Riders in Laax

I am not a vegeterian, but I don't mind trying something new and healthier from time to time. I liked our 5-course meal, it was sophisticated, I learned some new dishes and tastes, but it wasn't anything that I would come back for. It was definitely interesting, some great combos there (the dessert with the beetroot was so unexpectedly good!), but the overall rate from me is 4 stars. Plus with such a short menu, if I wanted to come back, I would have to repeat some of my previous choices. But if you're a vegeterian, that would be a great option for you here.

We were here in 2022 and it was amazing. Great food, exciting wine and fun people. Back in 2024 and it was none of these things. The food was hit and miss: this is fine, because it's an ever-changing menu, but today wasn't great. Worse was the wine. Don't get me wrong, the wine selection is awesome. But we got such small pours of wine, especially compared to other tables, that I genuinely felt cheated. A real shame. And that was the fun people part: we were hurried between courses, food arriving when we were at aperitif, coffee being offered during dessert wine, etc. Yes, we're not cool snowboarders, but treat us like you also care about outsiders. A real shame. I hope it reverts to the 2022 experience.

Excellent vegetarian restaurant both in the quality of the ingredients and in the service. Creativity of the dishes worthy of a starred restaurant, very good and surprising cocktails and wines. A must-visit restaurant if you pass through Laax!

Everything was perfect, from the service to the food ! Special plates and great tastes. The ambiance is amazing, you have also the chance to stay there at the bar/disco for drinks after eating and chilling with nice music! I recommend it for everyone ✨

After 20+ times at this restaurant I had to change my rating from 5 to 4. And the reason is that the chef seems to love salt and butter/cream a bit too much. Therefore main dishes are tasty but very very very heavy.

The tasting menu with wine accompaniment is really great - special and super-fine.

The Riders are now a regular part of the program when we are in Laax. I think the cuisine is a taste revelation, not just for every vegetarian. And for me it proves that you can cook wonderfully without meat and compete at a higher culinary level. Big compliment, great price/performance! Be sure to order the menus with drinks, whether with or without alcohol - a lot of creativity is also shown here. The ambience impresses with a cozy living room atmosphere, you immediately feel at home in Riders. The service is top: incredibly courteous, friendly and competent. You can feel that people enjoy working here.

I always enjoy eating at Riders every now and then. Not only is the food always a taste experience at its best (I'm a big fan of the dessert combinations), but the service is always excellent and super friendly. which contributes to the ambience always appearing very pleasant and relaxed. (even on days when the restaurant was full) TIP: I can highly recommend the wine accompaniment (and also the non-alcoholic beverage accompaniment)! You can tell that someone has really looked into it.

Riders restaurant has the BEST vegetarian menu in Laax. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The staff are lovely (and very attentive), the chef is world-class and the setting is super vibey. I've been here a lot with family and friends and go back every time I'm in town 100/10

We loved this restaurant!! Highly recommended! Super innovative, creative, cuisine. After dinner we started scrolling your Insta and found one dish more brilliant than the next! Atmosphere was also very pleasant and warm, not least because of the friendly team. Homemade kombucha was great, as well as the basil spritz and everything anyway :) We'll be back :)

Really loved this place, it's unique and has great vegetarian food. You don't miss the meat and it's a great experience, nice wines and friendly staff, definitely would recommend this to anyone. Price is little higher but it's worth it.

Unfortunately I found the food unconvincing today, no creative cuisine, not enough variety with fresh ingredients. The taste was good. I had a Jerusalem artichoke soup as a starter and a gratin of potatoes with sauerkraut wrapped in a savoy cabbage leaf with juis as my main course. These two supplements were not worthy of the title “main”. Unfortunately, my criticism of the content was not really understood. It's mushroom season right now, that could have helped the dish with some freshness. Thank you to the service for my criticism and your understanding.

Best place for a night out in the Laax/Flims region. Had a lot of great parties in this club throughout the winter season. Good drinks, a mix of different styles of music & a crazy soundsystem.

The service is very pleasant and friendly. The head chef comes by regularly and knows exactly what he is doing. Everything perfect from A-Z! Very refined and balanced vegetarian cuisine. Great praise!

Wow, everything is right here. Modern, sustainable plant-based food, down-to-earth appearance, but top-class quality. We've never asked for a recipe in a restaurant before, but with this sunflower seed spread we had to, it was too cool. Drinks were also fantastic and the price was more than fair. Super great food! This restaurant offers a small menu of local fresh vegetarian dishes. Service was very attentive, the drinks amazing and we could take our dog with us. The atmosphere is cosy with nice music in the background. As for the food, I guess the pictures speak for themselves.

Definately recommend eating here. Menu changes every couple of days in order to make sure it is fresh and seasonal. It is full vegetarian, and you choose a starter, a main and a dessert. We ate here twice in 1 week and both times we had a completely different menu. I would suggest to always get the plate that looks the most odd to you, that is what I did and I glad that I tried such unique flavors.

The kitchen is absolute class. The two boys know what they are doing and do it with a lot of love. When I heard the name Riders, I remembered the "party youth hostel" from back then... It has since developed into a stylish hotel with a culinary concept that, in my opinion, is worthy of a 5-star hotel.

The staff here is absolutely awesome! All of them were very hospitable and friendly. Both dinner and breakfast was unique, high quality and very enjoyable. In general the hotel is full of little details which makes it special and gives an higher end feel. The nights were not ok. The beds are very soft and our room was in front of a half pipe. At night there are groups of people who smoke and party outside and it caused a lot of noise and smell of cigarettes inside the room. The first night we called reception and they successfully requested the people to move. The second night there were people even with a bluetooth speaker playing music till 3AM. Nobody at the hotel picked up the phone (tried 20 times) and we all didn't sleep. I think in general what you have to know about this hotel that it is good value if you go with friends when you share a room and it is expensive (300CHF per night) if you just go as a couple. Meaning there are groups who spend less who come to party and set that kind of atmosphere and there are couples who pay a lot (and expect a lot) but find themselves in a party-type atmosphere and don't accept the noise of partying people all night long. We were financially compensated by the reception which was very professional but which we would have known before how the concept works.
