Really cute location and good drinks. The food is good but expensive for what you get. The portions are pretty small.

Were here as a group. Food came in individual rounds after 1.5 hours. Side dishes came with small portions without explanation. Turns out even side dishes are supposed to be shared from the same plate. I definitely wouldn't recommend. Prices unclear, portions unclear, meat takes so long to arrive even though it is raw and we have to grill it ourselves on the table anyway. Incomprehensible.

The whole thing seemed pretty disorganized to us.

Good Location for a after work drink or a meet friends. Very efficient on the bar. The bar is full of plants and cool located on the Letten. The Momo’s are first class.

After self-service operation over the summer, we tried out the new table grill offer last Friday, which, according to the restaurant operators, will run until the end of the month, with staffed service. We were very positively surprised. The ambience continues to be excellent and the service and friendliness of the staff are wonderful. We spent another great evening at the house by the river. Thank you :-)

Amazing unique experience! We loved the atmosphere so much! The server Leslie was attentive and helpful – he was fantastic! The food was excellent! Also the Pan Am stairs are cool! My husband and I both work in the airlines and were excited to see those!

Perfect for having a drink, relaxing or for remote working/home office in the summer. Located right next to the Limmat (great view), creative and special location with lots of plants. Self-service - Drinks and food must be picked up at the bar. The food is ok (but not wow) but the homemade iced tea is really tasty. Overall, a top spot because of the location and the ambience!

Nice location right on the river and really good food. Busy on a nice summer evening. Unfortunately, the staff behind the bar seemed a bit grumpy and unwelcoming that night.

Large bar with Mikka Drinks, Negroni (Sbagliato), Aperol Spritz and much more and the finest Asian/Indian menus. Ordering/paying is done at the bar. The most popular option is of course the seating counter with a direct view of the Limmat BUT when it rains, the covered seats are already occupied. So choose carefully...

Nice view on the Limmat. Can be booked for large teams and I would recommend booking a table if more than 2 people joins. The meat momos are really good and the Negroni spagliato well made. A bit of variation in the quality of the cocktail depending of the bartender. I will come back for sure.

The food was ready for pickup 3 minutes after ordering. Unfortunately, the dish had apparently been sitting on the counter for a long time, so the rice was hard and inedible. Far too expensive and the service is overwhelming. Sorry, it's okay!

Cozy and beautifully designed accommodation to relax, celebrate and then enjoy the day. The afterparty for the street parade was really relaxed and cozy here. Great DJs, well-solved toilet situation and large selection of drinks :)

Oh wow, there’s not a lot to say about that please. It’s just beautiful … nature, plants water... literally a little hideaway with amazing, freshly cooked food. It’s always full, but you also always find a place to sit.

Very nice place on the Limmat, quiet and spacious. Nice for a drink or a snack. We tested the mix of Momo's (vegetarian and meat) which were excellent.

Very good place to eat. They have a very short menu but everything is very delicious. Very well made and elaborate Thai food. We have ordered chicken with ginger and it was delicious. Very nice waiters. In summer it has to be a pleasure but in winter I find it complicated. It is an open space and it is quite cold if you have a difficult month.

Here we ate the worst momos. After waiting for over an hour, the momos weren't good at all. Lukewarm and rubbery. The location is great, but the prices are way too expensive for the fact that you have to get everything yourself and are not served and the food is bad.

I've eaten at House by the River a few times and have never been disappointed. No matter whether lunch or dinner. Good quality, deliciously prepared. Staff super friendly. Location...beams me on vacation...absolutely brilliant.

Self-service restaurant right on the river. Very nicely furnished and decorated with lots of plants. The food tastes good, but it's nothing special and therefore rather overpriced. But definitely recommended for a drink.

Location is pretty good actually ,music was missing .. the food was not good not tasty at all , THE Momos are the only dish that you can enjoy there We where there a group of 11 people and everyone has to go to the bar and take a order for drinks and for food you have to stay in a lane to order your stuff Like you are ordering in Mcd food (what was that ) they have so many workers there at least the could take an order Its also expensive for that that you have to do your own service for a non tasty food The barista who was making drinks he was so slow and unmotivated For sure Im not coming back there again

The next hipster bar in Zurich. Expensive food, expensive beer, loud, and of course they don't take normal money. The second star is because the food wasn't enough, but at least it was good

It is a nice place with a nice environment to chill in a “green” environment next to the Limmat river. Nevertheless it can get crowded and the food can take a bit long. The price may be a bit high for the size of the portion, but the taste of the food is good. I would say it is rather better place to have some drinks and snacks than for dinner.

The food was really whitewashed for my taste didnt have any flavors. The Vegetables were straight out the freezer. Really cheap quality food for such a hefty price. Atmosphere was pretty nice on some places a bit too loud for my taste but not that bad. The atmosphere was the only good thing sadly...

