Hund Bar in Zürich

A typical pseudo-inclusive club: We received an “awareness briefing” upon entry, which I found to be very legitimate (“We all love each other.”, “Report immediately if there are any problems,” “Be careful.” etc.). But when I wanted to order a Vodka-Redbull at the bar, the bartender immediately replied: "We don't have it, and we don't want it either." When I asked, puzzled, "what that meant," she realized the inconsistency of her statement in the context of the club. The supposed openness of the techno scene: The exclusion of a "clientele" due to their choice of drink (Vodka-Redbull - with the clearly implicit exclusion of male foreigners) is a prime example of the neo-left scene - I see and understand the problems of certain values ​​that are associated with these stereotypes collide, but then please don't claim the tolerance bar for yourself and at least be honest. As a foreigner with a progressive and ACTUALly inclusive mindset, I was once again shown our undesirability - unfortunately even by my supposedly political "allies". It's a shame - but not surprising.

A bit pretentious and when I was there the DJ and sound system simply weren’t good. Also they screwed up in the wardrobe so I had to wait 30min to get my jacket back for leaving..

Staff is incredibly kind, helpful and funny.

Very fine cocktails (e.g. one with yuzu, sake, thyme, vermouth, ...), beautiful interior (love the lava lamp projection) and relaxed atmosphere.

There is a great atmosphere in the bar. Very good prices. Can only recommend it. #New regular bar!

Wonderful temporary jewel. The interior impresses with warm tones, beautiful furniture and great attention to detail. The drinks menu with selected self-created drinks, lots of natural wine and fine instant noodles with toppings is also appealing. Very suitable and recommended for relaxing, but also for soldering! 11/10.

Nice and cozy atmosphere with a balanced and creative drinks menu! My personal highlights are the pepper cocktail and the solid bar snacks in the form of various noodle soups 😋
