Supreme cuisine with refined ingredients to guarantee the true taste of Italian pleasure! Christian's welcome was friendly and very professional, the gluten-free pizza was a true culinary orgasm of pleasure, in fact it is difficult for us celiacs to find flavour, quality and taste and almost impossible in Zurich, but I must admit that the Artist restaurant has satisfactorily fulfilled all the attention that we celiacs seek. Such a crumbly, soft and tasty pizza dough was simply unimaginable, until I tried the cuisine of Christian and his team. My greatest and most sincere compliments, you have won me over and I will be happy to visit you often because you demonstrate that where there is good cuisine there is also love and taste which, like all good and true Italian families who respect the love and where there is the quality of family that begins and never ends!! Unfortunately not a true Neapolitan pizza! The restaurant advertises Neapolitan pizza and some photos of the pizzas look like it. However, when I recently picked up the pizzas I ordered, I was really disappointed because they weren't made in the Neapolitan style! No idea whether the owner or pizzaiolo has changed or whether the appropriate pizza dough etc. has run out... The people were friendly, the pizzas were otherwise OK in terms of taste. In any case, it's not at all fair and correct if you don't get what you were promised.

Just change the music. Jokes apart, wonderful place, wonderful service, wonderful pizza!

I was very happy in this restaurant, with so much heart and hospitality that I didn't expect, they made us feel like we were kings. Fast service, the best in Zurich and always all familiar, good people who work here. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Violet .

None of the mushrooms were cooked. The sauce was watery. They raided the tomato paste and there was almost no kasar cheese. The dough was so hard that even a knife couldn't cut it. The coastal areas were burned and turned black. I asked for arugula and was told there was no left. It said there was wifi at the entrance of the place, but the waiter said there was no and did not give the password. They even said to look at the menu from the app. As a result, two people paid around 2 thousand TL for the worst pizza of my life.

Here you can eat authentic Neapolitan pizzas. The menu is rather small (but you can also order things that aren't on the menu (e.g. pasta) -> no idea how?!) The pizzas are very good and the ingredients are delicious and fresh. The edge was sometimes just a little too big and rubbery. You didn't have to wait long for the pizzas. However, everything else. It took a long time until we received the card and then again until we could order. The service is nice. A big plus point is that the restaurant is in a great location but is a little hidden. This means you can practically always find a seat. There is seating inside and outside.

We ordered 2 pizzas, one was completely burned black in the bottom. It was not edible. I don't understand how they allow a client that pays for a product, to receive it these conditions. If I was in the restaurant, this pizza wouldn't even come to the table. I was deeply unsatisfied and I had great expectations. The delivery man was on time tho.

My wallet was stolen and found in the toilet by employee Francesco. He immediately contacted me on Facebook. Unbelievable, I'm glad that there are still such good and honest people. I've never been to this restaurant before, but thanks to Francesco's helpful and not self-evident work, I'll be happy to try out the food there! Many thanks :)!

This service was bottomless, at first we had to wait two hours for the pizza, while others got their pizza even though they came later than us. At the end we were accused of leaving without paying. Never again!

I used to love ordering from L’Artista, especially the “l’artista special” pizza. Was super tasty and well made pizza. Unfortunately the most recent orders were extremely disappointing . There was barely any topping on the pizza, not even 10grams of mushroom on a prosciutto e funghi. For a pizza to be 24 chf and 40% barely sauced dough is an insult towards both pizza and customer.

The pizza is fine and the service is nice but inattentive despite the small restaurant. Unfortunately it is uncomfortable because it is too narrow and very cold because the door is constantly open and there is a leak in the door area. We waited 2 hours for food.

One pizza came with one half completely burnt, when the waitress saw it she brought a new. Another pizza looked okay but quarter of the bottom was burnt. Pizza tastes 7/10 apart from burns. Atmosphere is nice and authentic.

The Prosciutto e Fungi pizza had thawed mushrooms instead of mushrooms (as the description says), which were disgusting. They were huge, spongy pieces and a lot of water came out when you pressed on them. They also had a very strange taste.

Sadly, what we ordered with Uber eats looked nothing like the quality in the pictures that this restaurant claims to serve in the restaurant. I'm extremely disappointed. The 4 pizzas and sides were not cheap. There were less than half of the ingredients or almost no sauce, cheese , or ingreadients on these soggy crackers that were delivered to us. I would have been happy with pizza in the pictures, but the bait and switch left a bad taste in my mouth literally.

The quality of the calzone was good, but with the 2 for 1 promotion through Uber the filling was so limited that I will never order there again. I am very disappointed and upset! JUST LEAVE IT WITH THIS 2 FOR 1 when the filling is so tight!

I really wanted to try this pizzeria. However, having seen that it was on Uber eats one day, I ordered two (offer 2 for the price of 1) I understand that they are therefore trying to put less toppings etc. but the pizza was really ridiculous. As someone who really wanted to come and try this restaurant, I think I'm going to pass given the quality of the delivery I received yesterday. It is such a shame!

And we returned after 7 months!!! Usually, when you return after some time, 90% of the venues either remain at the same level of quality or show a more or less pronounced negative inflection. Not the Artist Zürich!!! In these 7 months he has improved a lot. In the past it already offered high-level quality, pizzas made with quality products and excellent dough. Now, today, the level has definitely been raised, and I think it is the best Neapolitan pizza in Zurich!!! I hope they maintain this level, but above all the quality/price balance, which is very important for word of mouth!!! The staff is super friendly and kind, always responsive to every request. The coffee is Italian, it is very good and cannot be missed at the end. I highly recommend for fans of Neapolitan pizza!!!

