Türmli Restaurant & Pizzeria in Sempach

I can only recommend this restaurant. This is the second time I've eaten pizza there. Of course there are other menus too. In the summer, in the evening, sitting outside on the terrace and enjoying the fine food is very nice. The service staff is very nice and very polite despite there being a lot of guests there. But you should make a reservation there in good time. It's always very well attended.

I always enjoy eating here. There is something for every taste.

I can only judge the service and ambience, I was there for half an afternoon. Hospitable and nice staff and not intrusive. We had to spend some time looking for a waitress just to pay. The rounded up amount, paying by card, was suddenly rounded up even more. When I pointed this out, this was corrected again. I'm not assuming the operation is intentional here. But when it comes to card payments, it's better to have control rather than blind trust.

My girlfriend and I met again today for lunch. We were happy so far, but this time we were very annoyed. So annoyed that I won't go there anymore. As always, we made reservations and it worked out great. We got the card. We both wanted the Leberli. I asked our waitress “J” if we could order a half portion here. She said she thought so. I told her if she wasn't sure she should ask because I or we don't like eating a whole portion. She came back and said we could have a small portion. Delighted, we ordered. A while later the two orders came. It looked pretty big and I asked in surprise if it was really the small potion. The lady wasn't “J”, she said, no, it was the big one... small ones weren't possible????? We were both amazed, had this been confirmed to us??? “J” just said, well at first the kitchen said yes and now it just doesn’t work??? HELLO!! How about informing the customer and asking again if we want to order something else! Well, typical Swiss, we didn't return it so as not to cause a stir. That's actually wrong... the food was delicious as always, but both of them left almost half of it behind! Our waitress cleared away... After about 20 minutes I asked if we could order something else because no one was coming to see us anymore... Do you want dessert or coffee? Now we didn't order dessert anymore, apparently the shop is doing so well... our teas came... I got my black tea and my friend got a lime blossom tea, which she hadn't ordered... But even then she said nothing. After another half hour without asking if anything else would be wanted…. Did we want to pay... But there was no one there far and wide... My friend said she would go and investigate... came back... she found the waitress in the back busy with her cell phone... and asked her to let her pay... After another 5 minutes she went back again and asked to pay NOW... in a bad mood and not at all friendly... for example "excuse me"... we were finally able to pay... I haven't felt so unwelcome in a long time and as I said, next time I or we will go to the other pizzeria in Sempach and hope that we will be more appreciated there. It's a shame, my husband actually liked to go there...always for tartare in the evening...

The food was excellent and the courteous attention to our children, including coloring books, is extremely commendable. The Türmli fries and the handmade nuggets were particularly delicious.

We ordered take away. Unfortunately the food was cold, no sauce for the salad, etc. No more! I called and the response was disappointing! Will never order there again!

An excellent restaurant with fine Italian and Mexican food. The service is TOP. The boss is very customer-oriented. I can highly recommend the Türmli restaurant.

The ambience and service was OK. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing. The schnitzel was dry and the risotto was more like rice pudding. Unfortunately we won't be coming anymore.

Super Rösti. Today we went again, Piccata Milanese is also five stars. 5 Sept 2022 Buurebratwurt is also super. Eating outside and the nice serving lady from Sörenberg did a good job.

Pizza was very nice, unfortunately the knives were a disaster; you almost couldn't cut the pizza. In terms of ambience you could certainly do more, the terrace was barely lit and it was very dark. It would just be nice if there was a candle burning on every table.

Very good food and very friendly. We had a problem with the wifi and they didn't stop until they solved it. The pizzas are very good and of good quality.

We called the la toretta number and made a reservation for 9 people. When we arrived we were placed in the Italian area. We wanted to order Mexican but were told this was not possible in the Italian area. Since we didn't know that you had to specifically say what you wanted when making the reservation, we couldn't eat Mexican food. Even the boss wasn't interested. Next time I would ask on the phone what the guests want to eat if you can't choose it on site. I have never seen such poor organization. Unfortunately they lost 9 customers.

Catastrophe, I called for the Mexican restaurant, we were then put in the Italian restaurant on the grounds that everything over there was full!! After a long discussion with the supposed boss, we got up and left. Never again !!!

Unfortunately the quality of the food has declined. e.g. E.g. Pizza Quattro Stagioni - just a messy “heap” on the plate, no serving after the four parts, lack of love in the preparation. Waiting time for the starter and the pizzas was too long, over 1 hour in total (it was chaos, the table next to us got the pizzas over 20 minutes before us despite stopping later). Service was very good (can't help it if it doesn't work in the kitchen). We were used to “better” things from Türmli in the past. - There is clearly room for improvement in terms of the quality of the pizzas and the preparation management.

The food was again very tasty and the service was friendly. It's the first time we sat on the terrace. It was fully occupied. I understand if it takes a little longer. Unfortunately, my colleague got the starter half an hour before the rest of us. The main course came at 7:30 p.m. (we ordered at 6:10 p.m.) which is definitely too long, especially with a small child.

