to attend another table, because she wasn't patient enough. When paying for the whole table, she huffed because she didn't understood me while trying to give her a tip with my poor German speaking skill.

1:At the beginning I ordered a beer and mineral water, the beer arrived but the water didn't arrive. 2:I ordered ceviche but no ceviche came, they brought me a carpaccio type and it had no hint of acidity. 3: I ordered an entrecot and the side dish was a joke and also the service is very slow and it wasn't full. It's a shame because they have a nice view And for my taste it's too dark to eat, I can't see what I'm eating and the sauce on my plate was salty. Bistro experience. We have been apart for exactly one year: January 3, 2023, January 3, 2024 for lunch and dinner respectively. Unique location: Clouds is located on the 35th floor of the Prime Tower with a splendid view of the Limmattal and the urban district of Zürich-West. Ideal for lunches, aperitifs and dinner. The selection of drinks is as high quality as the dishes offered. The environment features a refined design. Friendly staff. The only negative note: in the evening the lighting is problematic. The place is so dark that it is difficult to read the menu. 🔝

I have never experienced something like this. We reserved a table online, and everything went fine. When we arrived at the restaurant, the person that was supposed to show us our table told me I couldn't get in because I was wearing shorts, which is fine. However, I asked him where it was written because we didn't see it during the reservation process. He said it was there, and when I showed him that it wasn't written anywhere in the reservation process, he said, "It is written somewhere on the website." This person treated us in an extremely rude, condescending and disrespectful way. I want to highlight that behavior like this is not fitting for, as they aspire to be, "fine restaurant." Since it was their fault that during the reservation process there wasn't anything written about this policy, we should have been let in. I highly do not recommend this place.

The view is beautiful. Unfortunately the food wasn't particularly good. Curry with chicken and coriander. The rice was still very hard. The curry wasn't really tasty. There was no coriander on the dish. When I reordered this, I was informed that the kitchen was out of cilantro. I was then offered chives. Price performance inadequate. The waiter was very nice and stood up for us. He even wanted to take away my food but the chef refused. We were offered a coffee. I just don't drink coffee in the evenings anymore. Very nice of him, he then brought us a few cookies.

We stayed at Clouds twice. The brunch leaves nothing to be desired, but is also rather expensive. Oysters and other delicacies are advertised. Brunch is Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The first time everything was great. The second time we were there at 10:30 am. At 11:30 a.m. there were no more oysters and we had to wait for clean plates. The tartare was a mush that tasted mainly of tomatoes. Instead of high-quality meat, there was only salami and cold cuts. During both visits we were not informed that you could buy hot drinks for a flat rate of CHF 20. Which is worth it for just 4 coffees. We had bought vouchers 4 months earlier, with the addition of a glass of Bollinger each. Then they no longer had it available by the glass. They wanted to offer us an equivalent price, but that was absolutely not true. In no way was it equivalent (we were allowed to try it). After complaining several times, we received the glass of Bollinger. You can still buy a voucher with Bollinger on the homepage today. Conclusion: The brunch has gone down a lot and we won't be going there for brunch again for a long time. A pity!

The fact that you have to pay for coffee or tea separately at brunch (CHF 5.50) is very unusual in the brunch world and leaves a bad aftertaste. Unfortunately, we also have to criticize the freshness of some of the products (e.g. cheese, ham or salami), these products must have been on the buffet the day before and the Oef-Benedict leaves a lot to be desired, especially because of the dry and dusty brioche. A highlight was the extremely friendly young lady who served us very courteously the entire time. There is considerable potential for improvement in the kitchen!!!

I've been to Clouds for brunch and dinner once at least 5-7 times. I really liked both, but I think the brunch is “unique” with a lot of fresh selection, including fish, meat and soup in terms of pastries. Confectionery and much more. Drinks are not included in the price and the price is very high, but it is worth it. You are eating breakfast and have an overview of the whole of Zurich. I would especially recommend this to tourists. By the way, I have been living in Zurich for over 6 years and go once every year

The service is absolutely bad, neither friendly nor attentive. We were there on February 11th for brunch. They overcharged us for 1 person. We refunded the amount paid by email on the SAME day. However, Clouds said that this was not possible 75.-. They offered us a coffee on the house. Very very cheeky. If this was the last time, I will pass this on to family and friends.

