It was my first time in the restaurant and it was really good. Everything was right about the food and friendly service. I'd love to come back.

The pizzas come from the wood-fired oven, the dough is fluffy and crispy and the toppings are prepared with love. One can rightly say that the burgers are world class. I've been there a few times and have never been disappointed.

I have rarely seen such a friendly and child-friendly service as here. Very motivated staff, the food is excellent, we will be happy to come back and are very satisfied. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. It is also worth a visit with children. There is a play area for the children, which is no longer a given these days is

For x years I have been eating in the military garden about every two months. But the last few times were so bad that you won't be seeing me again anytime soon. It was crowded, cramped and extremely loud. The waitress was very stressed and more or less ran through the crowd. This is actually the case most of the time. A few months ago we had a pizza and the drinks came afterwards. At least it wasn't like that yesterday but: My pizza arrived first, lukewarm to cold. The chicken wings came when I was almost finished. The sauce that came with it was completely inedible and tasted like vinegar. There used to be at least two sauces. A pizza was forgotten and had to be reordered twice. After we paid, we discovered that the wrong pizza (+4.-) had been charged. I still give it three stars because I was often satisfied.

It used to be better. Unfortunately, mistakes that are unacceptable often occur when eating. But the pizzas are highly recommended.

I'm always surprised at how diverse the menu is. The food was always very good and I like the atmosphere. The service was very friendly and attentive. The desserts were a bit small for the high price and were not so beautifully presented.

Four of us visited the military garden one evening. The salad buffet was good. There were various salads to scoop yourself. The service was friendly, but seemed a little overwhelmed since there were many guests in the restaurant. The price-performance ratio was ok.

The restaurant was full. It was correspondingly loud. The Cordon Blue menu was good. In the menu of veal liver with rösti, the rösti was not edible. Our complaint was responded to positively and alternatives were offered.

Thank you Paul for your patience and understanding, it was a pleasure to feel at home.

Food was so-so. Rude man (possibly owner) with very snippy comments. Waitress was nice though. Would not recommend the restaurant.

Food was okay. However, a man (probably the owner) was actually very rude to my girlfriend. He noticed she did not eat everything that was in her plate, so instead of just asking "are you finished?" he stared at her and said "DoN't U WaNnA FiNiSh iT???" and kept staring at her, as if she had to finish it immediately. After a few uncomfortable seconds, he finally took her plate away, but he made these comments: "there is a child portion" followed by "there are smaller portions too" (which, by the way, are not listed in the menu). Even though the other waiters were very nice (service would have been 5 stars), we are not coming back.

Nice rooms, interesting menu, good wine, good cuisine. The venison schnitzel with all the side dishes as it should be was excellent. Rather upper price segment.

The food was really very good. I can only recommend. We had brusketta, pizza, pasta and a burger and we were all very satisfied. The service was also very friendly and accommodating.

Went there with a group this evening. The food was ok, but not so good that I would come back. The price/performance ratio doesn't match. The service was sometimes scatterbrained and seemed unprofessional. Quite loud and unfriendly. Overall, an evening that I was disappointed with .

Everything was perfect, very nice friendly service, fine food, everything was perfect. The risotto with truffles was wonderful. Tea is served in a pretty glass mug, freshly brewed, no tea bags! I like it very much :) would love to come again

Went for an aperitif Friendly service.

Food was very good. Staff very snippy and creates a tense atmosphere. People hardly dared to defend themselves! Unfortunately there were also a lot of misunderstandings when ordering and staff blamed customers with a very aggressive manner!!!

Unfortunately it's not the same anymore. The staff were very unfriendly, slow and forgetful. The pizza was mostly mozzarella and could have been in the oven for a bit. Very long waiting times.

The Restaurant Miltärgarten, I say it so true, was once a restaurant that I enjoyed visiting. I have been present as a guest twice since the reopening. Once to see how true it is and the second time to have a drink and a spontaneous meal. Well, nothing came of the food whatever. I think that the service could be improved so that you don't have to wait 20 minutes to order a drink and you can also spontaneously order a meal on Saturday at 6:15 p.m. I would have loved to have tried and eaten the "salmon". Well it wasn't meant to be 🤔🤔. It should generally be considered how the staff behaves in the guest area. I saw a lot on that Saturday and experienced how the staff presented themselves to the guests. I think the two ladies know what I mean!!! I certainly won't be coming back for a long time because, in my opinion, you're not welcome here as a guest. It's a shame that things have changed so much, since it used to be an address that I was happy to continue to use and that I really enjoyed staying at least once a week. What a shame, what a shame🙄🙄 It's been 2 weeks since my last visit!!! In this sense Matthias Abegg That's true two years ago I still gave it 5 stars!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very friendly conditions and an ingenious menu with many fine dishes. Enjoy your meal. A bit expensive with additional cutlery charged. After 3 large salad plates, we shared 1 pizza and had to pay for additional cutlery. We thought that was cheeky because we already had the cutlery and only got 3 small plates.

