The food was fantastic...the service was friendly and accommodating Gladly again

The ambience is bright and beautiful. Less pleasant...: - We (7 people) were already there at 11:25. The restaurant doesn't officially open until 11:30. The staff was still smoking. It looked at us but didn't open until 11:30. But the door immediately slammed shut again instead of greeting us as we waited outside. We didn't feel welcome. - We ordered. Unfortunately the chef wasn't there yet, which led to delays. - Then I wanted to pay with a debit card. The amount was charged and then immediately canceled. The waiter said "that happens from time to time, I should please pay in cash". But I didn't have any cash with me... I think the restaurant is too expensive for the above experiences. More than CHF 40.- for 2 drinks and 2 salads.

Good pizza 🍕 in decent price, close to mall. If you go weekday for lunch better do a reservation as there are many companies around n it’s getting very busy around noon

I've had lunch at Cucina Basilisk several times and now for the first time for dinner with the family for my wife's birthday. The whole family was thrilled. Great, very large appetizer platter. Very fine pizzas and very good risotto. Because of the birthday, we were also offered a surprise dessert, including “fireworks” and the shot at the end. But the best thing of all was the truly exceptional and entertaining service. The waiter (or is he even the boss?) is unique and so friendly and attentive. Thank you for a really great evening!

I had the “4 Stagioni” pizza, it was very good! 😊 My colleague had the Gnocchi Gorgonzola and found it very tasty too. We'd love to come back. Very pleasant atmosphere.

The pizza was quite generous and also very tasty, the lunch menu could have been a little larger. But in the Altstetten restaurant desert a more than just welcome change with nice and much more. attentive service.

Boring pizza. Dough without salt. No spice (oregano) on the pizza and tons of durum wheat semolina on the pizza base. Simply a boring affair!

Had a very nice large pizza. There was still room for a Torta della Nonna, which was also generous. And very nice, warm, courteous service. I would love to come back, especially from Lucerne because this is the favorite restaurant of my sister and niece.

The boss is unique, very warm, courteous and extremely attentive. The entire Cucina team looks after the guests extremely well, and the service is first class. The food and selection are great, from pizza to pasta, music and ambience, highly recommended.

The ambience and food were really excellent. However, there were unfortunately small problems with the service this afternoon. After our first order it was a bit difficult to find a waiter. In addition, one of the employees had difficulty understanding our language well.

My family and I usually go to this restaurant once every two weeks. The cuisine is excellent and the treatment is familiar. They take good care of my little one (2 years old) with details such as paintings for entertainment, etc.

Have eaten there several times. Sometimes in the evening there is a very quiet, romantic atmosphere… The food has always been very good and the staff is funny and always helpful…

Excellent restaurant, decorated with good taste and simplicity. Spacious and very clean. Ideal to go with friends or family. We had a wonderful dinner, pizzas with delicious prawns, spinach cannelloni, lasagna and various meat dishes. They have quite a few Italian and Spanish wines. The staff service is very attentive, especially our waiter Alejandro and the restaurant's team leader Carlos C.R. They both speak several languages. Without a doubt we will repeat when we visit Switzerland again.

Deliciously prepared food: I had giant prawns with rice and vegetables👌🏽 great service (from the gentleman with the casual yellow glasses😉) we'll be back!!

The food was good, we waited 50 minutes for it. The reason was that whoever was responsible for the staff (plan) failed completely. People didn't know there was a concert taking place. The two service employees at the front were completely overwhelmed. Luckily there was no food control present either because a service employee briefly shaped the dough with unwashed hands because the pizzaiolo was also taken by surprise by the many guests.

9 CHF for two coffee drinks? And the cappuccino without milk foam, actually just a coffee with milk? This is supposed to be Italian cuisine?! After a weekend in Milano, where we paid €2.50 for the same things in better quality, just a shock!

Very bad coffee experience. We paid 9 CHF for 1 espresso (which tasted ok) and one so-called cappuccino, which was basically just coffee and milk, no foam at all, in a cup barely bigger than the espresso one. No thank you.

Reservation went well. We received a friendly welcome, nice and bright atmosphere. The food came quite quickly and was good. Price-performance for Zurich is okay. We would come again.

Service was good; however, both of us got stomachache and were vomiting the whole night. Be aware!!

I'm positively surprised. Very fine pizza and wonderful salads. Great daily menu at lunchtime, but also very well staffed. Service very pleasant. I'd love to come back there.

The staff is blind or only pays attention to the customers in the restaurant. I went to pick up an order from over and canceled the order after waiting there for 10 minutes without anyone seeing me. You have to sneak among the customers. They don't have a special place for orders!!

We were there for lunch during the week. The restaurant was full to the last seat and correspondingly noisy. The interior is simple. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately our waitress didn't understand any German; Since she said "yes" several times, we only noticed this when the wrong one was served. The daily menu was quite. The pizza was mediocre, despite some fresh toppings. Portion size was good. Definitely not an insider tip.

Great restaurant, we had bruschetta as a starter, followed by risotto (really tasty, totally successful) and fantastic pizzas. The dessert tiramisu and a bit of sorbet was very generous and convincing. We had a fine rosé all evening which we would happily recommend. The service is of course the highlight of the restaurant, and the ambience and music are also appropriate. Thanks for the great evening - we'll be happy to come back

Pizza and pasta (Fagottini) tasted delicious, we would love to come back. Atmosphere is rather cool, but the volume is very limited, which we found pleasant. We'll be back 🍕🙏🍝🤙🤗

Not open that long. We were very happy that we found “our Carlos” again. Modern restaurant. The four of us ate and everything was great. From the fresh salad to the very good pasta, and pizza perfectly fried, thin crispy dough, ice cream with perfect flavor. Could not be better. Definitely again!!!

Not a very pleasant experience, just went for a drink and the waiter pressured us to leave, because we did not have dinner.The restaurant was half empty and there was enough place for for people to eat. Schade! Waiters were not very welcoming

We went for drinks only but we were not made to feel welcome. The excuse was it was fully booked, but restaurant was nearly empty. To allow us to have a drink or two should have been a smoother process, without the passive aggressiveness of the main waiter.

Food ok to boring. Waiting time is very long and the ordering process is very chaotic. Not suitable for a quick lunch. The restaurant has just opened ;-) maybe that will happen later.

The quality of the food corresponds fully to that of the Cucina Kaserne (where we dined previously). Pizzas and pasta very good, enough grated cheese for the pasta, salad fresh and crunchy. Carlos, the waiter, is a very "snappy" and upbeat guy. The interior is very “clean” i.e. a bit cool. But you can also eat outside. All in all, we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening here.

Pizza is really tasty and the service staff is very friendly. The only thing to complain about is the opening times. Nothing is stated on the official homepage and those on Google are not always correct either. When asked, the staff said that unfortunately there are currently no fixed opening times. So call first or reserve your table online.

We’ve already been twice since it opened and have had the best time. The food not only looks impressive, but it also tastes fantastic. The employees are all very helpful and fast! I can definitely recommend this restaurant.
