The restaurant had a lot of potential, but unfortunately the kitchen couldn't convince us. Even though everything seemed fresh, a lot of it didn't have enough flavor. Our entire table unanimously agreed that the ambience was good, but the food was completely mediocre. Unfortunately, we all know better pizzerias, which is why we wouldn't come here again, which is a shame.

Delicious food and great service.

Italian restaurant, service unfortunately without friendliness, gave us the feeling that we should order quickly and then leave quickly. Ambiance designed for fast tourism. Food served without love, pizza was ok but nothing more. Wine wasn't good. It's a shame I don't have to go to this restaurant for so little welcome. Nothing for Swiss.

We eat here every year during Carnival. The cuisine is really Italian and very good. The waiters also do a great job, even when things are extremely busy. The fact that everyone is a native Italian speaker makes the experience even more authentic. What we also really appreciate is that the waiters are willing to charge separately for groups. Very convenient.

We went to the Einhörnli every now and then. Today the chef de “service” Joaquín outdid himself: the white wine for the aperitif was at room temperature. We complained twice and neither the wine was exchanged nor ice cream offered. After dinner and a bottle of Rosso Bolgheri, Joaquín insisted on paying for the warm white wine and was unwilling to offer a replacement. Until Joaquín is replaced by a service-oriented person, this place should be avoided.

Even on "Schmutzigä Donnstig", when the restaurant was crowded, the waiting time for dinner was only about 15 minutes. Excellent service. Even under this stress, always friendly and very attentive. I would love to come back!!

Friendly staff, great location and average prices. My seafood risotto was delicious except that the mussels were undercooked but I suppose that happens. The lasagne was very tasty and the portions were generous.

very good and tasty food! the waiters are very friendly but the restaurant manager in his dark blue suit is very stressed and quite grumpy. he treats his lovely waiters kinda rude and as a costumer you can feel it as well. that’s why i just give 3 stars instead of 5. dear restaurant manager, may you could appreciate a little bit more your team who works obviously good for you. i had the spaghetti with tomatoes, basilica and olive oil. it was very good. thank you otherwise for the table. The service was very poor, I had to be asked several times for everything. Pizza was good but small, ambience was lacking. All in all not recommended.

We had dinner at Tommaso's... it's not entirely clear what relationship there is with Einhorn, the receipt they gave us shows both names... However, decent pasta Bolognese and mediocre pizza arrived long after the pasta. Prices in line with Lucerne, therefore extremely high for an Italian. The service was courteous and precise (apart from the pizza which took a while to wait).

We were looking forward to a cozy evening yesterday, but unfortunately our waiter wasn't very motivated to serve us. Although the restaurant doesn't close until 11pm, we were asked to pay at 10pm in a manner that suggested we leave the restaurant. It's a shame, hospitality looks different!

Visit to the "Restaurant": Unfortunately, my visit to the restaurant was not as impressive as I expected. Right from the start we had to endure an unbearable wait before we were assigned a table. When we finally got seated, it seemed like the waiters had completely forgotten about us. After waving and calling several times, we were finally able to place our order. The food itself was okay, but nothing I would call outstanding. Overall the experience was rather disappointing and I hope management takes note of this and makes improvements.

I would have expected a better Spaghetti 🍝 in such a "famous" Italian restaurant! Tiramisu was however very good "try it!". Espresso ☕ was also very good. Salad 🥗 was as expected. The service was professional and attentive. No pushiness in any kind and always polite and smiling

Service was slow and not that friendly (even though there wasn't much going on), food was probably freshly made, even the pasta was homemade.

After several days of Swiss-fare, we were craving Italian. Einhorn did not disappoint. It's tucked away on a side street, just off the river and lots of shopping all around. The restaurant was fairly big, but felt cozy and old school Italian. The food was clearly made to order. The staff was very friendly and helpful with their recommendations. We tried a variety of items - calzone, pizza, carbonara, and lasagna. Everything was delicious. I would definitely come back if we are ever in Lucerne.

Food was okay except for the children's portion of gnocchi 17 francs instead of 21 francs. I think 17 francs is a bit too expensive.

The pizza tasted good, but it was in the oven a little too long for my taste. Good and nice service. It's a shame that you have to pay an additional amount for the cutlery. Price/performance just about good.

Great place for lunch. I recommend the Unicorn pizza with extra rocket and spicy oil, super tasty. The employees are always on their toes but very nice and attentive. The restaurant is on a shopping street in the old town, so you have to deal with the hustle and bustle.

We came on 8/11, and the sun hit us at noon. After telling the staff, they immediately rolled out the awning. It was super recommended.

Great restaurant with a pretty little terrace and a beautiful room. The food is delicious even if the pizzas could be bigger. The staff is friendly and speaks German, French and English. I'll be back

The service was very bad our waiter was so rude and aggressive to us and we waited for menus 15 min then for food one hour it was horrible the waiter didn’t even bring us cheese for our pastas but we asked him to bring it multiple times. We didn’t like it we are very unsatisfied.

One of my worst experiences was that the food was unripe and I saw an insect in it and when I showed it to him he said it was you who did it and took the plate and hid it and the service was an hour to get pizza very bad When I arrived it took an hour to take the table and the treatment was very primitive and unprofessional. If I was offered free food I wouldn't come back

The lasagne was bland, not baked and cold inside. After my complaint, it was warmed up again. Unfortunately, the lasagne was still only lukewarm and still had no crust. A pity. I imagine Italian hospitality differently.

The food is ok but the waitress was not so friendly.. we are students on budget trip, ordered food to share, and asked for small plates, but been told they’ll charge us 3 CHF for just the plate. The worst is she pointed at us while talking to her colleague in the corner. I mean the plates don’t matter but it’s the way she behaved!

I am sorry to say that the service was terrible. They got my order wrong leading to another 20 minutes wait before I got the right course. I was there alone with my two children both of which are under 3, leading to unessecary stress with the extra waiting time and no bread or anything whilst we were waiting. The food was ok, however no sort of compensation for the wrongdoings and long wait leaves you with a very bad impression.

We eat late, so we went around 6pm to have a snack, we shared a pizza and bought two beers and one wine, they charged extra for sharing our pizza! The food was average.

I was passing through Lucerne to do some errands, and I was a little confused when I looked up the name of the restaurant Einhorn and the word Da Tommaso written on the door. Because it was past dinner time, there were no customers inside. But the service staff is very attentive, but they won't bother you. Some restaurant waiters like to chat awkwardly with you. The service staff at this restaurant are very good. I ordered seafood noodles. When I saw that the shellfish had been finished, the waiter took the bone plate away. He was very discerning! Seafood noodles are not the heavier flavor of traditional pasta, but the first bite is too light. It is already bland for my taste, but I still need to add a little salt. After eating, the noodles will stick to the sauce, and the saltiness is just right. Yes, the seafood noodles are a bit raw, very Italian, and taste very good. I can give 4.2 points for the seafood noodles and 4.3 points for the restaurant as a whole.

The food is actually very good. The portions should be a little larger. The staff is less than great. They bring the aperitif (Aperol Spritz) and the pizza at the same time, no pepper mill on hand. When we didn't want coffee or dessert, he said that was unusual... he can save himself comments like that, it's just annoying. I find the ambience on the upper floor to be quite boring, but that's probably a matter of taste.
