K-Street Toast in Zürich

Great food, great service and generally a very cool place, even if the food is a bit more expensive, I think it's justified because the food is really great and the portion/quantity isn't bad for the price. But it's clear that it's on the more expensive side anyway because the restaurant is in the middle of Zurich and everything there is a bit expensive anyway. 👍👍

We had the chicken sandwich and the avocado one. It's one the best sandwiches we ever had. It's very expensive but worth it.

The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The sandwich was delicious made with fresh ingredients full of flavour. Couldn’t recommend enough! I saw this place on TikTok and when visiting from London we wanted to try it out and it did not disappoint, FYI only a Swiss card payment ( I think it was called Twint) is accepted which we didn’t have so make sure you have cash!

The food was great! Unfortunately we had to wait about 30 minutes for 4 toasts. I recommend ordering the food and not going there.

After having read multiple posts about "K-Street Toast" on various social media sites, we decided to give it a try, as the food looks so tasty. I had wanted to order the "Mr. Kim Toast" with Bulgogi beef. This unfortunately already sold out when we came. I ordered the "Cheat Day" instead, which comes with bacon, scrambled egg, garlic bread, and sweet mayo. Don't get me wrong, it was good. So why am I only giving 3 stars you may ask. The reason is that while it is good, it's also not much more than an egg toast and at 16.00 Fr. totally overpriced in my opinion. I understand that they'll argue that the bread is made by John Baker Bakery - that however still doesn't justify charging 16 Fr. for an egg sandwich.

Was tasty!!!!!! Friendly and good recommendation. Egg cooked nicely and brioche aswell bacon for my taste not crispy enough but could have asked and all together was delicious. Chicken super crispyyyyyyy !!! Could have been more spicy but spicy sauces are available to add.

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time, and the wait was definitely worthy. We took one brioche bread with meat and one with eggs (and I believe shrimps). The taste was rich and intense, towards the sweet side (I had sweet corn in my sandwich) but really flavourful. I read a few reviews saying most of the ingredients sit in the top of the sandwich and for the scrambled eggs one this was really not the case, even if my boyfriend had a slice of egg right on top of his sandwich. We found them to be stuffed until the very last bite and the brioche bread was buttery and crispy but not excessively. Thai said, all of the sauce make it very tasty, but weather this is healthy it’s a whole different thing. I would 100% recommend tough because something like this in Zurich was missing and with more seats outside the whole experience would be more enjoyable.

Straight forward, quick and delicious!!

Very greasy and loads of mayo. Basically that was the only taste I could feel. Also eggs were slightly sweet. Maybe that’s the way it’s supposed to be, but just not my thing.

This is simply a Warning to anyone who orders there over Too Good To Go. Their Opening Time doesn't match with the PickUp Time, hence confusing Customers. Please change it or take it down. On the other Hand it's a nice little PopUp Store.

The Korean Street Toast was absolutely delicious. I would always recommend going to this place. I would recommend going there when there is good weather due to the fact that they don’t have a location to sit inside.

Delicious! And the staff is really nice. Although they are mainly egg sandwiches, my friend wanted one without eggs. We sat in the ventral and they even brought it to us. The chef had forgotten without an egg and when the gentleman who brought us the food noticed, he brought us free fries/potato wedges. I can highly recommend these! They were also super tasty, crispy and fresh

It is a sandwich, loaded sandwich. It was ok, except that the bread was not filled to the bottom. I do not recommend French fries. To go there once is enough.

We didn't like the sandwiches, didn't taste like much... We took Mr. Kim, Cheat day and fries. Fries were barely salted. Overpriced

Here you can find Korean egg toasts in different variations such as bulgogi, avocado and co. The egg toast we ordered was tasty, a little more salt would have been nice. The bread is super fluffy and is sourced from John Baker. You can also order the toasts in brioche bread. Only take away possible, card payment available. The avo toast cost 16 francs, prices are generally between 16 and 20 francs. The egg toasts are currently also available in Café Lange at Limmatplatz.

1. The fact that you have to eat outside and still pay so much is a bit questionable 2. The young gentleman at the checkout gave me the wrong sandwich even though I'm sure I ordered everything correctly 3. The food really isn't worth the hype. The bread, although soft, is not at all juicy (rather dry) and the egg - the main ingredient - is not seasoned at all, making it very tasteless. But the fries are delicious

Very tasty toast creations. Found it trending on Instagram. It tastes great, but a waiting time of over 45 minutes is not reasonable for this price.

