The man working Security, I think his name was Sandro, he was extremely friendly and polite. He gave me some good information on Lucerne on things to see. I felt really safe being here as a tourist. The drinks tasted really good and the prices were reasonable. Good atmosphere and music. Definitely worth coming to for a few casual drinks.

I booked a cocktail course in advance on the website for a friend's birthday - and today we were faced with a closed door. We came all the way from Zurich and were happy, it was really a horror scenario. I have received a booking confirmation and an appointment reminder by email. I also called last week to get insurance because the bar is usually closed on Sundays. An employee said that he will give my name to his manager to check the booking. I haven't been this upset in a long time and I really hope that the booking options on the homepage will be adjusted and that all bookings will be checked in the future. Absolutely unprofessional. Addendum: I was called and the situation was explained. The course was incorrectly entered a week later and I was offered a free course.

Rather expensive...can hardly compete with the surrounding bars in terms of price.

Amazing concept - parents can come in for a glass and have their kids along playing in the kids area. Friendly staff, good choice of drinks. Snack was good, but the place is not for dining, and they don't promise it)

This is a cocktail bar for people who know a thing or two about cocktails. Anyone who wants the cheapie can go to Hintergaggenau and order their “Schöttli” in the village pub. I've been to really good cocktail bars in big cities, and this one can easily keep up with them. The atmosphere is cozy/relaxed.

A great bar with a wonderful ambience. I celebrated my big birthday here with my twin sister. The team was perfectly prepared. Everything previously discussed was implemented and was ready on time. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. The service worked very well. The selection of drinks was great and the drinks were all freshly made and tasted perfect. The festival was very successful and I can highly recommend Kaspar and her team. Bravo for this wonderful evening with you!

it's ok. It's not that small, but feels like it is due to stairs and platform. Staff was friendly and drinks were ok.

A bar I will never forget. Ronin, the bartender was an absolute amazing soul. I stumbled upon the bar as I was walking by, went in sat by the bar, and welcomed my new year in style and class with deliciously crafted cocktails! A spot I will definitely visit once again! Went there for the first time today with my children. The concept is brilliant! Nice play area, good coffee, loving details and friendly staff. I particularly liked the syrup for the children, served in a small pineapple glass. I haven't been able to try the drinks yet, but I'll definitely do so!

Great bar with a very nice concept! During the day a great coffee with a large play area for the kids, in the evening a great bar with great drinks, great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. Definitely worth checking out! My tip: let the bartender surprise you with a recommendation.

Was there for an aperitif last night with a gastro critic. They didn't even have anything to nibble on with the drinks (although it was noted on the drinks menu). The statement was: They had used up everything they could eat the day before. At the next table, the guests received savory biscuits. There is a Coop branch across the street, which is open until 8 p.m. on a Thursday. We were there from 6 p.m. It's also very loud, even when there are only four tables occupied. It's a shame for this cool place. Owner doesn't respond enough to the review. The price of his nutli mix was never an issue. If he isn't able to organize something after more than a day, then he should leave it alone. There's something that goes into an aperitif!

We are already looking forward to our next visit and a King Cuban Cocktail!

Super nice location with absolutely delicious coffee. I used to love coming here with my child. Like many other mothers and fathers. By 10 a.m. there was no room left, especially when it was raining outside. Then the nasty surprise. The Kaspar now only opens at 4 p.m. Then now is not really the time to head off to the town with your child. Maybe it's become too loud for them and the children too much? Curtains and a carpet in the play area would absorb a lot of noise. In any case, I don't find it really child-friendly and I don't do it anymore. In addition, the prices are rather high. Had lunch once. The portion was tiny compared to the price. BUT: the owner probably noticed and scooped up more. It's a shame, it's really nice and I wonder why there aren't more cafes like this.

KASPAR sure is one of my favourite places. I like the staff and the owner sure is mostly on display and up for a chat. During day the place offers a place for families since they have a small playroom in the back where your kids can play while you enjoy a (honestly quite tasty) coffee with a cookie or so. I mostly visit the place after dark when its a bar with music. Although they have good (craft)beers let yourself mix a drink from the barkeepers, they have skills. Hard stuff's not your way to go? Have some of the wine they're offering. Refreshing or with a lingering aftertaste, everything around. After 10 pm (Saturday) the place is mostly very (very) crowded which is a bit annoying because you have no space. Also it's quite tricky to hang your coat somewhere since there are no hooks at the counter nor a coat rack at the entrance. Also in summer it can get quite warm inside, but let's be honest, who stays inside when it's summer in the city? What are you waiting for, get your buttocks down to the KASPAR.

Child-friendly with some drawbacks: Were here twice: the first time it was said that the children's corner was only open until 6. Even after looking it up, there is no such information on the website. The barman was visibly annoyed when we still used the children's corner. The second time there at 20 to 6. Children's corner was already closed. It's a shame: the children's corner is very nice in itself and our daughter liked it, but unfortunately it's typical Swiss complexity when dealing with children.

Despite booking in advance, not enough tables were provided. In the end, we were even deprived of a table even though there were other people on their way to this bar and we were all drinking in the bar.
