The food is ok, rather below Hiltl standard, but the price isn't worth it. Especially not for families. 2 drinks and a large bowl of fries 29 CHF! Where are these prices that are suitable for swimming pools and for families with several children? And then pay the entrance fee. We'd rather go to Badi Rüschlikon in the future.

My visit to Hiltl am See was simply wonderful! The restaurant offers stunning lake views and a great atmosphere. The food was delicious and varied, with a wide range of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The service was friendly and attentive. I can only warmly recommend Hiltl am See and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Hiltl am See is an exceptional restaurant that exceeded my expectations. The location right on the lake offers breathtaking views and creates a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the service was excellent.

Unreliable selection of what's on offer and you can't rely on what you find here. Open until 9 p.m. and max. 50% selection. Very disappointing and I won't use it again!

The place is absurdly overpriced. It's a self service buffet with vegetarian food. Nothing wrong with that, but if a portion for one person ends up costing 30 francs, something is wrong.

I love the restaurant anyway, but then in a swimming pool, really cool 🥰😍 The food on offer is pretty similar to that of any other Hiltl. The prices are rather high, but that's not unusual for a Hiltl, so you're happy to pay more. 😊 Really, great to have such high quality food in a Badi. I'll always come back, thank you 💖

Great location with the longest bar on Lake Zurich

Beautiful Location & very Nice Buffet. If you dont take just a platte with fried Stuff or food with fillings, is not that Expencive for a Vegetarien/Vegan Buffet. The Workers are very friendly and they try to Make your “special request” coming true☺️

Way too expensive, we bought some watermelon for 27.- Absolutely not worth it.

It's only unfortunat that they don't have the wide selection they have in the main restaurant, would have really enjoyed that.

We bought a few slices of watermelon, cost us 27fr.- all just water weight!!!! The melon wasn’t even good, it was very squishy. Disgusting!!! I don’t recommend. Serivice is very rude and weird!!

Great food, friendly service, and an idyllic setting. Hiltl am See improves the already great experience at Badi Kilchberg. I had a late breakfast before the lunch buffet was ready, and the spinach quiche was excellent. There's also a full service bar at the waterfront, with other offerings like a Corona bucket with Mex chips &dip.

Brownie & chocolate ice cream? Probably more like chocolate ice cream. A ridiculous little piece of brownie was briefly placed on top of the ice cream before it was frozen. The ice cream definitely cannot be sold as brownie & chocolate ice cream. In addition, the ice cream was so frozen that it had to be defrosted before consumption. 5.50 is probably rather expensive for a chocolate ice cream. The rating only refers to the ice cream. The food itself was tasty but also expensive ;). But that's what we're used to from Hiltl.

It's delicious but I do wish they had a bit more kid friendly dishes besides vegetarian nuggets, fries and dry noodles. All the other food is delicious! Not cheap but delicious!

There is a very wide selection of food here. The buffet looks very well maintained. Only vegetarian dishes. If you want a sausage, you're better served at the grill stand outside.

Excellent location especially in summer and with the sun. Swimming pool, lake, green lawn. In short, everything to enjoy a good lunch in relaxation with the family. The restaurant is buffet style. The choice of dishes varies, including vegetables and salads. Food is paid by weight, I think it's 4.5 francs per 100 grams. There are both hot and cold dishes. All good. Drinks of all kinds. Super nice and helpful staff. I'll be back.

So, unfortunately it's not a big hit for meat eaters. Because you can only have something meaty from 5 p.m. (for example, pork and veal sausages or hot dogs, I think! Unfortunately, there isn't much of a meat-based selection!) Unfortunately, I also think that the food isn't warm either , but rather soggy and lukewarm. And quite steep prices for self-service and what you put on your plate yourself. There is something for children too, but only for CHILDREN. It's very good to see that it's really for the child. (Price 5.- Fr.) I'm sorry, but this is just my opinion.

Good food, change from restaurants in other Badis, prices quite high.

This self-service is located within the Kilchberg swimming pool/beach area. The offer is good, however due to lack of space, it is less extensive than in the city of Zurich. The staff is smiling and friendly. Very good quality!

....und ungesund. Essen ist sehr fettig zubereitet und sündhaft teuer. Viele besucher nehmen das essen mit in die Badeanstalt anstatt CHF 20 bezahlen für eine kleine portion Vegi. Reis oder Kartoffeln auf die Wage ist zu teuer und leider kein fleisch. Die Gemeinde Kilchberg soll das Angebot nochmals überlegen.

Very nice place to go with family after the crowd left... around 7pm for a last swim with kids and then a light dinner with a beer or glass of wine for grown ups... food is pricey though

Packed! A microwave oven to heat food for the little ones, given the enormous turnout of families with newborns, would be an appreciated service. Well-kept structure but too small given the turnout. Perhaps a maximum number of entries should be introduced not to the restaurant but to the entire lido.

We go to the seaside resort of Kilchberg (near the Lindt & Sprüngli factory) very often and it is always an incredible experience. The seaside resort with its many attractions and affordable entry prices complements the fine Hiltl Restaurant, which offers fair prices and great food, especially for children. Also a big thank you to Andy who maintains this shop with a lot of heart and enthusiasm!

Average food - quality has deteriorated.

