Cozy and very nice atmosphere, with good dishes and great mint tea

Of Moroccan origin, I wanted to eat a good couscous to take away, I was afraid of not finding the flavors that I know well and it was all there!!! My son being allergic to cow's milk proteins, they were even kind enough to be careful by not using butter. I recommend for the service, the taste++, the cleanliness and the speed of the order which I ate very hot!! Thanks again

An absolutely fantastic discovery of the flavors of splendid travel. An entry in the form of a tasting which immediately gives you all the flavors of Marrakech and Lebanon followed by a tagine with the scent of delicious candied lemon. With a mint tea at the end. I recommend. And a breathtaking view.

A friendly setting that takes you on a journey with an oriental atmosphere. A little difficult to find, located above the library opposite the CHUV de Lausanne. A little disappointed by the couscous which lacked flavor with dry merguez because it was overcooked, and a tasteless broth. A plate of oriental desserts with only small shortbread.....

My family and I spent a pleasant and quiet evening at this restaurant. The decoration and atmosphere were conducive to relaxation and tasting, giving the impression of being elsewhere. The service was also excellent. As a home cook, I have to admit to eating well. I chose the Lamb Tagine with Prunes, while my company opted for the Lamb Tagine with Artichokes with Couscous, and both dishes were excellent. I was even able to have my tea only with mint, because green tea disrupts my sleep. At other places, asking for just mint often gets strange looks, but here the lady even suggested it to me! This restaurant is highly recommended!

To celebrate my birthday I chose the Marrakech restaurant. the boss threw me a great banquet for my 50 guests. The restaurant room is magnificent, with a simple and chic oriental decoration, thousand and night lamps with a sublime view of Lake Geneva. The meal was excellent quality, a variety of 7 Lebanese mezze and 3 Moroccan dishes. The service was professional, a real desire to please and to make all guests feel pampered. A big thank you and congratulations to the entire Marrakech team. See you soon.

PLEASE HYGIENE BEFORE TASTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A first for us, I had taken a mixed (3 meat plate), indeed a very tasty dish, we were very happy at first but I discovered a hair in the kofta skewer, I said nothing (even though it was already for me a very serious culinary mistake) but in order not to spoil the atmosphere with my partner I decide not to say anything, then a second hair in the lamb skewer!!!! ...I obviously preferred not to taste the chicken skewer to avoid a third hair, I relayed the information to the waiter who very quickly collected my plate and made me replace my dish with couscous which I decided to take away and this is what I find in the dish when I come home: HAIR is just SCANDALOUS!!! the dish ended up in the trash.

Wonderful place with a superb view of the city of Lausanne. We ordered kofta, lamb couscous, Moroccan mint tea and fondant chocolate, I asked without ice cream. Everything is very tasty, you feel that it is cooked with love, the chef has golden hands. Thank you Marrakech for this wonderful welcome, we will come back.

Horrible experience! We were received in a totally disrespectful manner, no one to seat us, we were given a rude sign in the distance to show us the table, once seated, no one came to take the order, the waiters laughed loudly and spoke in Arabic to make fun people (fortunately I understand them) I am completely shocked and decide to leave the place, before leaving I want to let them know and they tell me the door is over there! The worst experience I have ever had! I'm happy with one thing, not having spent anything with them!

20.04.23: Booked the evening before quite late, but the reservation goes through and a message tells me "you will receive a confirmation", OK I wait all day. The opening hours don't match the reservation times so I'm already wary, in general this indicates restaurateurs who don't keep things up to date. No news so when in doubt we show up, out of respect. There someone tells us that the restaurant is closed for a wedding. “That’s why we haven’t confirmed you.” So no news = no?! How are we supposed to understand that it's not a fault or an error? Incomprehension. How does the reservation system on the site let us get a table if EVERYTHING is reserved for a wedding? Surely you knew months in advance, right? And in the worst case, if your system is poorly designed, an email to prevent people from traveling for nothing is cool. Poor business management, no consideration for customers. We traveled 40 miles to get here, wasting our time. It would be worth investing in a better reservation system urgently if you don't want to continue losing customers. ABE. Otherwise the place is magnificent and well located. Damage.

