Food was okay, came out quick. They asked us 3 times about our reservation which was weird and the restaurant was only about half full so I didn’t see the point anyway. There was no background music and the place was quiet and with people eating it’s a bit .. dunno.

No server on the terrace We have to go and help ourselves! They serve drinks in plastic glasses! Might as well go to McDonald's

Review of a lunch; on February 23, 2024. The restaurant is ideally located 10 m from Lake Geneva with an outdoor terrace and an indoor room. The view is really very pleasant. It's a shame that the furniture is so cheap, which is understandable for the outdoor terrace but is really unfortunate for the room. As for the food, the tataki ordered by my wife was simply delicious. I can't say the same about my salmon tagliatelle which was literally swimming in a tasteless sauce. The service is correct and efficient, even if there weren't many people. Finally, in terms of price, 87 FS for 1 dish, 1 glass of Chasselas and 1 coffee per person seems to me to be above what it was worth. But OK.... In the end I'll let you be the judge!

Although we arrived without a reservation as we were passing through, we were greeted by friendly, smiling staff who immediately took care of us for dinner. The service was perfect as well as our menus. We have good memories and will be happy when we next visit Nyons to come back for lunch or dinner in this restaurant.

Good food but disastrous service

We ate a very good tartare, not strong for me... there were people there but not too many.

Mixed experience… It’s a shame because the food is good and the atmosphere with a view of the lake is cool. But the service on the other hand… We had to ask for the cards, we waited over an hour to be served, we received excess drinks, the stove for my meat was empty and I had to light it with my lighter once it was full... On top of all that, the staff is not particularly cheerful.

The best of the best, impeccable service with a smile and fast, great food, I highly recommend.

I showed up to order drinks and the waiter literally left without letting me finish my sentence. I pointed it out to him and he told me that he had 300 people to serve… when there were barely 20 people… I call that messing with customers! All this for not serving outside… Excellent for losing customers…

We drank a coke on the terrace in the sun. There was no outside service at this time of year.

Beautiful view and very romantic

First experience: Fantastic, including the violent storm while we were on the terrace. High performance perch nets. Second experience shortly after: Oops... the factory, the canteen, with desserts from the day before, at least. Well... tourists are happy, because they have an immediate view of the lake. - And it’s beautiful! 😉

Regional specialties and delicious classics

A local recommended this restaurant to sample the Lake Geneva specialty...perch. The dish exceeded expectations. The fish were cooked perfectly and seasoned generously with herbs and a healthy dose of delicious local butter. The sides were good too. One was a sautéed green (spinach I believe) with tomato and sprinkled with cheese crisps. The other potato French cut fries. Of course the view of lake Geneva while you dine makes everything taste a little sweeter. If you're in Nyon and looking for a nice meal, this is my recommendation.

Value for money for the unbeatable suggestion of the day! For 21 francs, salmon rice vegetables, well served, very well presented, very good. +4 francs for dessert, simpler but very good, soufflé ice cream with red fruit coulis. Very pleasant terrace and great service.

Order of the most expensive dish on the menu (rib steak): very small rib steak (despite the 180g displayed) and totally tasteless, almost no accompaniments (portion of fries smaller than my point), no bread, ultra-pretty sauce. I'm going home for lunch. Server's suggestion: you should ask for extras. lol.

Got complaints from the waiter because we looked up the menu on their outdated website. But they also didn't bother bringing us the menu (we picked up the drink menu ourselves). We asked one waiter if we could join tables, he says we should do it ourselves, a minute later the next waiter yells at us we shouldn't do that. Generally understaffed. Paying, taking orders, serving, handing out menus, ... nothing works. Person at the bar "I'm just handing out orders, don't stand around here, I'm not letting you pay or order, don't block my counter". They have a convenient location.

I have been there several times to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake but each time the service is extremely disappointing. It is slow (we are not even given the card, we have to ask for it when they finally decide to come to our table 15 minutes after we have been seated, even if there are very few others customers, although it should be automatic), the choice of drinks is terribly limited, and the waiters are very unwelcoming and pleasant. It honestly doesn't make you want to come back.

Terrible quality terrace, from food to drink. I ordered a normal beer and it tasted like water. How to eat I ordered a sandwich that arrived cold and the thin slice of cheese wasn't even melted. Rude and humorless waiters. I immediately felt bad I highly recommend this place.

