Die besten Restaurants in Genève

The 5th of this month. I invited close friends for a very special occasion, at the Japanese restaurant Shibata, with great enthusiasm. From my experience in the first years of opening this restaurant. The dishes were not ordinary (not “sushi” said the waitress another time.) Indeed Japanese cuisine is refined and well decorated (we don't eat the decoration) even if it is very pleasant. It must be said that cooking it is a real passion…! That he keeps his grandmother's family food alive. Even if the quality is present, the quantity does not justify the excessively practical prices for certain dishes, there is a discrepancy between flavor and quantity, for some of these dishes….! Example in photo, of scallop shell! below I was very disappointed and I regretted having suggested this restaurant to my friends, they did not feel at ease and comfortable, eating as I hoped. We were discouraged from asking for the menu, saying that the menu on the menu did not represent her husband's cuisine... so why offer à la carte 🤔 Surveillance and an atmosphere weighing on us during the meal time. Not to mention the refusal to serve us wine each time, with the excuse of a problem with his shoulder (pain) that evening. I will not come back again and I do not recommend it to people who want to have a moment of pleasure.

La nourriture n'est pas de bonne qualité dans ce restaurant. On a essayé la viande et les pizzas mais ce n'est pas du tout bon et les produits ne semblent pas être frais comme les champignons. Les pizzas sont cuites au four électrique et la pâte n'est du tout bonne. C'est dommage car le personnel est très accueillant, le cadre est beau mais le seul hic reste la qualité des repas. Dommage !

Very nice home. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. The prices are correct. Good choice of burger tacos and sandwiches served with fries and drinks for the menus. Two outdoor tables for the terrace and small indoor room. When you leave the HUG and give it a try, you will not be disappointed. I can only recommend this establishment.

Not the same quality as before for the cocktails. New owner that kept the same name and deco but put a chicha bar instead.

One of the best pizzas I've had in Geneva. It's a takeaway place. The crust is super soft and fluffy. Was very hungry when I arrived at this store and wanted to try the basic ones first. Afree eating one of the basic ones, i fell in love with it and kept eating more. The portion is decent, enough for 1. The taste is really good. Would definitely visit again. Kudos✌🏻

A hidden gem in the business district of Geneva, Metropole is the full package: friendly and attentive service, impeccable design, and outstanding food. It is the perfect melange of stylish and cozy, and I highly recommend the duck!

Super cute and cozy place with nice decorations. The prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly. The cocktail was delicious (spicy mango martini) and I really enjoyed the food (baos, cucumber salad and spicy dumplings). But I recommend reserving as the place gets filled pretty quickly; even though we reseeved we waited about 8mn to be seated.
