Excellent bar and sandwich shop. A great atmosphere and excellent sandwiches make Jaime El Barco special. The prices are very advantageous compared to the competition.

The gentlemen who work in the shop prefer to drink and smoke with their friends all day long and are annoyed when guests come in. You don't like to be served, and you're sometimes shouted at that you're not allowed to take your umbrella in. The map is also very poor. How the store has survived for years is a mystery.

A bar with super delicious paninis, which is also open at lunchtime. We always enjoy going there :)

The kitchen closes an hour early, garbage.

8pm no food then you don't need, there are plenty of other places!

Panini in a class of its own in numerous variations for meat and vegetarian lovers. Colorful salads, side dishes and other little things, freshly prepared. Plus a selection of select beers (e.g. Grimmbergen) and delicious wines. The friendly and well-positioned host couple Vivien and Julien are always friendly and customer-oriented. Individual panini requests are creatively fulfilled. I have been happy to be a welcome guest here for well over 10 years. The 20 km journey is worth it to enjoy the best panini; my favorite, the Milanese with roast beef and tartar sauce. A small oasis for foodies, five minutes walk from Oerlikon train station, be it for lunch or dinner. By the way – Thank you Julien and Vivien!

ATTENTION: The owner of the bar is extremely aggressive. I was punched in the neck when I questioned whether the price was correct. My recommendation is to stay away from the bar if possible.

AGRESSIVE SERVICE!!! I was insulted with curse words and threatened with violence in this restaurant!!! Just because we wanted a separate bill.

Classic pub with an urban interpretation in an architecturally modern setting. A good place to end the day, whether indoors or on the terrace when the temperatures are warm.

Actually I've never been to a "dirty" pub like this in Switzerland, but only saying in a good way.... It has a charm and it was good not to be in a tidy posh place for a change.. Reminded me of home... 😊

Screaming and yelling customers acting like an animals. Residents cannot sleep. Restaurant is open up to 1200 am. Who allows this? This is jungle. I do not recommend the place.

The Jaime is definitely the best pub in Zurich North. It's really small and beautifully decorated in an Irish-English style, with dark wood and a sailor's outfit. The staff is extremely accommodating, eye contact is enough for the next beer... I was also offered a mini beer.

Very good panini. The portion size is a little too small for the price, but the taste and quality of the products are noticeably good. Long waiting time at lunchtime - definitely leave early. The outdoor seating is really cool when the weather is nice.

Die versteckte Paninotheca ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, die Panini werden warm auf schwarzen Schieferplatten serviert, das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt!

I went here to try the “best paninis in town”, as adverised on a chalk blackboard panel nearby. They had a great selection of breads and paninis (at least 10-12) and they were indeed really tasty. Would recommend!

Nice place to grab a piadina for lunch, fair prices, good quality ingredients. Can be a bit of a wait if you get there peak-times (12-12.15) but it's rarely that bad and if you go when it's a bit quieter service is quick.

Very nice place for after work beer. They have quite good drinks selection even if some could be improved. The atmosphere is nice and familiar and the owner, who speaks fluently several languages, always friendly and very professional.

Eine Bar & Paninoteca in Neu-Oerlikon etwas versteckt hinterm Max-Bill-Platz. Rustikales Schiffsambiente, mit ausgebauter Auswahl an Bier und Paninis. Ein zwangloses Lokal, mit schnellem, aufmerksamem Service und einem sehr familiärem Umgangston. Kein schnick schnack, dafür auf den Punkt authentisch. Es gibt Paninis in verschiedenen Variationen die Warm serviert werden, auf Wunsch auch zum teilen geschnitten. Nachos mit Käse und Fleisch überbacken. Es wird Sport auf drei Fernsehern übertragen und die Musik ist vielfältig durchmischt, wie das Publikum. Von Jung bis Alt, vom Lehrling bis zum Topmanager alles dabei. Wird auch immer wieder für Apéros und verschiedenen Festen genutzt. Ist immer was los und man fühlt sich wohl. Verdursten wird man hier nie! Prost!

Jaime el Barco es un buen lugar para tomar una copa después del trabajo o para un apero. El personal puede organizar con gusto una mesa separada con torre de cerveza y deliciosos bocadillos. El ambiente interior también es diferente en comparación con la mayoría de los otros lugares elegantes en Zurich.

