Had the Currywurst with Fries. It was an amazing experience. The salad was very fresh, the fries crispy, with a bit of cayenne, which was absolutely perfect. The sausage was made out of local meat and the texture it has was so likeable and as someone living in Germany, quite enjoyed it. A great birthday meal overall. The espresso was good as well!

This cafe should be avoided due to its rudeness and impudence. About our experience: We ordered three portions of Wienerli with fries and two drinks (Fr. 56.00). In the meantime, there were problems with our car because the battery in our car key was dead. So my husband kindly asked the service staff if they happened to have a button battery so we could open the car again. This was denied by both without hesitation. When my husband turned around and my gaze was still directed at the staff, she simply flipped the employee the bird and shook her head. I asked her about it straight away and she simply said that she had pushed a strand of hair out of her face. Is it actually still possible? If you want to relax, you shouldn't choose this inn. The hostess is stressed and in a bad mood. She whines to every single guest, which was very tedious and put people in a bad mood. Superb experience in this guesthouse! The manager of the premises is very welcoming. The room was very nice and clean. The restaurant was but we were treated to a small fondue. I can only recommend this place if you are looking to relax and have a rejuvenating stay. The little extra is obviously the sauna and the location of the place. We had a wonderful dinner! We are not fluent in German but the Owner helped us choose our entré, drinks and dessert. . The Owner was very friendly and accommodating. When we realised the bus stopped running, the Owner personally gave us a ride back to our AirBnB. Yes this restaurant is a little ways away from the main area of Grindelwald, but we walked there and did the Glacier Canyon before dinner.