Fantastic view Friendly staff But I booked 2 weeks in advance because it was a birthday and I asked if it would be possible to have a table at the Window. I didn't have one but that wouldn't be the problem. The problem was arriving at 7:30 pm (appointed time) and waiting until 8:05 pm to serve me, even giving me the menu and they only delivered it when we called their attention. Ok, they apologized Very tasty food Elegant ambiance I noticed that some customers had macarons for starters and they didn't give them to us, and at the end when they asked for the bill I also noticed that they came with a box to choose a sweet and they didn't do that to us. We recently went to Clouds Kitchen with a reservation. Everything was perfect, a nice table for two - we were celebrating an anniversary - right by the window with a breathtaking view of Zurich. The food was very tasty, especially the fillet, which was cooked medium-sized on the inside and crispy on the outside. The crème brûlée was the best I've ever had. We were served at the best level by Enrique - very friendly, calm, pleasantly reserved, confident and completely attentive! Thanks for the perfect evening!

Reception in front of the restaurant underground almost criminal - the gentleman who directed us to the table on Sunday evening was unfortunately passive aggressive, chatted at me several times from the side and didn't want to offer us a good table even though we were the very first ones there. When I complained about it and he probably passed it on to the service, we experienced terrible service. A few things happened and I don't know if that was intentional... so: - the waitress accidentally poured water down my neck while pouring... on purpose? - the salad in a glass is funny, but you can't decide between Italian or French salad dressing. The white salad dressing was completely acidic with cheap table vinegar. My companion couldn't eat the salad. - we ordered meat with Café de Paris sauce and it was so completely oversalted that it made us sick. It was no longer suitable for human consumption. When we returned the sauce, the service just said that the chef didn't like it (embarrassing). No replacement was offered or one without replacement was brought and we just had to choke down the food. We were not offered a reduction or anything like a dessert or a coffee. There was neither an apology nor an explanation as to why the service was poor. The worst thing about the evening was that I felt really aggressively attacked by the person who greets people in front of the restaurant. He then chatted at me strangely when I went to the toilet and seemed almost threatening. I demand an apology from the management or a partial refund of the money.

The location is very nice. Beautiful wiew on the city. Clean. Me and my friend went just for a drink. We took 2 different liquors of the same color. I saw the waiter asking the barman wich one was cynar or Ramazzotti. To solve the problem they decide both to put their noses inside the glasses to find it out. So nice location, but the service has to be improved. If they do that in front of customers I can"t immagine what thay do in the kitchen where nobody see them....

The location, the view and the ambience are great, so they expect that visitors will probably visit Clouds even without friendly service. We were in a group at Clouds. The view in the evening can be truly unique. The staff was sometimes a bit rude and unfriendly, which I personally found very unfortunate. The food was very good and exceptional, but it was not a “pleaser for the palate”. Hence a minus star for the food. The staff could smile a little more, which also makes work easier. You can't complain about the ambience.

I had the feeling that the service staff was a little overwhelmed/tired... which can be OK, we are all human. Food was fine but on the limit of “too much salt” The kitchen team seems to be very young, which I think is cool. There are many better restaurants than Clouds! We also wanted to see it, but we will never come back. The service is medieval. The woman is ignored. Although the woman orders the wine, it is held out to the man to try without question as to who would like to taste it. The bill clearly goes to the man. Since the tip was less than the waiter T.E. expected, he suddenly became massively unfriendly. He repeated our amount in a very unfriendly tone (tip was included!) and stomped away after paying without a thank you or a nice evening! It was only 10 p.m. There were still many tables occupied around us and the main course was being eaten next to us. However, there was a general mood of clean-up. Behind us, a waiter tossed menus to the kitchen buffet. Tablecloths were rudely removed from the tables directly next to us. Anything but a pleasant atmosphere! It rattled and was loud even in the open kitchen right next to our table. They wanted to get rid of the guests as quickly as possible. Waiting time between courses was too long. The side dish for the beef fillet was meager, see photo. Price performance is definitely not right here. The food tasted ok. We skipped dessert given the ambience and service!!! Unfortunately, the view couldn't work that way.

