Storchen in Luzern

We ordered an Italian white wine per glass Sfr. 6.50... We always order that... Plus a cheese plate. When paying, the waiter charged Sfr. 18, when asked, he rudely claimed that he had poured us the Heida that we ordered. But you could tell from the color of the wine that this was Italian wine... So we reluctantly paid 9.Fr. per glass for the Italian wine (6.50 per glass). Actually the guest is king. So far we have always received friendly service

We stopped in our first night in Lucerne for a glass of Prosecco, Prosecco Sutra to be exact. Excellent and friendly service so we stopped back every night we were in Lucerne. We had dinner there one of those nights and everything was excellent. Tapas is what their menu consists of, so small bites. We ordered several and it was more than enough for our appetites. SARAH was our server every time we were there and she was wonderful. She spoke fabulous English, thank goodness, both her and her fellow servers remembered us and what our drinks of choice were, rare these days. The last night we had a nightcap, dessert and cafe. The chocolate soufflés were so good, wish I had them every time we were there. Our compliments to the chef and Sarah thanks for a wonderful visit.

Great location. The Storchen wine bar operates with passion. On the ground floor you can enjoy well-served and stored wines by the glass. There are also fresh, good sausage and cheese specialties to accompany the wine. The employees know their wine very well and can provide competent advice. They also seem to work well together as a team and are very friendly. Food is served on the 1st floor. The food is tasty and harmonious. The atmosphere on the ground floor is elegant, modern and cozy in a wine/wine farm. On the first floor it is a little more rustic but still good. The only thing I don't think is quite optimal is the light and volume conditions on the first floor. But that's not a handicap. You can have a nice meal upstairs and then chat downstairs at the bar with a few glasses of 🍷. Prices in the middle range and adequate for the performance. Thank you, I'll keep coming back...

The two of us were on the terrace. After a few minutes the waitress came and said, "Hello, what do you want?" I've never experienced a greeting like that, even though I'm also a waiter myself. I've worked with bad colleagues, but it's great!!

A wine bar located in downtown Lucerne. On days when it's not cold, it's a good idea to sit around a table outdoors. It's also a great idea to mix in with the locals and enjoy a glass of wine. The atmosphere alone makes the wine taste better. Of course, since it's a wine bar, there's a wide variety of choices. When in doubt, ask the waiter for advice. English can be understood anywhere 👍 On this day, Klausjagen practice was being held in the square in front of me, and it was very noisy 🤣 It actually hurt my ears!! Was it good luck or bad ☺️ This is also the best part of traveling.

We were looking for a place to do a quick stop and have a drink and something to eat and it matched our expectations. Can't say it's a very Swiss place in terms of food (which was what we were looking for, but it is clearly our fault for not reading the blackboard on the outside) but in then it turned out to be a really good place. The waitress was really really friendly and the views sitting outside looking at the street were really nice. We had a homemade lemonade and a beer and we order the Arancini to eat, and everything was great :) Can't say it's a cheap place, considering the amount of food you get for the price you pay, but I guess it's an average price for Switzerland, so can't really complain in that aspect. Having said this, I think if I happen to be again in Lucerne I'll probably stop by again.

It's a shame that they prefer to clear away empties instead of serving customers, so we went down to the town hall brewery where we were well served!

A great little bar in the historic centre of Luzern. They have an impressive range of wines, both Swiss and foreign. I was surprised with a very good red wine from Lebanon on the first evening and had a Spanish wine on the second evening. They also have some nice cocktails and spirits. The interior is clean and a modern take on tradition without being cold. They also have space for a nice terrace in front. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have food as well and snacks to go with the wide variety of wines. There is a very relaxed atmosphere.

Very surprised by this place. Lovely square, away from mass tourism on the water, but still central. The stuffed eggplant is the best 'melanzane' we have ever eaten. And the price; oh well, you're in Lucerne. Then you know that everything is on the more expensive side.

One of our favorites in Lucerne. The first time I have had cheese pie and something everyone needs to experience. Amazing! They also have wonderful wine to choose from. What more do you need?

An insider tip in the city of Luzrn. You feel comfortable in the stork. There is also the excellent kitchen where wonderful little things and the finest food are prepared.

Anyone who wants to eat bad and inedible food is cordially invited to try so-called Spanish specialties at the Lucerne Storchen. A trip to Spain is still recommended!

Good restaurant for over 30 people.

Small pub with light lunch alternatives, soup, daily dish and many salads. The roastbeef salad was very tasty! Very friendly staff. Well priced (less than 20chf food, wine ~6.50-7)