Amazing place to hang out after work

They have a quite good panini variety offer. Service and order may be sometimes a bit slow but mostly for the many people that come at lunch time. Easy, relaxed atmosphere and good quality to price.

comfortable in itself. Unfortunately it's a bit too dark to read something with a beer after work. and there is smoking and smoking and not just anything. The innkeeper sits at the bar table, watches, and his friends smoke cigarillos. Absolute no go, avoid at all costs as long as that doesn't change. very unfortunate!

neu zugezogen und auf der suche nach einer feierabendbeiz. wirkt gemütlich, aber... beim ersten mal gibt‘s faule witze von den kumpels vom wirt. beim zweiten besuch qualmt die ganze hütte, inklusive wiederum die kumpels vom wirt, der am gleichen tisch sitzt und wiederum nicht einschreitet. naja, schade. die suche geht wohl weiter.

Es el nombre del juego: el interior está lleno de equipos de barcos - incluso hay un barco colgando del techo, lo que lo hace el acogedor bar y la individual. Muchos lugareños que bienvenida muy amable y le invitamos a unirse. El dueño habla muchos idiomas y le gusta los pedidos sin complicaciones. Sin duda, un sitio orientado a la cerveza y bebidas con precios moderados y excelente paninis.

Nice place for an after-work apero.

Ambiente und Drinks und Preise waren total okay, aber der Service (vom Chef) war leider dermassen schlecht!Wir waren in einer Gruppe da, alle haben am Schluss ihre Konsumation bezahlt und ich halt ganz am Schluss meine, wo halt noch ein Cola Zero und ein Rotwein offen geblieben ist... er wurde eher unfreundlich und hat gemeint, das sei wohl mein Problem und ich müsse das jetzt bezahlen... ich hatte diese zwei Getränke nicht, daher wohl eher sein Problem...

Wir hatten eine Bankett 50 Personen, service war nett und sehr aufmerksam, Finger food ist zum empfehlen und preiswert. Und sehr schonen Biergarten.

Die haben es nicht im Griff mit den Bestellungen. Nach der Bestellung bezahlt man schön brav, muss dann aber froh sein, dass man das bestellte Panini auch erhält. Die Bedienung schreit herum und nimmt die Paninis in die Hand und schaut nach, was drin ist. Notabene die gleiche Person, welche das Geld entgegengenommen hat. Ein Kollege hat mit extra Beilagen bestellt, diese aber nicht bekommen. Absolut unprofessionell und eine Frechheit!

Ich bin oft am Mittag zu Gast. Die Paninis werden nach der Bestellung an den Tisch serviert. Irgendwie schafft es Vivienne und ihr Team immer, dass alles Gäste das richtige Essen erhalten. Es werden ja keine Nummern oder dergleichen ausgegeben. Ich bin begeistert. Lockere Stimmung, schöne Plätze auch draussen.

Fantastischer Ort für einen Aperitif und Abendessen zu tun mit einer besonderen und sehr gut Panini. . . Der Chef Juliano ist sehr freundlich. . . Ich schlage vor, Sie besuchen das Quartier Latin. . .

Jaime ist eine unkonventionelle Bar in Neu-Oerlikon direkt hinter dem Courtyard Marriot am Max Bill Platz.Abends laufen immer Sportevents am TV, ein Töggelikosten lädt zum spielen ein und die Auswahl an Drinks ist toll.Kühles Bier, feiner Weisswein, fancy Drinks, usw.Einfach mal reinschauen und abhängen.

Inzwischen pensioniert fahre ich eine halbe Stunde um mit meinen Freunden in lässigem Ambiente die besten Panini weit und breit zu geniessen. Freundliche Bedienung durch die sympathische Vivienne und ihr Team. Qualität und Preisleistung top.

Super schneller Service, geile Paninis und angenehmes Klientel. Nicht umsonst meine Stammbeiz. Grosse Auswahl an Bier und ein aussergewöhnliches Innendesign. Geniale Terrasse für den Sommer!!!

Das Jaime bietet über den Mittag feine, preiswerte Paninis. Am Abend ist es einladend für einige Bierchen. Es hat eine Dart-Scheibe und einen Töggeli-Kasten.

Das Jaime bietet am Mittag frisch zubereitete Paninis mit Zutaten der Spitzenklasse. Mein Favorit ist das Milanese mit Roastbeef. Am Abend ist die Bar mit dem besten Barkeeper der Welt(!) der ideale Treffpunkt für ein kühles Bier zum Feierabend oder ein gemütliches Dart oder Tischfussball. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und sehr gesellig, Job und Position spielen hier keine Rolle, man ist einfach Gast. Ich komme auf jeden Fall weiterhin!

Das Ambiente ist nett, genau wie das Personal. Das Essen ist auch gut und die Preise passen. Nur die lange Wartezeit ist für mich unverständlich, wenn wir sogar die ersten Gäste im Restaurant waren.
