The gelateria is simply great! There's no need for a big discussion in Bern...

The tall waitress there was extremely rude. The menu was not in english and when we asked her what food was available she just gave a cold stare. She could have at least helped with what food was available, but no. We asked for hot chocolate but just got milk and a sachet of chocolate powder that we had to mix ourself but was charged 7CHF for it. After 10 minutes she came and said that the table was reserved and that we had to leave in an hour, which again she could have informed in the beginning.

Lovely people, great rooms (I haven't slept so well in a long time), top-class food (FINALLY an Italian that doesn't offer boring standard dishes like pizza!), wonderful area - I'd love to go back EVER - all the best to you! Booked a table in advance for our stay in Brienz. Courteous and friendly staff. Pizza and vegetable lasagna tip top. Prices reasonable. We'd love to come back next time you stay!

Very nice hotel and restaurant. Good food, friendly staff. Super nice renovated rooms. Top location in winter (directly on the valley run) and summer.

Five of us are at the dairy for lunch. The reserved table is beautifully laid out and decorated with fresh flowers. The reception is friendly, the service is quick and attentive. We enjoy the fine food. (Lots of decoration throughout the restaurant. See for yourself if you like it!) Price-performance very good.