I ordered on Justeat, the food was delicious. The only downside is that the portions are small for the price but the quality is there. Thank you for this wonderful meal. I can't wait to come and eat there.

I was given a dish with meat, although I had a very explicit conversation with the waiter and told them that I am vegetarian. They offered to make the meze plate vegetarian for me. However, after I started eating I noticed a weird taste and asked the waiter. Turned out I was eating meat! There was not much of an apology, except waiters telling me that they were "sorry", but that it was not their fault. (Whos fault was it then?) I feel really disrespected by the staff. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this was a big deal for me, and I did not receive a proper apology, an acknowledgement of their mistake, or any efforts to make it up to me. I was still expected to pay my full meal that was NOT what I ordered. Extremely unpleasant experience!

Well, I advise against it. The kitchen closes half an hour before closing, something never seen before in a restaurant. Please refuse us entry 1 star because you can't put zero.

It is upstairs in a building, so spent a few minutes to find it. Delicious food, both good quality and quantity, and very nice staff. Definitely worth to try when looking for something not European.

Just awesome! From the outside it doesn't really look like it because the facade is ugly. There is an elevator to go to the restaurant at the foot of the building. Once at the top, however, the view is magnificent from the terrace and from inside as well. The boss is super nice, the restaurant very well decorated, very clean as well as the toilets. The menu is varied and the prices are fair. The quality of the food is really great! You can go to Morocco and eat worse. All dishes are homemade and extremely well made. Great experience. The plate of couscous is full, very good but a little dry. My suggestion from a similar experience; It would be nice with couscous to have chickpea, currants and a separate sauce to adjust your plate to your taste.

Good welcome despite the arrival time, almost 2:00 p.m. we arrived to eat harira soup and something Lebanese (I know, in a Moroccan restaurant and it was not bad). I have to be honest, the only thing to rectify is the maintenance of this place which could be better if we took care of the maintenance thoroughly. Especially the floors, walls in the pretty toilets. Other than that, the prices are a bit exaggerated.

We came to eat with friends at this restaurant and everything was delicious. I recommend 200%, plus the possibility of booking with TheFork.

Tested for the first time and approved. Tried the lamb and artichoke tagine. I am someone who is very demanding and picky about what I eat, but here I found absolutely nothing to complain about the tagine. It was perfect. Copious. Juicy. Goutu. The lamb melted in the mouth. Artichokes too. Even the seasonings and the small elements to add flavor were completely controlled (candied lemons, coriander, onions, etc.). Served with an airy semolina that stood out well, no clumps of semolina which is a very good sign. I will return with great pleasure to taste the rest of the dishes. Well-aerated mint tea with maximum foam according to tradition. I will return with great pleasure and look forward to being able to test the terrace in summer with a sumptuous view of Lausanne and Lake Geneva. Very friendly staff. Congratulations.

Subdued atmosphere, breathtaking view and delicious food. The tagine with chicken and preserved lemon was really good. I recommend the mezze mix as a starter. The service is also fast. To do again in summer this time to enjoy the magnificent view of Lausanne.

A safe address for Lebanese and Moroccan delights, and a special mention for the view from the terrace that you wouldn't imagine at the bottom of the building :) The atmosphere is very nice in the evening also inside with the refined, sober and elegant decoration. The menu is suitable for vegetarians without problem. Info to keep in mind if this information may concern you: during our last visit with a baby visiting us there was no child's chair.

Horrible, restaurant policy...We arrived to have me, a drink and my friend a soup...We waited 5 minutes and then the waiter came and said that "We are not a bistro, we don't want to lose a table because of you! You have to order the whole menu." Excuse me, but do you indicate that in your menu! With rules like that I NEVER come here, even if I'm starving. Ciao

Delicious and authentic I have already looked for takeaway or eaten there ten times. The quality is very high and consistent. The flavors are refined and authentic - and the dishes well garnished. Normally they also offer a lunchtime buffet which is super varied and delicious - and very good value for money.

I ordered via Uber Eats. The portions are generous and the food is quality. I chose the kefta tagine (meatballs) with semolina. The sauce and semolina were excellent, the only downside was the meatballs were much too dry.. Too bad. I also had falafels as a starter which were perfect, they were accompanied by top cletait hummus. Fair prices and well packaged.