We came here for dinner on our final night in Zurich, and we we’re blown away at how amazing the pizza is here! As an Italian, I know great pizza and you will not be disappointed at L’Artista! We shared the Parma and Michelangelo pizzas and also had the Tiramisu and Panna Cotta for dessert; also very good! Buon appetito!

Definitely the best pizza in Zurich

After an hour and 40 minutes of waiting, the cold pizza arrived without even the extra ingredients that I requested and paid for.

Nice place, very kind and welcoming staff. With their delicious pizza they made us feel at home, high quality ingredients, delicious fries and prices in line with Zurich.

I believe that the reviews of this restaurant do not do it justice, as it offers a quality and, above all, delicious product. The attention is friendly and effective. I also recommend trying their coffee 🙂 In conclusion, a perfect place to remember an excellent Italian meal.

I ordered a Calabrese pizza. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't at all like the pictures, no real Neapolitan dough, cheap processed cheese and no spicy salami but just normal, cheap salami. A disappointment, I can't recommend it.

We were able to spend a sunny Saturday lunchtime in the garden restaurant of “L’Artista” in Zurich! We were immediately greeted by the warm boss, who, together with the pizzaioli, was the absolute highlight of our visit. They both always had a joke and did their work with a lot of love. You immediately felt comfortable as a guest. The starter was a fresh salad with a spicy Italian dressing. We also ordered crispy bruschetta, which was topped with the right amount of olive oil and fresh tomatoes. The Neapolitan pizzas that we got for the main course had a fluffy edge and a wafer-thin base. We were particularly enthusiastic about the “Pizza Vegetariana”, which was generously topped with grilled vegetables and spinach. Even our request for garlic on the pizza was fulfilled without any objection. The homemade tiramisu was recommended as dessert, which was also very good. There was also the best espresso I've had to date. A little greeting from the kitchen was a must and we were each given a lemon sorbet. It was refreshing and the ice cream had a creamy consistency that you only know from good Italian ice cream. Our visit was a great experience through and through and we were amazed to see how few guests found their way into this gem. We will definitely come back ;)

Gluten-free pizza was not homemade, simply a cheap ready-made pizza dough was used. Mascarpone 2.50 was missing and they tried to convince me otherwise on the phone afterwards!!! They also wanted to make me look stupid in the sense of “Mozzarella looks similar” Unfriendly and unsatisfactory. Very disappointed !!!

definitely not neapolitan pizzas - we got flat and mediocre pizzas for take away. 26.- for a vegetarian is also quite pricey for what you get…

Real Italian pizza, not low-level imitations. The dough is good and everything is good. Excellent guys inside and very good Italian coffee. I'm Italian and it was like eating at home. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, what we ordered with Uber eats had nothing to do with the quality you serve in the restaurant itself. Was very disappointed. There was easily half of the ingredients in the one we ordered, compared to when we eat in the restaurant. But honestly, I don't know if I want to come back after this.

I ordered and they delivered the wrong drink and they didn’t cut the pizza like I asked. Also it’s not Neapolitan pizza like on the images but very generic takeaway pizza. I won’t order or visit again.

Unfortunately a lot went wrong that evening... The pizza wasn't what I'm used to in Naples... The life was basically baked out of the pizza... The dough was in the oven too long and we had to run out Waiting 30 minutes for the pizza... The waiter made an effort... The interior wasn't very harmonious or perhaps in keeping with the not-so-great experience... it's a shame... But the greeting from the kitchen was nice... So rounded up 3 stars

I ordered via Uber Eats. The two pizzas were horrible. The dough was tough, the mozzarella was runny and like bubble gum and the salami wasn't very good either. The oregano was completely missing... I then called the pizzaria and they just said that Uber Eats runs through another company... But their name is still on their receipt. She wanted to brush me off immediately on the phone. For me the best pizza in Zurich

Second visit, and we will come again and again. We usually go before 19:00 so it’s not too busy. The service is top-notch during these hours (I read some reviews that maybe as the night gets busier the service suffers? We never had a problem.). Pizza is beautifully fired with a perfect crust loft and crunch. We start with the antipasto platter (huge!) and then I get the misto salad, he gets the spicy salami pizza, a bottle of red, and then we share. It’s a perfect casual date dinner. (And recommend a pre-dinner cocktail from the Dali bar across the street!!)

There's better... poor ingredients

Me and my partner went to l’Artista for a dessert, so I can’t judge the pizza. Tiramisu was better than other places, although we would have like some more savoiardi. Still, the portion was quite big for the price and we liked it. The baba with stracciatella (suggested by the waiter) was a bit disappointing for the price/dimension (14CHF and it was slightly bigger than a mochi). It was frozen inside, and the filling was minimal, but overall the taste was good. Also with the drinks, my boyfriend didn’t receive the beer he ordered, and after I ordered a glass of red wine, they came with some other suggestion. We didn’t feel like remarking this, as we were tired and he was nice. We got the feeling that the waiter didn’t have it 100% under control (despite few tables in the pizzeria there was quite some waiting), however, he was polite and courteous, so he left a good memory.

Delicious pizzas, fresh and quality ingredients. The selection of desserts is also good. Quick and efficient service. Friendly staff, familiar and elegant environment, quiet atmosphere. I recommend booking as the place has few seats.