Absolutely phenomenal view. But that was almost all. Brunch at CHF 69.00 (excluding drinks) is not justified. Dessert buffet sensational and of very good quality. Unfortunately, the rest can't keep up. Selection of cheese is small, jam (1 selection and 1 type of honey) absolutely inadequate. Labeling of the dishes was largely missing. Interior worn and in need of a refresh, staff nice but not attentive.

We went for lunch at the Bistro with the family. First the service at the entrance was below par. Apparently everyone must leave their coats behind even if you wanted to keep your coat the person at the welcome desk insisted that this was not possible. The view and the table were great. What was disappointing was the service and the quality of the food. The home made ravioli were overcooked and the veal stuffing had tiny pieces of bone. The burgers looked and tasted ok. But nothing special. The restaurant personnel were not upto par with the standard of the place which charges premium prices for the location. Best is to go up, have a coffee and enjoy the view. Don’t spend money on the food of the Bistro.

You would think that you would get high quality menus in this restaurant if you look at the price. We will definitely not go by and dine there again. The nice thing right at the beginning: the view is magnificent! Anything else would simply be a disappointment. Unmotivated service staff who don't know when refills need to be made, uninspired, boring cuisine at overpriced prices. No more precise indication of origin of meat, other than “Switzerland”, nothing organic, not even wine. As a thank you, we are kicked out at 2:30 p.m. without any prior notice. In Switzerland, the production of foie gras has been banned for decades because everyone knows that it is the worst kind of animal cruelty. The CLOUDS doesn't care. Foie Gras is imported and served on New Year's Eve 2023/2024. Anyone who supports such cruelty (and more) doesn't deserve more than 1 star - no matter what the food, ambience or service is.

Room for improvement in hygiene and customer service I recently had the pleasure of visiting your restaurant. The culinary diversity and the ambience seemed promising. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by inconveniences. Twice during the visit we found hair in our meal, indicating poor hygiene. This matter has been brought to the attention of staff, but there has been no response to my written complaint. As a guest, I expect not only excellent food, but also outstanding customer service. The lack of communication following the complaint resulted in a disappointing experience. I am confident that this feedback will be viewed as constructive criticism and hope for rapid improvement in terms of hygiene and communication.

Spontaneously over today. I was told to give up my jacket, but I wanted to go upstairs to see if my companion was there. This was ignored and people suddenly spoke English. When I asked if they couldn't tell me that in German, I got a shake of the head. It's a shame, I regularly go to Clouds with external guests and business partners and have been very satisfied so far. The service today is absolutely unacceptable.

For those who are not used to it, butterflies in the stomach as you go up the elevator. There is an excellent view of the city at the top of both the restaurant and the bistro. The food is delicious and the service is competent and friendly.

Clouds Brunch ~ For 69 CHF per person, excluding warm drinks, I unfortunately didn't find the price-performance ratio at Clouds Brunch justified. The choice of food, especially the hot dishes, was very limited. The highlight could be the view, provided you get a window seat. Overall, however, the price seemed too high for what was on offer.

My girlfriend and I were here for the second time. The first time everything was perfect from A to Z. Great and friendly service, food was great, ambience, really everything. We wanted to enjoy this again for our anniversary. Unfortunately we were bitterly disappointed. It was clear right from the reception that today wouldn't be so nice. We were there on October 29th. There in the evening. After we were asked to say our names, we just said okay and the gentleman ran away, I think we should follow him. Instead of offering each other the special, day-specific menus that will be displayed in the same breath, we followed the Lord in silence. When we arrived at the place, a waitress quickly arrived and wanted to take the food straight away without any greeting. The whole thing then continued in a similar style: no one made an effort to speak English with my partner, who doesn't understand German, even though my partner only communicated in English. In addition, the wine bottle was kindly opened for us and kept cool, and we were allowed to refill the wine glasses ourselves, even though the wine was not directly accessible from the table. Unfortunately I have to say that such poor service really spoiled our evening. With such prices being asked for the food, a different service is to be expected. We will avoid this restaurant in the future because the work is not reliable (except for the kitchen, because the food would be phenomenal). Disappointing!

