Decent loungy bar with live music every day

Live music was great. If you can beat the crowd and get a table, it is ideal. You can also miss the line and bouncer. They leave a huge amount of standing space on the dance floor. Good drinks and it gets loud and crowded to where there’s not much dancing.

Gee's is dead. Mamacita is dying. The owner, known throughout Zermatt, has left the management of some of his important businesses to his daughter for several years, it's a secret here. Except that it's quite complicated to improvise as Manager from one day to the next. In short... the new boss unilaterally decides to change when she wants what she wants. And there's no point in saying she's wrong... It's sad but that's the way it is. So there you have it, we will have had some great times here but it's over. Good luck and above all good luck to the staff..........

Worst experience with the security guy. I was in ski clothes, I came home and there was no one managing the entrance. So I ordered a drink with my friends, 5 minutes later the social security jumped on me and violently attacked me because I was in ski clothes, he threw me out I couldn't even drink my drink

The institution is quite good. Live... The only problem is to find a place, because there are a lot of people when the live music starts. In general, I recommend!

Decent pub with good live music. Don't order a double vodka and coke though, extortionate. Beers and cocktails weren't too bad!

20:35 we go in with my boyfriend to ask if the lower bar is working (like last year), the waiter tells us that it is a club from 00:00 it opens and if we want to sit upstairs where at 22:00 there is live. Let's go have a cigarette, 20:45 we come back and the reception "spiffterman" with irony and style says "you don't come in with a suit" 20:45 with an empty store 😂 sorry it's not comfortable to be in jeans at -10..( btw and in sportswear expensive thanks for making us not to prefer you again)

Perfect for a nice aperitif, nightcap or a drink in between. The employees are nice, accommodating and the atmosphere inside is very modern. Our favorite place, however, is just in the picturesque alley... Great drink and watching the hustle and bustle. Tip: The homemade ginger beer. Super delicious! #withoutalcohol

We were there 3 weeks ago on Wednesday evening, during Latino party. They have a weird cocktails choise.I ordered one, 20 CHF, it was the worst that I drunk in my life. We decided to continue with the beer...nothing wrong. Fantastic musik..at least.

Charging 5.5CHF each for 2 glasses of mineral water is quite a disgrace. Waiters all only speak English, you had to ask for kebabs... The waiters were quite arrogant...

Nice place, good cocktails but avoid eating because the portions are tiny, like 10 nacho chips and mini guacamole. It's a shame because otherwise very nice, the staff very helpful.

The bouncer sent us away because we were wearing (fashion) ski pants. The day after we have learned from other people that they were allowed in - with ski pants - after paying 50 CHF.

Music is nice, drinks are below average but the worst of all is the bad attitude of some of the barmen (the polish and italian guys).

Great bar and great bar tenders. All except if you get the guy who looks like the bad guy from “Harry Potter goblet of fire” he sucks. Also it don’t matter if you got food from Grampis don’t eat it out front. They’ll kick you out. Cheers! Serious like the “hey you guys” guy from the goonies.

A good place to hang out with some drinks and food. The Club downstairs is worth a visit.

Staff did nothing when people started drawing swastikas on the walls and waving a confederate flag. Not a safe bar do NOT go here

Absolutely amazing bar with an amazing band. Zermatt can be kind of stuffy but this place is the opposite. We had an absolute blast on a Monday night, so I can't imagine a Friday or Saturday.

Two orders of tacos (4 small street tacos) a quesadilla, loaded fries (spicy!!) and cocktails for $58! I’m my opinion Switzerland as a whole has very mediocre food, but this place serves up quality and authenticity. Service was friendly and helpful with recommendations on wine and food, a must try while visiting Zermatt!

Best place in Zermatt with great live music

What a joke this place is. They're more likely to sell alcohol to drunks than decent food. After spending 20 euros on food, I had to have dinner at a real restaurant. Don't think this is a dinner place. You will leave hungry

Just had dinner at Club Mamacita and it was absolutely delicious!! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, drinks were delicious and incredibly visually appealing (i'm talking to you virgin mojito) and the food was top notch. They just introduced a new menu and hopefully it sticks around for many years so we can eat everything again when we return to Zermatt in the future. The pulled pork bao buns were full of flavour and cooked perfectly - we ended up eating 6 of them! The sushi roll was the largest I have ever seen, and the chicken tacos were delicious. This should be on everyone's list when they visit Zermatt! Thanks again for the great service and wonderful food.

Drinks were tasty, service was friendly. Wish I didn’t have to knock two stars, reason why I am is because the taco’s were incredibly small for the price. $16 for two tiny street size tacos. $8/taco deserves way more substance or be more practical in your pricing.

Unbelievably expensive (even for Zermatt) for the most absurdly tiny portions you've ever seen. The food itself was good, but the dishes were so small we thought we were being punk'd. Tables were small, server was distracted, and the experience overall wasn't great. We were hungry again by the time we paid the bill.

Very good address, the bar and the discotheque are very nice and very aesthetic (especially the sound of the speakers which is just incredible). The staff is welcoming and the live music on the ground floor is very pleasant. The only downsides are the prices, which are quite high, and the music in the disco, which is not very varied and sometimes lacks a little life. I nevertheless highly recommend this address!

Cool bar atmosphere. Unfortunately there was no live music. Regarding food, it should be noted that it. It's more of a bar/apero place and not a typical restaurant, as the portions won't fill you up. The only place where the price is right is the sushi, which is really great!

What a contrast and what a fraudulent label! If something is intended as an appetizer, then it should be described as such. And even more so when it costs CHF 20.00 (Menu Carne). We wanted to have dinner at Mamacita in Zermatt and couldn't believe that all orders, except the sushi, were served on dessert plates because there were so few. But here the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. After paying for this overpriced food, we went to McDonald's because neither the children nor the men were full. With the sushi, however, everything was right. They were really really good and the price was right too. So for sushi 👍 and for the rest 👎

Chef Eric makes the best ceviche in Zermatt, truly Peruvian ceviche! MUST TRY! And they also have the best drinks and super friendly staff!

We booked the Séparé downstairs in the club. The club manager Fabrizio and the bar keeper were very friendly, most helpful and did their utmost to allow us to have a great party!

Very nice place to pass through Zermatt. They play live music every day and it's really worth it. They encourage the audience to come out on stage. The waiters and waitresses are very young and you can tell that they like working where they are. They are very friendly and make you feel comfortable at all times. We hope to repeat when we return!!

If you are in Zermatt, I recommend you visit, live music, the boys are absolutely great, they will play everything and the bar service is 5 stars.

Entering the customer's head is really rubbish, especially when you're a regular at Zermatt.

We went there after dinner to have a quick drink and we were lucky to get a nice table on the road with a view to the walking street. Our waitress Isabella was very nice, she recommended some drink, we had a nice chat with here about Zermatt and stuff. Very good time. Good Moscau Mule and Margaritas.

Very nice place I recommend for a drink but don’t expect to eat mexican food, it’s awful... 2 mini tacos and quesadillas which were not, served with cold tortillas crunchy and yellow cheese...... they don’t have real hot sauce... I only recommend for drinks and live music which is very nice atmosphere