We had a very good lunch but then the sap would have to change jobs. Not pleasant at all, does not know kindness despite our smiles. It's not my style to post reviews but being in the profession I can't imagine that. It's a real shame because the setting and the food are great but I wouldn't want to go back there just because of the service....

25 minutes of waiting for scoops of ice cream, we ask the waiter, he tells us that they didn't prepare it so we left, especially since the other employees didn't do anything, they don't care about losing customers and what's more laughing in front of us.

A very nice place. For the second time I go and I am equally happy.

Terrible service. We had to wait 30 mins for someone to take our order even though the waitress was taking time to take a picture of the sunset but she refused to come to us. On the restaurant website, the menu shows there is a banana split in the desserts. We came specifically for that However the waitress insisted that “it’s impossible” even though I could see it on my phone.

Very good restaurant, pleasant and non-stop service which is a positive point. We went there for the second time the meat was succulent off the plate seemed a little less filling than the last time. A little expensive but fresh and Swiss product with a beautiful view of the lake.

Very pretty setting on the banks of Lake Geneva. The restaurant was not very clean. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. There are some great products on the menu, unfortunately the butter on my perch fillets was burnt and lacked taste. Very good desserts.

Great welcome! Attentive and smiling staff. The dishes were good. The view of the lake is breathtaking. The only downside for the price is that the portions could have been more generous. Overall very positive experience.

Friendly and efficient service. Beautiful terrace with lake view. The downside is on the food side: the dishes were far too simplistic for the prices asked. For example, put frozen fries (and not good ones because they're not crispy), with perch fillets for 48chf (!!)…. Ditto for the side dish (spinach) not great. On the other hand, the poles were of good quality. It’s a shame because the setting is beautiful.

One of the best Burgers I've eaten...don't change anything, it's perfect. And today there are more shots too. Good.

We were there in the afternoon and had a Coupe Danmark and an ice cream parlor and drinks afterwards. Everything was well prepared. From the restaurant you have a beautiful view of the lake. The service was a bit inattentive. We had to make ourselves known several times before we were served.

Excellent choice there! Very recommended - we didn't make a reservation, we had a seat straight away, very friendly service. The food was of excellent quality at the level of good hotel quality in Switzerland. Even though it's a menu of the day. The price was good considering the quality of the food, the place and the location of the restaurant. We loved this moment in this place and we definitely plan to return in the future. Don't hesitate to go, you won't regret it!

Very slow service. Been waiting over an hour for our food, which is cold tartare

the view is spectacular however the experience was horrible. It took over an hour to be served with our starters and our server was the most confused person on the planet. He got stuck in between the table and a bench and he left people’s left over n our table. When we eventually got our food, we found it was very plain and had no taste to it, even when we added salt. For reference we ordered tartare de boeuf, tartare de saumon and the burger simple. Overall it wasn’t that great and I don’t really recommend coming here, there’s a better restaurant just next door, at least that’s what my dad said.

Very pleasant setting at the foot of Lake Geneva, with an incredible view of the Alps, Thonon les Bains...Lunch on the terrace under the sun. The half-and-half fondue (with Vacherin) is delicious, but the desserts are also delicious.

This is the first time I have eaten such poorly prepared and bad perch fillets, overcooked and bathed in a large quantity of butter. I regret not having taken photos to show the disastrous presentation of this dish. As for the quality, we can only be outraged: around 8 pieces of fillets, certainly frozen and reheated in the microwave, industrial and dry fries and spinach which seemed to be reheated or quickly defrosted. This mediocre meal for an excessive cost of CHF46.-and unprofessional service. It’s shameful, pure theft for customers! In addition, the restaurant is dirty: the tables and chairs are very uncomfortable and not clean. The menu card was also full of fat. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I would even advise that this restaurant should be checked on the quality of its cuisine.

Incredible! Highly recommend - did not make a reservation, was seated right away, very friendly service, accommodated our poor French with English menus. The food was the best I had in France/Switzerland by far. Will have to travel here again to go back. Do not hesitate to go, you will not regret it!

Excessive value for money! Tartare 38 francs with frozen fries! Caesar salad with store-bought chicken strips! When we asked to split the bill in two the manager asked us how much it was in a casual tone! We felt like we were seriously bothering him. On the other hand, the servers were very friendly.

A very big disappointment… there were 2 of us and we chose burgers, the bread was dry, hard and tasteless, of poor quality, not to mention the meat, a chemical sauce and terrible fries… fortunately the friendly waiter apologized… all for 70chf it's shameful... it deserves a refund... I'm crossing it off my list...