We went to this restaurant with our adult children for my husband's birthday dinner and were totally disappointed. It was only after two hours that we were served food. This was a total disappointment! Unfortunately, the lobster tail was still half raw and the soup was totally over salted. Winter vegetables inedible and the portions too small for such a high price! I asked if there was a little birthday greeting for my husband, but not even this wish was fulfilled... In short: completely exorbitant prices for little quality and poor performance! Unfortunately not recommended...

We visited Clouds in spring! A very unpleasant encounter right downstairs at the entrance, I was told that I had to take off my headgear, but the person didn't recognize the illness on my head, and she wasn't even interested in pointing it out. Extremely unfriendly and very unpleasant for me! Headgear or not, in my opinion it is no longer contemporary and completely old-fashioned! I didn't want to spoil my friends' evening and I accepted it! The bar visit was great! Service drinks everything! The restaurant was more run-down and anything but upper league! Cold soup bowls, constant requests for bread and the main course more warm than hot. Not worth another visit for me! For the price you have to offer something, except in the bar, everything else was even disappointing! We were also clearly given the feeling that it's nice that you're gone again and next time please... Not worth recommending!

We have been going there off and on for years. After 2 years ago between the starter-main course-dessert! After having to wait 1.5 hours, we took a break for 2 years. The waitress at the time told us that the restaurant was having problems with serving and kitchen staff and that he (the waiter) had also resigned. Given the circumstances, we fully understood these delays. Now, after two years, we tried again to spend a pleasant evening there for my husband's birthday. The receptionist, the ambience and the view from the 35th floor were very nice, but that was it. Not more. The service was a disaster: no attention (I waved several times, to no avail. After I said "we're ready" he simply walked away without taking the order. After another 20 minutes and several waves and shouts of "Hello" he was Waiter finally came. The behavior of the waitress accompanied the whole evening - constantly absent minded, no eye contact and only intrusive behavior and waiting finally there. The champagne was served by placing the neck of the bottle on the glasses. Sorry, but I expect something different from an upscale restaurant. Now to the food itself - pure disappointment. the amuse bouche: soggy stuffed shrimp chips that obviously had to wait forever and were difficult to pick up because they stuck to the bottom of the plate and broke. Starter: Refrigerator cold, also prepared and put there a long time ago, scallop tartare. Shame about the ingredients. No flavor, poorly seasoned, no taste of the pear and smoked olive oil. The waitress responded to the complaint with a “thank you”. The lobster bisque was totally over salted, the waitress's reaction was: that's just how it is, would you like something else? No, she wanted THAT soup, but not too salty. It stopped at nothing, so no starter. We were charged for the soup and only took it back after we complained. Main course: the linguine with ONE lobster tail was OK, but nothing more. Mediocre. The turbot from the counter at the front, 140 CHF each was good, the only thing that was good that evening. The side dishes: when asked what kind of side dishes there were, the answer was: rice, mashed potatoes and fried vegetables. I chose the vegetables and mashed potatoes. The “fried vegetables” that came to the table were raw savoy cabbage and kale dipped in what felt like a ton of lard with cracklings. Unfortunately only the savoy cabbage was edible, the kale was inedible: too fatty and unacceptable in taste, it completely drowned out the fish. By “fried vegetables” I mean something different. The sea bass offered already had milky eyes, so it wasn't fresh, so I skipped it. We also skipped dessert. In addition: my son's uneaten starter plate was simply cleared away without asking, the unemptied water bottle was also cleared away without distributing the contents because we ordered another water bottle. There were more plates of lobster bisque and carpaccio that had already been prepared at the counter - they stood there for quite a long time. After seeing the quality of the meat, I was glad I didn't order carpaccio. Tendons as far as the eye can see and exposed to ongoing guest traffic. All in all: the ambience and the view are not able to compensate for the miserable service and the poor quality of the food. Unfortunately. I'm extremely disappointed.