You hardly notice they only serve vegetarian food with the tasty variety offered. Buffet-Style and easy to select, slightly pricey but great offering for a Badi restaurant! Our kids love the small kiddie bowl options (cheaper). Great coffee and healthy drinks too.

I come here all the time for lunch as I work nearby and also come to the badi. Good range of vegetarian food, hot and cold salads, always very tasty, particularly like the paneer curry when it's on. Food not always quite hot enough and a little on the pricey side but so much better than the normal badi food and other lunch options in the area. Great coffee (they also do a soya option) and yummy brownies. Service has always been very friendly. I just wish it was open all year round. It also gets v busy on sunny days but there's always a seat. Love that they have a kid step so the kids can choose easily. (Little tip - please can we have small plates/card tray to put cakes on.)

Before the Kilchberg Badi Renovations, there was a terrible Cafe for basic foods there. But it stayed passive in the background and served its purpose to feed starving children and get a bite while enjoying a nice sunny day or evening on the lake. After the renovation Hiltl took it over and brought with the standard package of boring cold salads and such from his downtown restaurant. If you like that stuff then enjoy it. But it's sad how they still continue on some evenings playing the loud techno music and orienting the pool area around his restaurant and image. Would be nice if there was a bit more change in selection over time too to not have to eat the same old salad buffet every time, every year. Would love to see a change in food and provider and one that promotes a nice Lake experience as opposed to his own logo. It's not exactly cheap either not even reasonably priced except for the kids bowl.

Estamos comiendo en Hiltl am See sobre una base regular y como mucho!Ayer nos encontramos por primera vez que la comida era menos excepcional de lo que normalmente es. Los platos calientes todo parecía que había estado ahí de pie bajo las lámparas de calentamiento durante bastante tiempo. . . .Espero que no vuelva a suceder.

La comida buffet hiltl calle que aquí es increíble si eres vegetariano. La comida es fresca y sabrosa y tiene una gran selección. El inconveniente es que me cuesta 25 CHF para llenar mi plato con una cantidad generosa. Tienen una gran oferta para los niños menores de 12 años para llenar una taza por sólo 5 chf, sin embargo yo soy incapaz de pasar el nuggets vegetal como la realidad. Las patatas fritas y el chile jalapeño poppers son sobre todo los niños comer, a menos que tengas una ensalada con la comida.

Me gusta este lugar para probar. Y vaya repetidamente. porque es el único lugar en este área para nadar junto al lago. Es vegetariano, pero no es saludable. Un montón de aceites y frito cosas. Tengo interés de gas cada vez que comimos allí. El sabor está bien, pero después de sentir constantemente horrible para mí

Die Badi wäre ja nicht schlecht, wåre da nicht die Bademeisterin. Alles wird penibel genau kontrolliert und korrigiert. Freundlichkeit absolut nicht vorhanden, sprich die Dame hat wohl vergessen das Sie im Dienstleistungssektor arbeitet mit zahlender Kundschaft. Weshalb keine Schwimmhilfen gebraucht werden dürfen, konnte Sie mir nicht erklåren. Aber der Ton war scharf und knallhart. Die Erfahrung hat uns gereicht, dann lieber wieder öffentlich an See.

In the Kilchberg baths a very good vegetarian restaurant. The option for the bathing area is a buffet by weight and for children, single-price cups. A multitude of salads and dishes that vary almost daily so as not to be repetitive. The kids loved the nuggets and they didn't realize they were made from soy and wheat.

What a fantastic array of tasty food - nothing better than loading up your plate at the self service counter with as much or as little as you want....choices are not easy, it's all good!! Food is weighed and paid for accordingly...the benefit of a top notch restaurant at the seebad speaks for itself!!! It's always full and they're always topping up the platters with freshly prepared food!!

E' la mia piscina sul lago preferita...prato verde, piscinetta per i piu' piccoli con spruzzi d'acqua, piscina per i piu' grandi, scivolo che scende nel lago! Inoltre non è dispersiva è ha un discreto bar/ristorante! All'interno poi c'è anche un piccolo negozietto che vende costumi, infradito, braccioli, giornali...molto utile nel caso ti fossi dimenticato a casa qualche pezzo!!

Gewohnte Hiltlqualität und -küche. Viel Frisches, Leichtes, aber auch "Badiküche" wie Pommes Frites, Grilladen (AUCH FLEISCH nicht immer, aber zu bestimmten Zeiten - siehe Homepage).

War letzten Sommer einige Male da und ist super gemütlich und eine angenehme Atmosphäre! :)Am Abend (ich glaube jeweils Freitags), spielt ein DJ gute Musik und es können feine Drinks geschlürft werden :)Über Mittag hat es jeweils auch Geschäftsleute, welche ihren Mittag bei feinem Essen verbringen - wenn du ohne Badekleidung kommst und nur das Restaurant besuchst, muss kein Eintritt bezahlt werden...

Dank dem Hiltl im Seebad Kilchberg habe ich die Vielfalt der vegetarischen Küche schätzen gelernt. Wir haben in den letzten zwei Sommersaisons (2014/15) oft hier gegessen und waren immer begeistert. Die Auswahl ist gross, deshalb kann auch jedesmal gut variiert werden. Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich. Die Preise für ein Badrestaurant nicht gerade billig. Aber: Qualität kostet zu recht!