Very nice atmosphere, unfortunately we had to wait an hour for the starter, the restaurant was completely full. They made it away with the super fine food🍨🍖😋🍹 We will definitely be back. Hopefully we will have shorter waiting times and the service will have more time for us. Greeting

Food was delicious, unfortunately the Cordon Bleu is child size. Service, yeah. One of us was still eating and the clearing up had already started and the comment: "Don't let yourself be stressed." Dessert was picked up by the deputy and brought by the employee who was previously responsible. Unfortunately it was the wrong one, which was replaced immediately, but was then brought by the deputy with the comment: "You didn't order that!" That's not possible, especially since it was her mistake.

The food pizza/menu was very good. Unfortunately, "dessert" was listed on the daily menu, but it wasn't available. The answer to our query was a bit confusing: "That would only be available if the chef had something left over, but that would be charged separately anyway"🤔. The service was very quick (sometimes too quick, my colleague's plate wasn't yet empty). It's a shame, we're used to something different from the Türmli.

Whether Italian, Mexican or classic - the menu is small and yet diverse. The service is attentive, courteous and friendly!

The food was super delicious and I was always very enthusiastic about the Turmli.

The service employee was great, but the rest was unfortunately poor. Price/performance ratio is not right at all. Zurich Geschnetzeltes for Fr. 39.80.- with Rösti out of the packaging (Hero maybe 🤔) and Geschnetzeltes stretched with excessive mushrooms and cookies!

It's a shame that there aren't even any desserts at 2 p.m.

Very nicely located restaurant at the entrance to the beautiful, historic pedestrian zone in Sempach. The food was very fine and tasty. I would come back for that. Unfortunately I have to deduct 2 stars for the service. First the starters come staggered, then the same goes for the main course. We hadn't finished appetizers when the first 2 pizzas arrived. 5 minutes later another 2 dishes came and the last one again a few minutes later. And the Fanta was simply served as a bottle without a glass; you only got one after asking twice after a few minutes. Conclusion: Food was very good, service could still be improved. But you will get a second chance

It didn't seem child-friendly to me, on the contrary, the conditions seemed very annoying. I had a rösti with bacon and cheese. The rösti was a ready-made rösti, the bacon was limp, you could almost chew it like chewing gum, and the children's menu and my husband's pizza were very good

The menu is very varied and our dinner was great. Manuela was a very friendly and relaxed server who took great joy in her job. The service team generally made a very well-coordinated impression on us. We'd love to come back :)

We had dinner on the terrace. Very good food and great service. Very fond of children. Will definitely come and eat again.

Waited forever until it was our turn. Guests who arrived after us were served beforehand. Then finally when our order was taken, we waited 35 minutes for a fitness plate. I was in the Türmli once a week for almost a year and really, every second time the service was annoying. Food so-so max 3 stars.

Decent food, particular location, pleasant evening between appetizers and first courses in the company of colleagues! The bottle chosen was not the right one... it only cost 35 euros more than the one I had chosen which cost 20 euros... realizing the mistake the innkeeper made me pay 25... well done!

Their pizza is the best and they offer a variety of different dishes and food directions (mexican and italian). The food is always delicious and the waiters are very friendly. Such a great place!

Reserved for 6:15 p.m., ordered immediately and pizza arrives 1 hour later, takeaway is being prepared in the meantime. Sorry, but that doesn't work at all!!! Pizza Mascarpone is served with cold mascarpone and cold raw ham. A short time in the oven would be desirable. A pity! Will go elsewhere for pizza in the future.

Excellent pizzas with fresh ingredients. The fajitas in the Mexican part of the restaurant are also delicious. The service is friendly.

I almost always order a Margherita pizza. My opinion is: too little tomato sauce; just under mozzarella it was about 80gr. maybe and not spread all over the pizza; The edge was well baked but the base at the bottom was not.. Not enough for me. The only good thing was the menu salad. Let you decide for a Margherita 17.80.

We were there at 4 o'clock and the only food we were offered was dessert. No sandwiches, no cold plates, or something like that. We were not very happy with this fact, as we wanted to have a snack. The location itself is good, convenient, there is parking in the blue zone. For two coffees we paid 10 CHF

Very good food and very nice service

I have been a regular guest since the Pizzeria Türmli opened. Unfortunately the quality of the pizza continues to decline, which is a shame. I tried again the day before yesterday, probably for the last time. The pizza was once again not crispy, not fully baked and served barely warm. After clearing the table, we had to wait almost an hour until someone from the service showed us.

I've been eating pizza there regularly for years and have never been disappointed. Simply one of the best pizza's out there! Also lunch menu - just great. Price/performance is right!

Ordered 2 pizzas, both with wrong fillings. Too bad, that was the first and last time.
