Good coffee. A bit expensive though. Very well presented, the coffee beans are fresh and much stronger than Starbucks. I recommend this coffee shop to everyone who comes to Lausanne.

Coffee bar, work place atmosphere (office for some) not much space, coffee with high prices. Self-service at the bar.

Good coffee but not memorable either. The music feels very "standardized Jazz playlists on Spotify," that added to the design of the place contribute to a feeling of déjà-vu. Service is very varying; the female owner is lovely, but her husband is way too distant and cold to greet customers.

Excellent barista cafeteria a few steps from the Lausanne Train Station. Very calm and cozy environment. Open on Sunday which is very nice. Their herbal tea options are also very good. The background music is great and subtle which allows you to work on your laptop or simply read a book.

Coffee is really good and has been since they've opened the place years back. The big dissapointement is their cakes. The are dry, maybe even a day or two old and really not much going on in the taste departement. The barista was very friendly and smiling.

Over priced and not that good of quality

I visited this cafe and ordered a filter coffee. The taste was really delicious and I enjoyed the good service as well as the atmosphere. However, the only problem I encountered was that I was not warned of the high price of 14 CHF in advance, but only after I made the payment. In addition, nowhere was the price indicated and the barista did not warn me beforehand. This isn't fair, and I'm not sure it's even legal, as another price was listed on the menu. I hope this changes soon - or at least verbally mentioned in advance. THANKS.

Great place to work with good coffee.

Matcha latte quite good but expensive (9.90) and disappointed because 90% of the matcha menu was missing, banana cake for 4 chf dry. Cozy and small place on the other hand the waitress doesn't speak French, no problem but she could still say thank you and you're welcome in French especially when we encourage American tipping even for a takeaway drink

Large selection of hot or cold coffees. Their coffee variety is excellent. There is a lack of seats but there are possibilities to go and sit at the Hungary Bear.

Best place for a quick breakfast with freshly baked pastries and coffee on a raining (or not) morning. Situated very close to the Lausanne train station.

This cafe is quite nice. A cozy and simple place, with a very calm atmosphere, where we can both work and chat with loved ones. The service is fast and friendly. Coffee is a heartbreaker to drink because it is so beautiful, but the heart is quickly consoled by the taste!

This is a lovely stop during a day in Lausanne, with a natural, wooden ambience and an excellent selection for non-caffeine drinkers. I really wish they sold mugs with their logo on. I like the design and layout a lot. I had a really nice dragonfruit hot oat milk with a ginger and nut brownie, but there was a wide selection otherwise.

I came here 2 years ago and came back after a long time, and the cute tray is still the same. It feels like a small hidden hideout for regulars, so it's comfortable and nice! The coffee is delicious, the atmosphere is nice and friendly☺️

Hopped off the train to get breakfast. So glad we stumbled upon this place. Really nice coffee shop with pleasant service and the best coffee we have had in quite a CD while. Excellent banana bread and chocolate croissants! Definitely worth stopping here.

The coffee served at Sleepy Bear Coffee Shop was the best coffee we’ve had the 2 weeks we’ve been in Switzerland. Me and my sister had an iced latte, dad had a flat white, and my mom had a cappuccino with soy milk. We also got some pastries. Everything was amazing!!!!

The food is great but the waiting time is ridiculous. The first time I went for dinner I thought it was a fluke but I went again a couple of weeks ago during lunch time and I only received my first plate 45 minutes after ordering (Which oddly enough came at the same time as the bread…) I was convinced our order had been forgotten since it wasn’t even that busy but when I asked the waitress she kind of brushed me off which frankly felt a bit unprofessional. I hope the team takes this as constructive feedback as I’ve read some of their replies here on Google and they can be quite biting…

Great coffee shop with a lot of options and delicious carrot cake. The staff is very friendly, polite, and attentive. It is a small coffee shop with good ambiance. I really recommend it! :-) Just it could open until the end of the afternoon so we can enjoy more.

The place is very small, very cute, very cozy 🥰 We ordered a latte and an ice latte. The coffee is okay, neither incredible nor bad, but good. The design and presentation are excellent! On the other hand, the welcome of the barista and the friendliness were absent. We had the impression of disturbing the barista (even though there were no customers), who gave us a curt hello and curt answers. For the first time here, the reception was not very welcoming.

Coffee with reasonable prices, we had hot chocolate and tea and the equipment is stylish and of good quality. Friendly and helpful staff. A large, beautifully decorated room is available to quietly enjoy your drink.

Very nice place. Top service. However disappointed by the coffee. I had, as always, a small espresso. I am a fan of Italian coffee. Unfortunately, a 100% Arabica coffee trend has invaded the city of Lausanne and certainly other cities. I'm not a fan at all. Why not go back to basics for short coffees? Put whatever you want in a coffee with milk, but not in short coffees. Italian cafe style.

The coffee was pretty good considering it's Switzerland where I find it hard to get a good one. I didn't eat anything. The only complaint I had was that it was very hot inside and there was a long queue therefore I was boiling while waiting. There wasn't much room to shed your winter layers. Other than that, would highly recommend.

Best filtered coffee I've ever had, smooth, clean, flavourful and balanced. I finished it faster than I would have liked, so I had to try the flat white which I can't recommend enough. Excellent service, love the decor and cozy atmosphere

I was very blessed to have stayed next to this coffee and was able to get my morning latte from Sleepy Bear for a week. I like my coffee beans to be tastey and love "spiciality coffee" with good quality. Thank you Sleepy Bear for making my visit to Lausane soo great. ❤️❤️

Nice little place for take away coffee or on site. But you shouldn't be in a hurry for a train because Barista service (only) is quite slow (my wait was around 9 minutes). Please provide perhaps 2 baristas during busy times so as not to frustrate the consumer.

Excellent cafe and now they have taken over the place of the Grancy creperie and have one of the most beautiful terraces in the area! I highly recommend, it always feels like you're on vacation 😉