On top of Zurich - but not quite up there The positive: fantastic views across the city and a decent wine selection The rest left a lot to be desired: Arriving on-time for our dinner reservation, we waited at the reception desk for a full 10 minutes until the restaurant manager showed us to our table - despite the attentive host from the bar on the opposite side having told her restaurant colleagues that new guests had arrived. As it turned out, the restaurant was hopelessly understaffed and it continued to show. The tables are cramped into the floor space, allowing you to overhear the entire conversation of the table next to you even if they are soft-spoken while making it hard for the serving staff to squeeze through. We waited a full 15 minutes until we were able to order a first drink and another 10 until we received it. We ordered the 4-course kitchen menu which, along with the entire menu, was different to the menu on the Clouds website (on the same day). We initially chose a 2020 Mauro / Castilla y Leon from the menu which was no longer available, no indication of that on the menu however. The amuse-bouche was okay but pretty unimaginative (salmon with creme-cheese on a cracker), the starter (carpaccio) was tasty but the meat somewhat stringy, the first course (fish with kale) was bland and boring, and the main (filet of beef with beetroot mash) was very nice and cooked perfectly. Dessert was chocolate a rather uncreative chocolate ice cream - fruit combo. Overall, the food was not bad BUT neither the food and certainly not the experience lived up to the haute-cuisine experience they claim to offer. At CHF 360 for a dinner for two, there are plenty of better fine-dining choices in Zurich. Unless you want to pay for the view, I cannot recommend dining at Clouds.

The bar was a complete disappointment. We were there for a birthday aperitif, 8 people. I was told by phone 3 weeks in advance that they couldn't reserve anything for groups in the bar, we should just come. In the bar the waiter didn't want to serve us because there were 8 of us at a table of six. We are only allowed to stay because the bartender intervened. But then we were treated accordingly. It took over half an hour until we had our drinks (no wild cocktails...), there were no snacks, the candles on the bar tables weren't lit... In short: you don't feel welcome at all. Unfortunately, the lousy service and the seemingly unloving ambience outweigh the good work of the bar staff and the beautiful view over Zurich. We're not coming anymore.

We went for brunch and were served very confidently. The food was very good. When we made the reservation 2-3 months in advance, we ordered a window seat, which was confirmed to us. Unfortunately they didn't have any left when we arrived. This and the dirty ceiling are the reason for the star being deducted. Good to know: The price of 69.-Chf per person does not include drinks such as cappuchino, prosecco etc.

An extremely beautiful place to switch off and think! Prices are on the higher side but it's totally worth it with this view! Certainly the best brunch experience in Zurich. We were there at 10 a.m. and were able to experience the full beauty of the buffet. Salmon was outstanding, tuna was great and egg dishes were delicious. Good service and a breathtaking view. We will be back!

Birthday meal. Set menu, wine, was good. Service was what you’d expect at those prices. Unfortunately when it came to paying the bill and leaving, the waitress came and went in a flash, no thank you, nothing. We paid 335 for two people, stayed less than two hours, so you’d expect a more enthusiastic goodbye. Perhaps she expected a bigger tip and was then annoyed. Nevertheless, it ruined the experience. When we walked out, barely a glance, so all in all, not good enough. If you charge fine dining prices, make sure your staff are trained. Thanks.

Every time I'm in Zurich I go to eat at Lipp. I love the atmosphere, the cuisine is delicious and refined. The staff is available and very pleasant. Seasonal cuisine which is a plus

During the first serving, the meat was really too cold. After we reported it to the friendly waitress, they took it away and we were given new plates. The atmosphere and staff are excellent, just like our favourite Relais where we always go in Paris, but it is a point of attention for the chef to make sure the food is definitely hot enough when it comes out of the kitchen!!