I love everything about this place! We were a group of eight on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Perfect location, tasty food and Elias was an absolute professional, making us all two rounds of Spicy Mango Margaritas; such a treat and it made our time at Haus am Fluss even more memorable!

The location is great and the employees are also very friendly. Unfortunately the food is inedible. Pasta overcooked and swimming in sauce, vegetables still almost raw. Food presentation unappetizing. That's a shame, because otherwise everything is fine there.

Service was terrible and it took an hour to prepare our order. Food was good by Zurich standards but not amazing. Atmosphere is cool.

Prices and small vegan offerings are not convincing. You have to work on it again.

Only went for a drink. Had this nice pink spritz that tastes sweet and is delicious! Glad we sat on the side of the bar that is facing the river cause inside the music is suuuper loud. Otherwise really a cool place, lots of plants everywhere, the roof with the wood is beautiful. Haven't tasted the food but will come back. On the other side it's true that there's nobody to clean the tables. You have to take the glasses away from the previous person yourself. Cocktail glasses could be a bit bigger. Once ice cubes are added it makes it a full glass but in reality the quantity of alcohol/Prosecco etc is very small! Anyway, well done for setting up such a great little oasis in Zurich!

Location unbeatable, staff very friendly & attentive and the music and ambience fit perfectly - it's not too loud and very harmonious. The only thing is that the prices for the food are way too high and the portions are way too small. I'd be happy to pay more, but I'd also like to be full!

Was exactly as I expected in the reviews. All of my and my friends' food was cold, Momo's was completely dried out on the outside, but we ordered meat and got a mix. Edamame rock hard. The website says “All Big Bites are served with jasmine rice” but my friends’ dishes arrived without rice. Then you approach a service employee and they don't notice you and don't respond to the complaint professionally. He also became very cheeky and the way he spoke to my colleague as an employee, I would immediately hand in my resignation. There's a lot to train and improve... come on ;) Drinks taste good, good value for money and a great ambience! However, the food is completely overrated and overpriced for such portions. The main thing is sales but not quantity and quality.

I feel really ripped off by Haus am Fluss. I just waited 1 hour 15 minutes for my food. And then it was even wrong. I'm vegi and ordered tofu, but it was sold out and then they just gave me a meat version. Same thing with the momos, vegi ordered, got mixed.

nice place, cool view, ok vibe. unfortunately the kitchen is a mess. Twice the food was wrong, they made a dish with meat for a vegetarian who ordered tofu. more than 1 hour waiting for the food. It's SUPER expensive! 3 small pieces of chicken with a piece of sweet potato 30.- . unbelievable. Drinks okay.

The location is second to none! Absolute holiday feeling on the Limmat - the food is fresh and super authentic - I'll definitely be back.

Nice location, you wait too long for the food (for us it was 50' and it wasn't completely full), the wrong food was served and so you received a "half-fix" instead of a new meal. Attitude from service so mediocre and food already overpriced for the amount.

Beautiful venue directly next to the river. The food is more European with asian touch and was too whitewashed for me but others might see that different. The prices are definitely on the upper limit and for a self service place that's a bit too much. Plus, the runners are not doing a good job. If you ask for so much money for food and drinks one can expect to have clean tables. We had to empty our table ourselves and after food they only pick up your plates but no one is wiping anything. Even McDonald's does a better job. Typical for Zurich, in the rest rooms you find left overs from drugs on the surfaces. Nothing new here and speaks for the wannabe hip and fancy crowd that you'll find there. Not sure if I would come again. Definitely not for food.

You can do it. Food and drinks were quite expensive but good.

The spot is (probably) the coolest vibe for outdoor eating in Zurich. Full of plants, open air, big and next to the river. Food portion and taste can be improved and the service can get smoother. Nevertheless I’d recommend it for a sunny day. I will come back, hoping that it gets even better and graduates to becoming the favourite in town.

I and my friends went there around 11 pm they refused to serve us claiming the bar would have closed in 10 minutes. After an hour we walked past it and it was still open. Maybe the fact that we are blacks played a role in this misadventure.

cool location, good selection of beer & drinks, waited an hour for the food and then unfortunately it was lukewarm and not at all as described, feedback was given directly to the staff when asked, but didn't seem to be particularly interested

Fantastic location and the venue. However..... It's 100% SMOKING "indoor." Every single table has an ashtray. Almost every other tables have smokers. And another reviewer is right. No cleaning stuff. Only a guy comes around with a basket to take the dishes away but not wiping tables. And the bathroom is already falling apart, trash bins overflowing, and no toilet papers around. Otherwise, it's just so so so beautiful.
