I visited during laclett event day. I could only order lacalett with entree and dessert. It was good to feel the Switzerland vibe. There was live performance of swiss folk songs and could order a swiss wine as well. Server was greatly kind.

Really delicious food and very friendly wait staff. We came with our two little kids (3 and 5) and never felt out of place. They immediately got some paper and some crayons to draw and the waiter suggested for us to have them split a dish (we chose the risotto, which they loved). Only downside is that this is certainly not the cheapest place.

The fried chicken is very delicious! The service was very good and the carrot cake was very delicious

We dined here for traditional Swiss fondue. Not only was the food delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful and romantic, and the service was excellent throughout. The fondue was flavoursome and accompanied by a wide range of condiments. Our waiter Benjamin recommended a lovely aperitif to accompany our meal and we had a great night. Highly recommend for trying Swiss cuisine when visiting Grindelwald.

Positive: The bill wasn't as high as expected... Service was a disaster, totally overwhelmed and not coordinated! Food is just bad! The house dressing for the salad is sour yoghurt, the meat is tough, the ravioli is cold and the fish is also tough. Never again, tourist trap! It's a shame given this great atmosphere. There would be more to it

Classic Swiss chalet atmosphere and style. The staff was professional while still welcoming and personable. My friend and I had the fondue and it was one of the best fondues I've had, the bread with it was particularly fantastic. Good wine menu with some really great small local wineries available by glass. I'd definitely recommend for a upscale but still classic swiss dinning experience.

The Fondue here was incredible. First time having the dish and it greatly exceeded my expectations. Also, the apricot dumplings were enjoyable.

The Nüssli salad is highly recommended, the dressing was so delicious and homemade! Then the cordon bleu, simply perfect! The wish for a little more vegetables instead of fries was promptly fulfilled, the vegetables were simply sensational, from Romanesco to cauliflower, broccoli, yellow orange carrots and celery, everything was available. Super fresh. Next time we eat fondue, the one at the neighboring table with tomatoes looked great 😍 All in all, super friendly, nice service and top quality food. You can't go wrong as a guest.

Four of us had dinner here and were treated extremely well. The four different dishes were served at the same time, tasted excellent and the very competent waiters also contributed to a successful evening. We'd love to come back

We were able to enjoy a wonderful drink (Italicus). Homemade and decorated with flowers. After a strenuous day of snowboarding, this was just the thing! We were able to relax in good company while enjoying this work of art.

Service was abysmal and the food was really not good enough for the hefty price! The vegetables served with the cordonbleu were bits of frozen veggies and the fries arrived only after several minutes after the main plate.. Absolutely would not recommend.

What a tourist trap! 59 chf (!) for a raclette menu without any taste, with industrial cheese, and small, terribly slow hotplates. Overwhelmed service, who forgets to clear the dishes before bringing dessert! And what's more, it's very expensive. Run away !!!! There are many better alternatives to Grindelwald, starting with Edelweiss stube or Kreuz und Post.

Tomahawk steak: Served cold, side dishes have nothing to do with cooking. The price is so exaggerated (85 p.p.) not recommended!!

Miserable food. Tomahawk is touted as a specialty. Service staff doesn't know how to cut it. The cooking level is not even asked. The Tomahawk is a cheap quality, full of fat. Most of it cannot be eaten. Mushrooms and fries are mentioned as side dishes. Frozen fries come in a tiny bowl, no sauce. 4 cut up mushrooms are placed on the plate with limp rocket. There is hardly a more loveless frozen vegetable. And all the misery for 85.- per person (!!) At the end you don't even want to have a nice evening. Thank you - never again.

We took a family trip to Grindelwald, Switzerland and as our last night we came here. The cozy atmosphere and delicious food was a perfect end to our trip. Benjamin, our waiter, was kind and patient with us as we enjoyed a long night of food and drinks. Thank you, Benjamin! You made our night :)

Authentic and tasty Swiss restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed the cheese fondue and the atmosphere was quite good.

We enjoyed our evening so much here when visiting Grindelwald for the weekend. We had been recommended the cheese fondue which is made from fresh local cheeses served with home made crusty bread. The fondue was divine and the ambiance was warm and welcoming after a trip to the top of the Jungfraujoch, it was the perfect ending to a perfect day!

