Very familiar and ready for any wishes

The rooms are rather small and very rustic with a lot of wood. A bit dusty but somehow it fits Ticino. The restaurant at the beginning of the lakeside promenade is simply great. You sit outside under a pergola at real Ticino granite tables and benches. The food is top quality, almost exclusively Ticino home cooking is served here, e.g. Various antipasti, osso bucco with risotto, Ticino style starter with polenta, Coniglio (rabbit) cremolata with mashed potatoes, Luganighe (Ticino sausage) etc., super friendly, professional staff, very familiar. If you want to experience a great, traditional evening, accompanied by excellent food and of course excellent wines, with a chef's recommendation, this is the right place for you.

Excellent dinner venue. Quiet, intimate and away from lakeside restaurants but still close to lake. Attractive setting under vine covered pergola. Staff attentive and friendly. Food excellent. 100% satisfied.

Very nice and clean hotel. The location is perfect.

The restaurant was very busy that evening, which is why the staff wasn't particularly quick, but that's understandable. Otherwise the staff was friendly. The restaurant is very nice with Ticino flair. The grill at the back of the restaurant is something very special and something I've never seen before. You can watch your own meat being roasted. Otherwise the food was delicious and fine.

Rooms, breakfast and service very good. Big breakfast, bike included in the price. Generally fair price for in the center of Ascona. I will book again :-)