I love the restaurant, good food, good service and very clean. Whenever we want to celebrate something we go there for dinner. This last day we ate at the pizzeria and it was also very good.

Apparently 30 year old house sauce is very bad. Even the waitress said she didn't like the sauce. It was kind of sour and spicy completely a strange combination apparently there was a change from that Chef, this is the third change to the recipe, so why does the menu say “30-year-old house sauce”? 🤮 I had to vomit at home. The boss also asked if we liked it, we said no. The restaurant didn't even offer us coffee and we were nice enough to order coffee and dessert anyway. You will NEVER receive a visit from us AGAIN. And don't forget that the best advertising is word of mouth...

Delicious pizza from a real wood-fired oven and Neapolitan dough. Plus an Erdinger. Of course MIGA also serves other things but if you like pizza you can only shout with joy and say delicious. It doesn't have to be every day, but I'd love to do it again. Service is friendly and quick. Price is okay. Best pizza in Lucerne and the surrounding area. Simply great and certainly recommended. Keep it up and all the best for the future.

I had a great experience in the military garden last week. Nelli and Heidi are doing fantastic! We were served very attentively and cheerfully. The salad buffet with the truffle risotto was a dream. I can only recommend you and will always come back to eat with my customers.

New management and new wind. Very nice atmosphere and good cuisine. It was very fine.

Good food and efficient service. We wanted to go out to dinner with the children early in the evening. In 45 minutes we were on our way home.

The boss there was very unfriendly. Luckily there is a change again. Food expensive but great.

Very unfriendly staff. We sat on the terrace at a table that had previously been occupied. The waitress very rudely asked us to change seats immediately because she still had to clean there. Our idea, however, was that if it rained we would sit under the umbrella. Even though we noted this we had to change places. When it started to rain and we still went under the umbrella, we wanted to pay. However, no one came. When the waitress saw us and asked if we could pay, she said no, because it was raining and she couldn't come to us. So we almost left when another employee came after 5 minutes. Rarely experience something like this...

Good food, large antipasti buffet. Nice, friendly, competent staff Highlight, you can watch pizza being baked, oven, right next to tables. Ambience from simple to elegant with white tablecloths. Price performance is right. Free parking in front of the restaurant. Recommended

Can you eat gluten free? Pizza gluten free is awesome. And many other things, the food is very good.

Current catastrophe: Owner will change in October. In the meantime, the restaurant should be avoided. Map is greatly reduced. Pizza was served completely burnt. The staff was informed of this and immediately recognized this and brought a new pizza. So far so good, but my companion served the food cold afterwards. However, the best came at the end, the staff suddenly denied the black pizza and attacked me for not knowing what a wood-fired oven was. It was also claimed that everyone would otherwise be happy. The restaurant was completely empty and there is something to be said against the fact that the customers left the restaurant satisfied.

The place turned out to be very nice. Modern but still very homely. The food (bruscetta, tartar, paste) was very, very fine. The white and red wine are also very fine!!! Service excellent and very friendly 👍👍👍

Very great restaurant. Attentive and friendly service and very tasty food! Unfortunately they have removed the veal liver menu from the menu. I would be happy if this were back on the menu.

Quite okay, but nothing more. Had a business lunch there, everything was uncomplicated, but the food was mediocre. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't recommend it. The Cordon Bleu, which almost every restaurant in Switzerland competes with, was soggy and apart from the fact that the cheese (or ham?) was spicy, you couldn't taste any of the cheese, even though it was there.

Pizza Mania (all-you-can-eat) doesn't work: you wait around 60-90 minutes for the pizzas and can't order more than 2 pizzas per person in 3 hours

Very cozy and tastefully decorated restaurant. Food was really very tasty. On Sunday we spontaneously had room for 4 people. Cordon Bleau very tasty, with three types of cheese, chicken wings also a poem and the tartare as a starter was a poem. Would love to come back. Were there again. Food is still amazing. It was Cordon Bleau with about 10 varieties. Pizza is also very tasty, it comes from the wood-fired oven.

Terrible service, over 5 minutes of waiting at the door before receiving a table, after which I was invited to change tables because a room was closed for cleaning, the salad and appetizer buffet was dismantled at 9pm and therefore I couldn't choose anything else. I was expecting a lactose-free pizza but this was not possible, in the end my choice fell on a terrible breaded one with fried potatoes. Dessert??? There are??? I'm sorry but I'll move on next time

There is an a la carte menu as well as a seasonal menu. Garden area and 4 different indoor halls. There is even take away. Really a good restaurant that has been known for over 40 years.

The food was good, maybe a bit expensive, but it was the unfriendly service I've ever had... As soon as you entered, you got the feeling that the staff would rather you leave and that continued until the end.

Had to pay 3CHF for empty plates. :-/
