The menu is manageable, but with many creative dishes. I had the vegan tartare for the main course. The food was well prepared and tasted A1. The service staff is helpful and friendly. In general a great restaurant, I can only recommend it.

Nice restaurant in a great location. Super friendly service, open kitchen and a menu ranging from vegan to steak, everything is available. The quality of the food was good to very good, but remained a little below expectations. The dessert in particular wasn't a success for me. But it's a matter of taste.

We were at this restaurant on a Saturday evening and the place was already very full. At that time the service staff, although very friendly, seemed to be quite understaffed. A nice welcome with a jacket and escort to the table seemed to be too much. When taking the order, a few little things were forgotten (e.g. how you would like the meat). The two same dishes had different tastes (no spice - apparently it was forgotten and didn't taste good at all). The service staff reacted very well and friendly - apologized - and offered us a wine. However, this was ultimately offset on the final bill. This leaves a rather uneasy feeling even though it wasn't intentional. All in all a nice restaurant but unfortunately there are really better ones in the city of Zurich.

A culinary experience! The surprising menu enchanted our taste buds. Jenny's service was outstanding - attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. A true pearl. We'll definitely be back!

As far as the food is concerned, unfortunately not my taste at all. White wine soup was delicious, but unfortunately lukewarm. I hardly ate the main course “Leek” with various mushrooms; 3 leeks filled with an indefinable brown mass, plus mushrooms. The service was very friendly and the seating area at the back on the sofa was very comfortable; Exposure and music volume also pleasant.

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and the food is also very tasty and is prepared on the charcoal grill. After the visit, the clothes smell a bit like fire.

I had a wonderful birthday dinner at Enja. The ambience was fantastic and the service was very attentive and courteous. Unfortunately the pretty inner courtyard (for raclette and mulled wine) was already closed, but we'll take that as an opportunity to come back soon!

Not my first choice in Zurich. Rather high prices (food and drinks) and manageable portions of the meals. The distance between the tables is comfortable. The seating is more lounge-like.

The restaurant is centrally located near the main railway station. The ambience is cosy, but there were only a few customers that night, which I put down to the fact that the restaurant is not yet well known. The waitress was always friendly and kindly offered us a limoncello at the end to help us digest. The food was good, but for me each course lacked that certain something. You could tell that the team was not yet well-rehearsed, as there were some misunderstandings about who was bringing the next course. The insight into the kitchen makes the whole thing a bit more exciting, but also gives an insight into the interaction of the kitchen team, which in turn confirms that the kitchen team is not yet working perfectly. Perhaps things will be different in a few months' time, when some time has passed and the whole team has had time to practice working together.

At Enja you feel like you are in another place and not like you are in the middle of the city of Zurich. The service was first class, from the greeting to the farewell. Courteous, warm and attentive. I felt comfortable and in good hands. We ate game and it was a great experience. Since Enja has an open kitchen, we were able to see every activity and every movement as the plates were prepared... with joy and passion. Thank you very much for your hospitality. This restaurant has a nice decorated little garden. It’s not busy at all. It’s a bit chaotic : I got first the menu card. Later I asked where the menu for the drinks. And then I asked again a bottle still water. I ordered a mocktail. I has to wait for it. What you have to do for your customers? 1. Bring them to the table with a big smile 2. Ask them what they would like to drink : still or bubbly water 3. Give them the drink menu 4. Give them the menu 5. Service them for what the want: first in, first out. 6. The most important: stay in the same level; your customer are sitting and you can not ask them while you are standing, you have to sit. The foods are not delicious, especially the main course: everything grilled. No tasting sensation. The amuse was oké. The salade, it’s look that the green vegetable are not so fresh, the leaf are not crispy. Sorry for this review.

1990s euro-cooking that's best avoided and is now hard to find in a big city. Amuse-bouche that add little to the meal, and bland meat and vegetable grills. Exorbitant swiss prices. Smiley service, but don't dare ask for the table that you want even when the restaurant is empty.

Great place with great food and great ambience. In terms of price-performance ratio, it's rather expensive - portions could be a bit larger. Still highly recommended!

The Enja is located in the Hotel Seidenhof in a side street on Bahnhofstrasse. The little garden paradise outside is absolutely stunning: very cozy. Food is absolutely recommended! Many ingredients are prepared on the grill right in the restaurant and you can watch. It has creative vegan and vegetarian dishes that are imaginative creations in their own right. We were served very attentively and friendly. The furnishings are extremely stylish. From the wall colors to the lighting to the accessories. As I said: when the weather is nice, definitely sit in the courtyard and eat there.

