Fleur de Pains in Nyon

I was in Nyon for a short visit and it was a delight finding this cosy coffee house and bakery. I felt welcome and I spent a pleasant morning moment there savouring coffee and a pain au raisin.

Medium quality industrial bakery (franchise)! To flee… The supermarkets in the region have better products for much less…

Let's say that the quality of the bread is not incredible for a "bakery". The bread is often very airy and becomes dry very quickly. It’s a shame that Nyon lacks a good bakery.

The food and coffee is not delicious. Macarons is horrible, it’s not macarons.

The paninis are passable. As for the service... she was in a hurry to take our order to move on to the next person, when she took her time with the previous consumer, it gave me a bad impression

A bit of a poor experience I must say: from the slowness with which they served us (empty place but the shop assistants were busy with something else entirely and didn't even look at us) to the quality of what we got. A coffee and an empty mini cream puff 4.90CHF! Given that the mini cream puff was 0.80CHF, can an espresso really be that expensive? Not to mention that, after a long wait, it is prepared and left there on the tray (to cool!); only when I called them did they deign to bring it to me. And all of a sudden I was standing there watching and wondering why they didn't serve it to me. Too bad, because the showcase was encouraging

CHF 10.50 for a double espressoo and a grape escargot. Total scam and the waitress didn't even ask the question.

Having bought a sandwich to take away, I leave the bakery (Nyon), bite into it and notice that it is completely frozen!!!!! I come back to the bakery to announce the case and say that I find it a little limiting…. The saleswoman offers me no apologies, changes my sandwich and makes me understand that it's not that's fault, but that the fridge is too cold, all in a slightly aggressive tone. I will under no circumstances return to this establishment!

Apparently money is more important than service.. Thank you for selling overpriced supposedly not white bread and oh what a surprise at home the bread is white and almost edible. Go your way. To respond to the owner's response: It's a nice message but given that you are a chain (I discovered it after coming and to be precise a converted photo development store). It would surprise me a lot if the bread was made on site since it's just a window display. Furthermore, it's clearly not bakers who run the store because the people at reception really don't know anything about it.

We regularly come for a snack in this establishment, but the last experience with the waitresses on March 9, 2023 at 4 p.m. was shameful and low-end! My 13 year old daughter took a cookie and a sparkling water from the cash register then sat at the table of her friend who was already there and who was already consuming a drink. At the end of their snack and as they were leaving the waitress spoke to them aggressively, making them both very uncomfortable. she reproached them that they should not eat things to take there and that if the manager was present, she would have screamed!!! These 2 girls never said they were taking it. I deplore this way of speaking to customers, my daughter who is still a child had no idea of ​​saying take away or on site. I assume it's up to the waitress to ask for this information. This story has turned a lot of people off, this is not tolerable from a catering establishment.

I have always been delighted with what I have been able to eat at “Fleur de Pains”. On the other hand, a hot chocolate 🍫 paid 4.20 CHF filled 3/4 with more than lukewarm milk and when I ask if they can warm it up for me➡️they add hot water and well I've never seen that. .Especially with the look that was given to me, a bit of a shame.

Execrable welcome. No hello, no thank you, no service either. I asked to order their special fleur de pains fresh fruit juice, I was told very rudely that they didn't do that. It is however marked on their menu! This very, very unfriendly person wanted to make me pay more for my nestea (a bottle that I myself came to get from their fridge) if I sat on their EMPTY terrace. How can you ask to pay 1/3 more for a cold bottled tea when you do nothing other than collect it! Not to mention this French "baker", who is execrable and has obviously not followed any training, not even knowing how to live!

We went to the bakery this Thursday 07/28/2022 at 12:30 p.m. to order food and sit on the terrace. When we were served, we clarified that we wanted to eat on site but the waitress refused us this, claiming that she had drawn up a menu and that it could not be eaten on site. We asked the reason for this but the waitress was very unfriendly. Despite the quality of the food, we will not come back because we were literally kicked out, to go eat on a bench. It is unacceptable

I have been there several times since my arrival in Nyon last summer, always very friendly and smiling welcome, salads and especially the desserts very good, really fresh orange juice. And recently the chocolate candies for Valentine's Day are a real delight. I would happily return.

My order having been burned, I had to change my choice. The latter cost less and no commercial gesture was offered. No refund or even compensation. The waitresses allowed themselves to laugh at my situation while forcing me to change my order. The only solution offered (ironically) was to give me their old slice of breaded chicken saved from my burned sandwich.

Disappointed with the takeaway dish Bolognese pasta 1 tiny portion of sauce with the meat which didn't even manage to drown at 13.90 frankly it's expensive the pasta I'm not even talking about the meat....

A lady from the staff gave us a bad welcome, speaks badly and it feels like it really annoys her to be there. I will not describe it to avoid problems. But when you're in a bad mood, you don't take it out on customers.

Lovely cute little bakery set essentially in the heart of Nyon. Has all the lilttle pastries you desire and good drink options. Totally recommended.

Very nice store with beautiful and very good products. However the reception is very limited, the person in charge of the sale this afternoon of Thursday April 15 is not very pleasant, begins to serve a customer before having finished with the previous one and stresses the customer a little who takes the time to make your choice. Terrible service, I have rarely seen such an unfriendly and pretentious waitress. I don't understand... Yet there are the best macarons in the region. Many of my friends had said a lot of bad things to me about this bakery, now I understand better after meeting a saleswoman who expressed all her hatred of working on Sundays on the customers.

I have been a customer since the opening. Every morning, I buy a coffee and sometimes some pastries. Every lunchtime I have a salad. Until today I had a lot of fun coming because the staff was very welcoming. But for the past few days, the welcome has not been pleasant at all, I will not come back.

The breads are very good and well cooked. The corner of the small tables is very useful when you have to wait between two appointments, for example with a small hot chocolate which could just be served a little hotter. Fast service and friendly staff.
