La Crêperie in Neuchâtel

We came at 1:00 p.m., 1 hour of waiting to receive a salad and then the pancakes which were average, we will not return, however the waitress was on top with a smile

Crepes are incredibly good. If you ask for any options with goat cheese, the slice they put is veeery generous. Perfect for cheese lovers. I enjoyed it a lot. The dough is very chewy and tasty. They have different types of dough as well. We order the sarracin (buckwheat) and preffed it over the normal one. They also have a huge variety of sweet crepes, and they are also generous with the portions, putting a whole banana or pear. Also their coffee is pretty good. And they price is not high at all. We will repeat next time we visit Neuchatel, we were delighted! About the staff: They are extremely friendly and although we went on a very busy hour and had to wait a bit for the food, they treated us kindly and also took care of a backpack we forgot in the table. Merci beaucoup!

Really nice restaurant, the crepes are good ! I took the one with mushroom, cheese and ham, it was really nice. I recommend also the one with goat cheese !! Special mention for the dough, they have chickpea flour, buckwheat and more ! People are really welcoming, definitely recommend if you're in Neuchatel!

I have been coming to this creperie for over 10 years and this is the first time I have written a review for this establishment. The crepes are good and not too expensive but the service is deplorable and this is the case on each of my visits. The service people are busy even when there are only 4 tables to serve, the tables remain with dirty plates for sometimes 20/30 minutes after the customers leave their table. I ordered an extra crepe (after the first), there were 4 finished plates in front of us and we were cleared only when I received my last crepe. I remember one time I waited 15 minutes for my order to be taken (3 tables including the one I was at), 45 minutes waiting for the crepes. I ordered the 2nd crepe directly at the same time as the first so that it would be served shortly after the first. But in the end I waited another 45 minutes to be told that they had forgotten my crepe. In the end this time I spent 2 hours there for 2 pancakes even though there were almost no people there. I come back because I love the food, but each time I leave frustrated due to this service which is truly aberrant.

The pancakes are hearty and the dough is very moist. The service is quality, very family-friendly. The place has architectural charm, the space is larger than it appears from the outside. And finally the price is right. To recommend.

We ate excellent crepes where the service was cheerful. The manager made us a crepe for dessert made from chestnut flour stuffed with chestnut cream and with clouds of cream lined with gruyere cheese on top. This is the best dessert we’ve had in a creperie so far! A place to absolutely discover. Thank you 🙏❤️

The service is deplorable, no know-how, it feels like a pub… the service is slow. We don't even talk about crepes... I had a mushroom steak crepe, it was tasteless... Don't forget to order your second crepe before the kitchen closes before 9:30 p.m. without warning.

I really recommend this restaurant, as a French person, it is one of the only affordable restaurants in Neuchâtel! And the quality is there!

Starting from the premise that I am re-rented, here is my opinion: - kitchen 3/5 - service 4/5 - restaurant 4/5 - card 3/5 Food: it was good, neither bad nor incredible, the ingredients were quality, but the dough was really overcooked for me (it was crispy). Service: Very friendly waiters and waitresses, fast service and payment. Restaurant: pleasant decor but be careful it is small and even the tables are small. Card: it's a card, it works, but there are too many elements, too much information, each pancake has a number, I found it difficult to read. It’s a very cute little creperie, I think that for a sweet snack or their drinks I would come back ☺️

We had the pleasure of tasting excellent crepes, one of the current proposals for the savory and for the sweet, the temptation was too great... Nutella/banana. You too can enjoy a leisurely visit to the beautiful old town of Neuchâtel, its lakeside promenade and... its Crêperie Bretonne.

Very disappointed ! We sat at a table last night and left without eating or drinking... We waited for the waitress to come to us but without success... After 35 minutes of waiting without even ordering a drink we left! The waitress was trying to do what she could but this creperie should perhaps think about significantly improving its service to improve the customer experience...

Warm welcome, such a charming place, hearty and delicious pancakes!

The food was good but the menu was overwhelming as it seems they have tried to note every combination of ingredients instead of keeping it simple like at the creperie chateau. Very small inside with tables very close together, and it's very dark. I didn't see a brightly lit and spacious room like on some photos but maybe I just didn't explore enough. The waitress was a bit clueless and tried to give us the wrong food and wouldnt take no for an answer when we told her. She really wanted us to have those crepes! Another staff member had to come over and tell her she was wrong.

Looking for a place to eat on a Sunday evening in Neuchâtel we came across this nice creperie where we ate very well and where they even let us play a little extra time on the schedule without problem. To do again without hesitation during the next visit.

The toilet was often closed so I had to sprint a third of a kilometer to Place Pury to wash and I ended up slipping and falling in urine. Total Chabis

Rather noisy place, difficult to follow the conversation around the table. Small chairs and tables, not really comfortable, especially because the tables are stuck together. Friendly and rather quick service at lunchtime. In terms of food: I had a hair in my pancake - not really hygienic.

It's a creperie in the center of Neuchatel that we discovered by chance, but the dishes were good (both the one with sausage and the one with cheese) and very "nutritious"! The price/quality ratio is perfect (we paid little compared to Swiss prices)

The best creperie in the canton. The pancakes are excellent and you can feel the quality of the food. The big plus is that the dough is poured instantly (and that changes everything to the taste). Well done team.

A place with a certain character and really nice service, it’s a pleasure. There is a wide choice of very good pancakes which are all hearty and at low prices. Maybe update the menu which offers salads that haven’t been made for years 😉 We'll come back, it's worth it.