With such a cute atmosphere and being inside our hotel, I wanted to enjoy this place but it ended up being a sour note at the end of our trip. A reservation is most likely needed and we did make one a day in advance and were promptly seated upon arrival. The service staff was very disorganized and the manager was our server the entire night (which was not a good thing). We had a member of our party that was celiac and they were not helpful at all in helping her navigate the menu and borderline irritated so she ultimately had to take a risk in her order. The biggest thing we had an issue with was when we ordered tap water for the table, we were told we would be charged $5 CHF which frankly should be illegal. We ordered the chicken wings, steak and trout dishes. The chicken wings and trout were decent however the steak was so bland and not worth the high price at all. All in all, I would try other places before coming here given the disorganized service and high prices.

The restaurant offers a great and cozy atmosphere. The food is very tasty and the wine selection is also appealing. Benjamin as a waiter was very nice and competent. A place that I would happily recommend!

Despite booking beforehand, there was not enough space, booked specifically because of the wine list and now the limited menu is great, this would be pointed out in a good restaurant. Then an order was forgotten, delivered 15 minutes later, the same with the subsequent order for the children The icing on the cake at the end... poor management style, you don't criticize employees in front of customers!!!! Very bad leadership style and absolutely no longer tolerated today.

Had the racelette candlelight dinner. Authentic taste. Lovely lamb salad but the vermicelli dessert was a tad on the sweet side. Portions are good. They need to have a clearer distinction of what constitutes kids prices as my 14 year old was given the adult price.

My wife and I shared the seasonal autumn salad with fried goat cheese and it was delicious. I ordered the Zanderfilet (pike) which was cooked perfectly; the sauce went very well with the fish and ravioli. My wife order the flank steak and gave that a high review as well. The staff was very welcoming and helped us select from their menu. Bruna our server was very kind and quick to get us what we needed.

Steak is delicious? Without even asking how the steak should be cooked, they immediately give you a piece of tough 300,000 won worth of trash. You can see the true scenery of only white people sitting at the window seats with a view. Even if there are seats left, they will never be changed.

Very good cuisine. The service is very professional. The cook came twice to ask if everything was going well which shows an interest in the customers. We recommend this restaurant for its very good food and friendly and attentive staff.

We were a table of eight, and four of us got severe food poisoning - spent the night in the hotel room bathroom purging (this never happened to any of us this violently!), which ruined the next day since we were all very weak and sick. To make matters worse, the food was expensive (due to the location) but not even good, and the service was one of the worst I have ever experienced. Don't go there, even as a last resort... There are many better alternatives in the area.

If you come. Well, you eat a lot of tomahawks. I think you can eat it alone or as a rösti. Swiss cows are healthy because they get a lot of exercise. At 85 francs per person, including alcohol, the total is 300,000 won. It will come out... Anyway, that's it. If you really need to experience it, I agree with the experience.

Our pre-booked group of 10 people must have had a black Wednesday evening. 7 x beef flank steak, 1 x veal cordonbleu, 1 x veal liver and 1 x giant prawn. Conclusion: Everything was served to us together, but apart from the giant shrimp, all of the menu items were only lukewarm and the cordon bleu was already cold. There was also a mixed salad with the flank steak, which turned out to be a green salad and practically sauce-free. Unfortunately, the beef flank steaks, no matter how they were ordered, were not grilled pink but rather tough and almost cooked through. At a price of CHF 54.00 you could actually expect better meat or grill quality. As an apology we were offered a cafe and 1 liqueur, although the 10 cafes were still included on the bill!

I visited after reading Seonggabi’s review. There aren't many places that stay open late in the evening, so I use it as a double duty. I like the Tomahawk. It's cheaper than a Swiss Mule.

Good food location is beautiful the restaurant is busy butbwe were still treated wonderfully. Special thanks to our lovely server Joshua for his wonderful sevice he was lovely with a positive attitude which again we appreciate alot. Recommendation the vegetarian soup, carrot risotto and pike fish. Also to David for his generosity in offering us drinks while we waited for our table highly recommend the coconut kiss (drink).

Very good! Ordered fondue and pulled pork. Was expecting a traditional American style bbq pulled pork but this was elevated and absolutely delicious.

Don't eat fondue for no reason, eat tomahawk. They cut it right in front of you and do all the individual settings. The price is very cheap compared to Swiss prices (the price is similar to Korea). In Switzerland, you have to eat beef! The taste of the steak is really unusual. If you eat Grindewald outdoors on Wednesday, it's fun to watch street performances too! The restaurant smells like spicy cheese, so I recommend going outside even if it's cold. We also provide blankets. By the way, if you cook it medium, it tastes like Korean medium rare.