Just a fast food place over the window with a few benches outside but the sandwiches are great. I particularly enjoyed the corn ribs. Definitely worth trying!

Wow, I'm really impressed! The food was delicious and exceeded my expectations! I think the prices are totally reasonable and the waiting time was very short! There was also very friendly service. I will definitely come back and look forward to the next time! :)

Tried the avocado brioche toast sandwich and the chicken bun sandwich. The chicken bun was good, the flavours complemented each other, however for the price the size of the chicken was small and it also tasted a bit dry, as if fried twice. Would have liked it if it was juicy. The avocado brioche toast was fine, the filling was only in the top half, and the bottom half of the sandwich was just you eating dry bread. I would have liked it if the scrambled eggs were seasoned with pepper, it tasted quite bland specially after the first few bites when you are out of the sauce and avocado on the top and only get the taste of egg and toast. There is option to sit at the bench outside the counter for which you also have to order a drink from the bar, which is mandatory. Otherwise you can just takeaway.

I recently tried the Korean egg toast at this street food place, and I must say, the brioche toast was absolutely excellent! The service was impressively quick, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The eggs were cooked to perfection, although I found them a bit bland. It would be great if they offered the option to include a spicy sauce during preparation, as adding Sriracha with every bite became a bit cumbersome. Overall, a tasty treat with room for a little extra kick!

The food is delicious. The only thing that bothered me and my boyfriend, was that the ingredients were mostly at the top of the toast, so all you got to eat by the end were eggs and some sauce. If they were to improve this thing, it would make it absolutely a 5/5. The price is very high because of the food’s good quality, but in the end it’s still worth it for at least a try. If I were them, I would try adding more sports to sit down. there are a lot of costumers and there is only one long bench. maybe some more tables would be right enough aswell. The employees were super nice and I really hope the best for this buisness! Hope they can make it higher and open a great restaurant one day, would be very nice. The line is pretty big so you do have to wait a bit. If they were to open a bigger place and hire more employees, this would be the best place!!

It is a very Instagramable place but the taste of the food is quite blant.

Incredible Korean sandwiches that make the wait in the queue completely worth it. The sandwiches are outstanding, uniques and tasty. If you're a fan of delicious, inventive sandwiches, this place is a must-visit.

Very good and worth the price. Sadly most ingredients were on the top half so you basically end up with half a sandwich with just scrambled eggs. With that improvement, these could easily be my number one sandwiches in the area.

The toasts are extremely tasty but unfortunately a bit too small and too expensive. When we arrived shortly after the store opened, we were told that it would take another 30 minutes until they were ready. After ordering, it took another relatively long time until we received our toasts.

For the price, the experience was a disappointment. The quantity of the sandwich, freshness of the toast, bulgogi meat and service at the counter were all not super good.

The food itself is delicious but what I find very unfortunate is that almost half of the menu was not available. There were no fries or blooming onions. There was no toast either, only buns. What is also not correct is that you want to order something at exactly 11:30 and are then sent away and told that we should come back in 15 minutes. After 10 minutes we arrived and there were about 10 people in front of us who had all already ordered. They could have at least taken the order so that we wouldn't have to wait so long. The price is also too high for the small portion you get. I don't want to name any restaurants, but you can eat a burger in the best places in Zurich for the same price for less money and at least you'll be full from the portion. I now compare it to burgers because you only had the buns to choose from anyway. The 30 minute walk ended up being almost for nothing. I don't want to badmouth you, just accept it as a suggestion for improvement :) Maybe it will work on the next visit.

+ Great food + Location cool - Price performance is weak, the largest sandwich like this should cost between 8.- and 14.- max, it is half the size of a kebab... I didn't compare the quality to the kebab but the size!!!

Very good food, unfortunately you have to expect a certain waiting time as there can be a queue (I was there in the evening on a weekday and waited 40 minutes). Price is a little high but I think it's worth trying.

You can try it but didn't find anything special. Unfortunately, the meat was very stingy. Unfortunately, the prices are too high for the fact that there are no tables and chairs and since you're leaving a lot of money there anyway, it's cheeky to charge the customers for mayo and ketchup

Bread is good but portions are tiny for the price. Yes, even for Zurich. Some scrambled eggs, sliced ​​cheese and mayo? This can be done better....

Possibly the best toast bread I have ever tried. The toasts are incredibly tasty, eggs cooked to perfection, quick service. Everything you need for a quick tasty treat.