I recently visited the Enja restaurant in the Hotel Seidenhof, located right next to Zurich's famous Bahnhofstrasse. I was immediately impressed by the modern and stylish interior, which is accompanied by a breathtaking green courtyard - a real oasis in the middle of the city's hustle and bustle. The menu was pleasantly surprising with a variety of options, including numerous vegetarian dishes, catering for every taste. The food itself was excellent; fine aromas, carefully compiled and presented, reflect the high quality and craftsmanship of the kitchen. The service was equally authentic and friendly, making the visit a pleasant experience. The extensive wine list allows a good complement to any dish, although staff knowledge of the wines may vary. A less positive aspect was the price-performance ratio. The prices are quite high and the portions are relatively small. I also find the price of CHF 5.50 for a small bottle of tap water quite high, assuming that there are no extra costs in most restaurants in Switzerland.

This place was amazing. Truly the best restaurant experience I have had. The staff was so kind, helpful and talkative. They were the nicest staff I have ever met, the food was great as well! This restaurant was the first place in zürich my family went to so it positively effected the rest of our trip and my view on the city!

Impressive good! I highly recommend the Ribeye steak medium with matchstick potatoes. The service from the English speaker lady was excellent! She was kind, gave us suggestions, and also was very careful with the champagne we ordered yesterday. I really appreciate the atmosphere, the gorgeous garden. I am sure we will be back anytime.

They do offer a nice variety of food with meat and also with a lot of vegetarian options. The food is very nice but quite expensive for what you get. They put a lot of love in Details and offer seasonal menu which is very good. The ambiance is very nice especially outside in the backyard.

Honestly the reason I am writing this review is for our server Jenny. She was so sweet and endearing. She took such great care of our group and it was her FIRST DAY. She made our experience. Food and atmosphere was incredible, highly recommend

We had dinner on Saturday night at Enja restaurant for the first time and I must say the experience was wonderful the restaurant manager explained the entire menu and even recommended the wine from the starter to the main courses really interesting all the way through the trip gastronomic see you.

Possibly one of the best place to go for a nice lunch during the week. Leisure or business. Both work. The service is always smiling and attentive. The Fish/Meat of the Day is always a treat though I must admit I only had the meat. The ice cream is homemade and... to be considered for desert!;)

Highly Recommended! Many ingredients are prepared on the grill directly in the restaurant and not hidden in the kitchen. The vegan and vegetarian dishes don't just leave out the meat, but are imaginative, independent creations. Very attentive and nice service. The furnishings are extremely stylish, you can tell that competent designers were at work here. As soon as it gets warmer, you should dine in the courtyard, a highlight in the middle of Zurich!

Had a wonderful lunch on the terrace of Enja where my friend recommended we meet. The staff was lovely !! Super kind and accommodating, we had a main with side and a mocktail each, plus coffee, all delicious. Would love to visit again on my next trip to Zürich. Highly recommend it for it’s vegetarian options, the grilled cauliflower is their specialty and it’s well worth trying.

A good place to spend some time.

The cuisine didn't convince me: the salmon appetizer was tiny in size, while the rib eye, which was cooked incorrectly, was very stringy and lukewarm. If I get the chance I will try again to express a more confident opinion. Friendly service, even if not very well prepared (several inaccuracies on the menu).

Unfortunately, our visit to the restaurant was a disappointment. We had to wait a whole hour for the first course (the salad) of our 5-course menu and an entire course was completely forgotten. Although the atmosphere was pleasant and modern and the service was generally friendly, the food was not at all convincing. Although all the ingredients were fresh, the taste of the finished dishes was disappointing and fell far short of our expectations. The waiting times between courses were also far too long and further spoiled the overall experience. It would be nice if the restaurant could improve its kitchen performance and reduce waiting times between courses. Overall, I unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant due to the disappointing food and the long waiting times. It's a shame, because the friendly service and the modern ambience were promising. But ultimately the food is the most important factor and in this case unfortunately it didn't convince us at all.

This restaurant is great. They have a good selection of vegetarian and meat dishes and they are delicious. The service and atmosphere are great,too. The open kitchen is a nice touch and the great thing is that you don't feel any smell from there. I would recommend the beef tratare as a starter and all the types of steak as a main course. The prices are decent for Zurich.

The food was very tasty. However, a bit expensive. The ingredients were seasonal and regional, so selected in a very modern way and with great attention to detail and the ingredients. 💖 I was still missing something, but I will definitely try it again. The waiters were a bit inelegant & clumsy, not that friendly (somehow didn't quite fit the concept). However, a young waitress was very personable and attentive (5*) 😊👍 The atmosphere was nice and certainly even nicer in the summer.. 😍 I'd love to come back and try it again 😊

I ate there twice. One time it was the best chicken I've ever had, one time it wasn't grilled properly. Guess there were two different chefs.

I know this is a new restaurant and hence the hype, but the food is very average. Pork main course was stinky-strong male pig smell and tough. Won't be back.

It is bad experience tonight. The staff forgot us at all. After we sat down , they try to avoid our eyes contact. After we ordered , no bread coming , I think they May be busy . But my wife remind me , the kitchen started to talk to each other. So I remind the waitress. Then the kitchen started to work . Ha , he didn’t make the order!! … And pork came without vegetables! And he didn’t ask what kind of sauce I need? I don’t feel respect. I do hope to say thanks for your job. Sorry