We stopped for a late lunch after visiting the Jungfrau. We ordered the tomahawk for 2. The flavors were awesome and the sides were cooked perfectly. The steak was a tad bit tough, but the flavors were awesome. A great stop if you're in the area.

What a great restaurant this is! We had dinner here 3 nights in a row because the food and atmosphere was so nice! Super convenient location in the middle of Grindelwald on the Main Street. I would definitely recommend sitting outside if that’s an option.

Nice terrace away from the street. Exciting to watch the goings-on. Food good and nicely served. Very friendly service. Tartar, mixed salad, thé and café are reasonably priced.

Service and wine selection were ok, but the fondue wasn't great for Swiss cuisine. Tasty in taste, but very runny and flaky. The waitress brought a new fondue, but it was identical. The chef apologized personally and treated us to fondue, coffee and grappa. Bravo!

First of all, food is salty. If you don't speak German, you can put whatever you want on the bill and get more. They even asked for a tip at the end. Since I couldn't speak the language, I felt like I was ignored and just spent the money.

I had been guested well starting from the point I stepped into the place. Unlike some other restaurant in Grindelwald, most of them were rude and dislike to serve you. I have been checked if I'm ok with the food/service for more than 5 times when I was being served. Like the food, place, and especially to the service, thank you for taking me that day.

Very nice staff and nice location. We ordered the Tomahawk steak (70 per person). Unfortunately the meat was completely cooked through (instead of medium), very dry and had little taste. We definitely expected more for this price. However, the side dishes were quite good and the food was very nicely prepared.

Beef steak (medium) is delicious. It's not tough. The employees are very friendly, the atmosphere is quiet, and the interior is cozy and nice.

We ordered pulled pork sandwich which was ok and Cordon bleu was terrible. The service was pretty bad as well. For the super expensive price plus the good reviews I expected much more.

We had two meals there when we visited Grindelwald. We enjoyed the cheese fondue which was served with freshly baked bread of their own (not the typical baguettes!). Service was great and staff were very friendly. They were the best meals we had in Grindelwald.

Everyone asked me to make cordonbourg, so I tried it. There was a review that said it smelled like cheese, but we enjoyed it. Haha. The rösti was really heavy with bacon and eggs, and the portions were large, as they are in Europe. It was a bit salty, but I recommend it.

I went in because the surrounding stores were full of people, but the staff were so friendly, which was nice! In fact, I liked it better because the service was faster than in crowded places! However, Korean people may find the food salty! I was satisfied with the taste, so it would be great if you asked for it to be less salty! I ordered rösti and chicken sticks. Beer was recommended~~

We had a nice meal but it was extremely pricey. I can highly recommend the beef tartare. I’d avoid the cordon bleu, it was good but the price was too high for the enjoyment I received but it was very filling. The prawns were fresh and big, we really enjoyed that dish as well

We ordered rösti and pasta with wild garlic. Both are very delicious. Rösti was too big for one person to finish. Also staff are very friendly.

A year ago, they had the best fondue with Alpine herbs. It was delicious. Unfortunately, when we went back in 2023 they had updated their menu and the delicious fondue is no longer served. Their classic fondue is still good but the other one was just mouth watering ❤

In my opinion the best choice in Grindelwald. The selection of dishes is very good and you can taste the quality of the products with every bite. The wine list offers something for everyone. Also for those who would like to try rarities. The service and the employees are outstanding. (Finn and David deserve special mention) A culinary experience. I am uploading a Korean review. I stopped by once during my stay in Grindelwald. I didn't have high expectations, but I made a reservation through the front desk and everything from ordering to meal went well. The employees communicate well in English, and the menu is also explained in English, so you can eat without any problems. There was a slight change between the previous review menu and the menu when I visited. When I asked, they said they change the menu periodically. During the meal, they check regularly to see if anything is missing and if it suits your taste, and they also try to explain the ingredients, such as wine and butter, well. I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, cordon bleu was left in the deep fryer for twice as long as necessary and was very thin. Otherwise everything is very fine and good 👍

The treatment received is really regrettable, we are staying at the hotel, we went down to dinner at 8:07 p.m. and they told us that the kitchen was already closed, when on their website it appears that they close at 9:30 p.m., they told us very Bad way if we didn't have a reservation and since there were few guests they didn't attend to us. Not recommendable.
